“Finally visited this new lounge. It is a beautiful space. Plenty of seating inside, multiple TV's, and you can sit outside and smoke as well. Nice size bar with lots of bourbon selections. I only had a soda, they only have coke and diet coke, and it has a somewhat strange taste to it. However, I was there to smoke a cigar while I worked and it was perfect for that. Humidor is small and has the typical prices you see in a lounge. I will definitely be back and maybe re-review after I try the food.“

“Came here for a special event and wish it was closer to where I live. The vibes are wonderful with good lighting, large vinyl and VHS wall, and plenty of places to sit both in and outside. The drinks were fairly priced, but was sad they were out of rootbeer. Main issues: not enough restrooms & at least for this event they didn't have enough bartender for the size. Will probably look for other show or event to justify coming out this far north.“

“A busy brewery with a couple of food outlets and long queues for food. I had one beer, which was nice, then took my food outside. It was good, and there was live music being played in the plaza which added to the ambience.
The toilets were clean and well maintained.“

“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“I won't lie, I've never had a place allow my dog to be treated as much of a princess as what she is here. I originally set up an appointment and party to have my dog for her temp birthday to be done here. And oh my goodness, I've never seen so many of the regulars and the bar staff treat her like a little princess as she is. The drinks are fantastic. The beers are phenomenal, but also the staff is fantastic on working around dietary limitations like gluten intolerance. I have slowly become gluten intolerant, and the staff has been fantastic about making sure that their menus are safe. For those that have these allergies. What a fantastic crew, thank you for allowing me and my own to come in here and treating us like royalty! Thank you so much!“

“I was in from out of town several days before Xmas, and was in the vicinity so from Googling, we ended up here for a quick and basic breakfast. We got basic croissant with egg and cheese buy still, I was impressed! Croissants tasted fresh. There were only a few other people there so I hope it makes more business because its a charming spot and is WOMAN OWNED! The atmosphere is that of a lounge, with several pretty red sofas.. and they've got a few of those popular lit up phrase-signs. It definitely has a different, more unique vibe than most places in Indy. Oh, and make sure you use the restroom, because the decor in there made me giggle out loud to myself!! There you'll find the cat photos that I attached here!“

“I had lunch here with a friend and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The manager served us and she was attentive and friendly. We both ordered different flatbreads that the manager recommended and they didn’t disappoint! I would dine here again and try some of their other dishes.“

This was our 1st time visiting and look forward to coming back soon!The bartender was extremely friendly and made us feel like we were regulars. “I travel to Indy once or twice a year, and I make sure I stop at KSR for food and drinks. By far the best family-owned bar and restaurant I have visited in Indy. I highly recommend this place. Do not judge by appearance (which I believe makes it a better experience). The pizza, wings, and sandwiches are off the charts. Hell, the salads look amazing, and I am not a big salad fan. “Hands down the best bar in Carmel. The owners have really built a great atmosphere to hang out right on the Monon. Excellent place to grab a cold beer after a run, grab a drink & food on date night, or watch an IU football game. If you are visiting Carmel it’s a must stop.“

“The pizza was gross. Soggy canned vegetables, ie. Shrooms. Right? Shroom daddy? Service was normal and slow. Kinda worse because they were dead on a weekend and overstaffed. Every night is a different shtick...Kaorokee, Trivia, music, oh and don't forget about the shared space, so we can cover rent... coming soon. It's a scramble folks. Everyone involved doesn't have the best track record. How many bars have failed, failed again, still suckering/ rob people, failed again, to many lawsuits, all under you. “Was looking forward to eating here. The atmosphere was great, but the food was ok. For the price, I expected the food to be amazing. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese. There was hardly any meat in it and the Mac and cheese was meh. I feel it is very over priced for the quantity. Probably won't return.“

“My wife and I stopped by to play a few games of pool. Was crowded with league teams but we managed to get one of the two tables in the back room. We stayed a couple hours and had several beers and glasses of wine. The tables are very nice, the service was friendly and fast. If we lived in the area this would be our spot. “I go here multiple times a month, and trust me when I say it’s not the closest to my house. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, but it reminds me of bars back home on the gulf coast. It’s tiny and comfortable, and other than the regular crowd who sit at the bar all of the time everyone else is always different every night.“

“Great little place. The menu is small, but the food was great! Don't get the nachos unless you have at least 4 people, or you are starving with the munchies from Hell. The smash burger was exactly what you want in a burger and the tenderloin is super thick and juicy.
I would definitely go back again (and bring 3 more people).“

Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“
