“My family often comes to the Anderson Chicken for meals. My children love the clean and safe play area while we wait on our food. The drive thru is very quick, easy, and friendly. This facility is always clean and I feel safe having my children use their restrooms. The food is always hot, and I often try different things to mix up my food choices. My current favorite is the Turkey Wrap, but you can never go wrong with some grilled nuggies, in the Mac n cheese with some buffalo sauce on top!“

“This is the second time it has happen to me. Stopped in for two 3 piece fish dinners, was giving a number at the register and two cups for drinks. We set the number on the table ,which you could see it was just cleaned. Before we could get our drinks filled the dinners were on the table, nice hot ,and professionally cooked, and ready to eat. “Absolutely, hands down love this place. I drive up from Indy just to get some Gene's. The food is unbelievable and the service is always, always fast and friendly.

My favorite at any drive-in is a chili cheese dog with onion and mustard. These are definitely the best anywhere. Not overloaded to where you're going to stain your shirt on the first bite, but not so little you're disappointed with your weiner. Just perfect. I love a good, regular hot dog and they're top notch at Gene's. And you can get just the hot dog, no bun for your canine co-pilot.

The root beer isn't bad either; I'll always compare any root beer to the magnificent butterscotch glory that was Edward's (RIP), but Gene's is still really good. I wish they hand battered their onion rings, but that's hard to find anymore.

I know I'm in the minority, but Mug 'n Bun sucks. Remember when you couldn't tip your server if you paid with a card? Yeah. The food quality went down and prices went up. I crossed it off my list even though it's like a mile away. Then Edward's closed. I was lost and devastated.

I found Gene's when I had to have surgery in Anderson for whatever reason. We have hospitals in Indy, but whatever. It was fate that the Spanish dog found me when I so desperately needed a drive-in to call home again. I actually just got back from opening day...more than worth the drive, every time.“

“This Wawa has become our primary stop for a late-night meal whenever we are traveling through the area. Every visit is met with incredible service; the staff is always pleasant, helpful, and more than willing to answer any questions we have.

“Love the chicken strip basket with gravy! You have to dunk the chicken strips and the fries in the gravy. ALL of the ice cream is great also but it's really hard for ice cream to not be great.

Parking: Parking lot is small but Needlers parking lot is huge and basically connected to DQ.

Kid-friendliness: They have a normal kids menu. Hamburger, hot dog and chicken fingers along with a few other kid friendly items.

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a wheelchair myself and I am able to get around the parking lot. They do have handicap parking and wheelchair ramps. Inside is a little cramped but I am still able to wheel around. The bathroom is also tight but it is usable.“

“Driving from Hartford City to this at 1am as a 3rd shifter. Always fresh and the line to wait on well worth it for the best McD's within 2 hours of home. All flagship burgers/food have always been put together as expected and taste fresh. The line happens only 1 or 2 employee's working hope they are being paid well because they are doing everything right coming out the drive thru window. I will update if I ever get disappointed but so far 4 visits and still impressed! -BK“

“When I first stopped I had plans on grabbing and taking it to-go! But this employee made me feel so welcomed that I decided to sit in and eat. “For a Taco Bell I have to get a credit. As much as I hate the current store design with self-service kiosks the staff are very friendly. The kiosks are slow as you have to press your selection multiple times to place your order. The service is incredibly fast. Plenty of parking with easy access. The food is what it is. No one goes to Taco Bell because they think the food is some sort of delicacy. It is quick sustenance that is somewhat overpriced for what it is.“
