“Have not been here for a long time dt poor experience. Decided to give it another try w my cousin while she was in town from Canada. Really simple today- guy took oder at counter, we sat down, guy brought our food. We both had the lettuce wrap burgers. They were good, please know to be prepared for a super mess. In my opinion they should wrap w way more lettuce than they actually do to help w this messiness. We enjoyed our meal. It's not a super comfy place but it's not meant for you to stay long I don't think.“

“Slightly messy, service was slow, food quality not so good, deserves a 3 star, but probably the least expensive meal I've had in a long time.

Parking: Reasonably large parking lot. Could be difficult for truck & trailer.“

“So…. This giant was standing in front of the building shouting across the street at me about how this place had the best burger in town. So I calmly said I would be back to talk about it. Went to the cross walk and waited for the light and bee bopped my happy butt back up there to speak with him. He went on to claim that the double Colorado with bacon and fried egg was the best burger ever. Hmmm. We will see about that. Long story short….. after a short wait I was presented with this huge nasty good looking 🍔 burger. Geeeeezus. It was some kind of yum. And the fries with rosemary, garlic, and olive oil. Wow. Anyway. Now I’m stuffed. Very good burger. It’s a belly full. Will be back for another one. Oh yeah….. If the giant had not been on the sidewalk showing such enthusiasm for the burgers, I would have never Even noticed the place. Congrats to the big guy. 👍😀“

“This place is a 10/10! The atmosphere and staff were AMAZING!! We came to Louisville for the day to find my wedding dress. After I said yes to the dress we decided to try Mussel and Burger Bar! They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! We are coming back to Louisville for my bachelorette and we will definitely be visiting this place again! The seafood burger was also delicious!“

“Upon walking in @grindburgerkitchen I immediately caught the vibe - new age, hole in the wall burger joint with some killer artistic flair. The ambiance was welcoming and perfectly slow for a Wednesday evening. My good friend Nate and I sat down and conversed over some of the best food I’ve ever had in Louisville. I pulled out my supplies and begin to draw and paint. In his collaborative style, Nate began to snap a few candid photos as I created. Slowly the waitresses notice my work and send a compliment. I explained more about the piece and how I’d like to trade when the General Manager introduces herself and peeks at the piece. She seems quite excited and runs to the back to find something to trade me for the art - a pink disco cup. Thank you, Grind Burger for the amazing food & friendly faces. We’ll be back!“

“I enjoy my meals every time I go to this place. Every thing is always so good, fresh, and cooked to order. I've tried the burgers, fish, and chicken sandwiches and everything is good. I'll take it up a notch and say that probably the best hidden food gem in Louisville. I love their seasoned fries and the turkey burger I had last week was so darn good!“

“On-line seating request worked great. Until we were seated in the heated outside area. Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. Sad because the food is good!“

“they took additional 20% tip on my card when I left 35-40% cash tip. and I marked a line through the tip line. waitresses were complaining about another table not leaving a good tip so I thought I was doing good but apparently 35-40% tip isn't good enough for them. I called the manager and he said he would put it back on my card . so if you go pay cash or check your card. even days after I checked mine that day and was correct 3 days later shows 20% higher. service wasn't bad but definitely not 55% good. we feel really liked the dessert and food ok was gonna go back but when this happened started checking and see a c rating on health inspection. so this was my only encounter with this place“

“The staff there are great. Maddie was an apt and kind server. She and the bartender got our drinks just right. The wings and tots/poutine, so tasty! And I love how you can order just one rib. Each individual bone-in rib is $3, and one was enough to satisfy my curiosity. Delicious! I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich. I wanted something on the lighter side bc I knew I would be eating Christmas dinner twice tomorrow. While family was taking home leftovers from their orders I didn't have any. The turkey was moist and flavorful. I ordered the greens as a side. I love collards but these were a little too fussy. There was smoked meat in them, which I definitely won't complain about but the spice was off and the greens were not cooked long enough. They were kind of tough. Give me greens cooked low and slow, with some jowl bacon, salt and pepper. That combo makes a mighty yummy pot liquor! My husband got the chili. I know I will catch heat on this but I have had better. Definitely not worth the $9.50 price for about a 6-8 oz. serving. Nonetheless our family was happy overall and we were so grateful that they were open and welcoming, giving us a place to hang out and catch up on Christmas eve no less. Happy holidays to the staff!“

“Great food for carnivores and vegetarians. I chose to go while in the area because their menu made specific mention of special consideration for vegetarians. Not only did they make a point of labeling food that was vegetarian, they also had options that could enhance some of the vegetarian dishes. I found the combination of ingredients for the nachos to be really good and the option for fried tofu to be a unique and great choice. I ate way more than I should but they were really good… and had a high level of plant based protein which is hard to find in most vegetarian dishes.“

“Everyone leaving this place 1 star reviews after not getting what you wanted from Uber eats… First, why are you ordering from a Burger King located next to a gas station off Uber eats, and second why are you expecting the service of said place to be superb? Lol it’s a Burger King next to a gas station… lower your expectations maybe, or idk, go to the drive thru yourself. I have had issues here once (the whopper bun was out of stock, so I was substituted a brioche bun with dairy, which I wasn’t able to eat.) but tbh, as it goes, I can’t complain about this location. Nice employees, and usually fast (good) food, which is the whole point. My favorite Burger King in the area. Can’t say what it’s like ordering delivery from here, because I don’t order drive-thru places through delivery services. I can, however, vouch positively for the app and in store purchases. Love an impossible whopper with large fries. Miss the fiery strawberry sprite with a passion. Please bring it back Burger King D: All hail the king“

“I live very close to here and my kids like to go over just to run around.. there is tons of open space and seating on the covered patio n outside area. I have eaten at Jeffs doughnuts, Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers (I haven't eaten here since Bunz has moved to this location but Im quite sure its the same delicious food) and all 3 are super delicious. Jeffs doughnuts is kinda pricey.. for a doughnut i mean and Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers has very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I will for sure be back to try all of the other restaurants.“

They have a real working land line rotary phone!! They also have one of the best old fashioned’s I had in my week stay and at only $8 I rejoiced!! Enter from the back street.
