“Edit, 2025: left the original review up, because I admit when I'm wrong. This place is AMAZING. Good food, good beer at decent prices. I applaud them for doing an EXCELLENT job changing up their sides (they have a rotating side that is INVARIABLY good) and their beers. Kudos y'all, you've gained a lifelong customer.

Good food, menu is small but .. It's a burger place so... Don't be surprised. Line can be slow, but service is fast. Could be growing pains; I'll advise further after a few months.“

“I only eat breakfast items from McDonald’s when my teenager just has to have their food. This was the freshest biscuit with egg & cheese I’ve ever had at McD’s…. Big kudos to this location. My order was right and the staff here is friendly and courteous!“

“We are visiting from out of state. Decided that DQ would be better than golden arches for breakfast, certainly better than an allegedly nice restaurant we breakfasted at yesterday.
We were greeted by an enthusiastic Taniyea (I have probably mangled her name). The service was prompt and friendly.
Our breakfasts arrived quickly. The food was served hot.
We were not expecting fine dining, we were expecting good food. This is what we got. We will not hesitate to eat here on future visits.“

“So…. This giant was standing in front of the building shouting across the street at me about how this place had the best burger in town. So I calmly said I would be back to talk about it. Went to the cross walk and waited for the light and bee bopped my happy butt back up there to speak with him. He went on to claim that the double Colorado with bacon and fried egg was the best burger ever. Hmmm. We will see about that. Long story short….. after a short wait I was presented with this huge nasty good looking 🍔 burger. Geeeeezus. It was some kind of yum. And the fries with rosemary, garlic, and olive oil. Wow. Anyway. Now I’m stuffed. Very good burger. It’s a belly full. Will be back for another one. Oh yeah….. If the giant had not been on the sidewalk showing such enthusiasm for the burgers, I would have never Even noticed the place. Congrats to the big guy. 👍😀“

“This place is a 10/10! The atmosphere and staff were AMAZING!! We came to Louisville for the day to find my wedding dress. After I said yes to the dress we decided to try Mussel and Burger Bar! They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! We are coming back to Louisville for my bachelorette and we will definitely be visiting this place again! The seafood burger was also delicious!“

“Upon walking in @grindburgerkitchen I immediately caught the vibe - new age, hole in the wall burger joint with some killer artistic flair. The ambiance was welcoming and perfectly slow for a Wednesday evening. My good friend Nate and I sat down and conversed over some of the best food I’ve ever had in Louisville. I pulled out my supplies and begin to draw and paint. In his collaborative style, Nate began to snap a few candid photos as I created. Slowly the waitresses notice my work and send a compliment. I explained more about the piece and how I’d like to trade when the General Manager introduces herself and peeks at the piece. She seems quite excited and runs to the back to find something to trade me for the art - a pink disco cup. Thank you, Grind Burger for the amazing food & friendly faces. We’ll be back!“

“If you’re into a very comfortable low limit old-fashioned food experience with a fantastic bar and bartender very attended weight staff. This is your place. Amazing selection of bourbons and craft beers. The barbecue is incredible. And this comes from someone who’s had a lot. Incredible old old bar and atmosphere. Cannot recommend Highly enough. Dress code fits the low key so come ready to eat.“

“We had an event at Upland, in their large banquet room, last week, and it was not a simple set up or take down for us. Anna and the team at Upland allowed us enough access, beforehand, to transform the room into something spectacular. The appetizers and meals were top notch, served buffet style, with beef, chicken, salads, vegetables, potatoes, vegetarian skewers and more. The staff worked hard to accommodate us and the guests were all happy with the food and how we had set everything up. The were a few hiccups, like the bar having limited choices for guests. It was that there were not choices, but better known brands were unavailable, though their own brands were (and some were pretty good). Also, the staff was so stealthy, that we didn’t realize dinner had been served. We also weren’t sure how to turn some lights on when it got darker outside. Those negatives did not have an affect on the overall party and how it was received, though. I give the an 9 out of 10, knowing that those things wouldn’t happen again.“

“Delicious hand patted burger and the brioche bun was perfectly toasted. I had the Southend burger, which came fully dressed with patties and a fried egg!. The fries were nicely seasoned and plentiful. Meal includes your choice of different flavored lemonades. I got the watermelon, but would prefer a diet option because it was super sweet. “I was visiting my son and grandson and we went to drakes last night. I had never been before but I can’t wait to go again. First and foremost I wish I’d have gotten the name of our server. She was the best I’ve ever had! She was so kind and attentive and I hope management will recognize her for the gem she is! The food was amazing as well! “I live very close to here and my kids like to go over just to run around.. there is tons of open space and seating on the covered patio n outside area. I have eaten at Jeffs doughnuts, Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers (I haven't eaten here since Bunz has moved to this location but Im quite sure its the same delicious food) and all 3 are super delicious. Jeffs doughnuts is kinda pricey.. for a doughnut i mean and Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers has very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I will for sure be back to try all of the other restaurants.“

The dining area was clean and well maintained, and the overall appearance of the restaurant was neat and welcoming. “I can't give a detailed review of Burger King's menu tbh, I only ever order the same thing, a Whopper, Onion Rings, and a drink. However, I like it enough to come back, and that's what counts isn't it? I've never had any problems with this location.

“One of the items I got from there today was a large strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was literally sour. I spoke with Makayla Bishop. She said she put my name down for a free large milkshake, but said that was the only option. She was friendly about it, but I could not imagine serving someone a sour milkshake, and telling them the only option was to try another one of our milkshakes. I think if I buy a soured milkshake from your company, and I want my money back, because I will never buy another milkshake there again, I should have that option. She did say that she made the milkshakes fresh today. but that doesn't mean that it wasn't sour. This is a really poor business practice, especially for a two-star restaurant. You need to start listening to your customers. I think she handled it the best she could. but there are obviously unethical people telling her they can't give money back, even if they are served inferior products. Due to your unethical policy, I will be reporting this incident to the health department. You really think I want a free milkshake? I came for good service, not replacement food. y You policy suggests that you think you are doing someone a favor by replacing dangerous food that you serve. I only visited, because my son wanted a milkshake, and now he said he will never want to go there again either.“

“Food was fresh, which is always hard to find at lunch time anywhere.The girl who gave me my food was super kind and talked me into getting a milkshake. I was very satisfied and I'm glad to see the improvement in this location.

I would suggest painting arrows on the pavement or putting up a sign to help clarify the flow of traffic when being asked to pull around.“
