“It's almost the end of 2024 and I've been having Clean Eatz this entire year. I'd say 90% of everything I've eaten this year has been CE. To say it's been a huge game changer for me is an understatement. I had a stubborn 10lb that wouldn't go away from the Covid years. That was gone in the first couple months. I was also able to set PRs in all distances-5k, 10k, 15k, half marathon and marathon. Having healthy food from Ce definitely played a huge part in that. Prior to this year I'd never ran more than 1200 miles in a year and I'm coming up on 1800 for the year! Also I haven't been sick this entire year where I'm normally sick at least one or two times. It all starts with your diet and I'm so incredibly blessed that I discovered CE.“

“Tonight was our first time at 80/20 Kaelin's and we'll definitely come back. I had the fried chicken and brussel sprouts. Both were excellent but especially the brussel sprouts. Our waiter was phenomenal. I didn't get his name but he was a red haired gentleman. Not only did he make sure we always had what we needed but he kept us laughing. From his favorite football team, to getting cut off by a Packers fan, to what he does (other than being a waiter) for a living. The laughs didn't stop!! That, to me, is priceless. “This place is a 10/10! The atmosphere and staff were AMAZING!! We came to Louisville for the day to find my wedding dress. After I said yes to the dress we decided to try Mussel and Burger Bar! They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! The ambiance was welcoming and perfectly slow for a Wednesday evening. My good friend Nate and I sat down and conversed over some of the best food I’ve ever had in Louisville. I pulled out my supplies and begin to draw and paint. In his collaborative style, Nate began to snap a few candid photos as I created. Slowly the waitresses notice my work and send a compliment. I explained more about the piece and how I’d like to trade when the General Manager introduces herself and peeks at the piece. “I haven't been here in probably 10years. I remember the pizza, particularly the crust being top notch. I believe they've changed the recipe, though it was still very good. I hated that they didn't have a menu, we had to scan the little code on our phone to see what to order and worse we had to scan a separate little code to see the drinks, so I went with water and bypassed one scan. Otherwise, there weren't really any complaints. It was quite busy. Everyone seemed friendly enough and it was your typical sports bar without much memorabilia on the walls. The food was good, ok portions, average prices.“

“I was traveling through and a stranger recommended this place to me. I’m solo and with my dog, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We sat outside, they brought us a water bowl and treats for my pup. And beyond that, the brisket sandwich was the best brisket I’ve had in a long time. It’s not easy being a solo woman traveling with a dog, I’m so glad I found this place. To be able to eat well and have a great experience made my trip extra special. “Recently stopped by with a WDRB “Be Our Guest” voucher and really enjoyed it. They make excellent pub grub and load you up too! Voucher or no voucher, Dagger’z is a damn fine value in terms of quality AND quantity. I’m looking forward to trying the burger but in the meantime, I can safely say their fried chicken sandwich is one of the best around here.

The bar has a solid variety and reasonable pricing. No draft beer, but on the flip side, it’s awesome to see a bar that keeps bottles of Miller Genuine Draft on deck instead of just the usual High Life or Miller Lite. I can definitely see myself wandering back over here after making it rain at Ben’s Bargain Center down the street.“

“We had an event at Upland, in their large banquet room, last week, and it was not a simple set up or take down for us. Anna and the team at Upland allowed us enough access, beforehand, to transform the room into something spectacular. The appetizers and meals were top notch, served buffet style, with beef, chicken, salads, vegetables, potatoes, vegetarian skewers and more. The staff worked hard to accommodate us and the guests were all happy with the food and how we had set everything up. The were a few hiccups, like the bar having limited choices for guests. It was that there were not choices, but better known brands were unavailable, though their own brands were (and some were pretty good). Also, the staff was so stealthy, that we didn’t realize dinner had been served. We also weren’t sure how to turn some lights on when it got darker outside. Those negatives did not have an affect on the overall party and how it was received, though. I give the an 9 out of 10, knowing that those things wouldn’t happen again.“

Here’s the skinny. It was good on the one bite scale. 7.2 all day. Onions were on point and if I am getting down to it the wand soft drink was good. That’s more unusual than anything else.

Atmosphere 5/5. Now remember this is a dive bar. Please do not confuse cleanliness with atmosphere. Again repeat it with me. Dive Bar. Ok with that said it was not gross or anything but I would never go to McDonald’s and expect 5 Guys. I think that’s fair personally.

To summarize if I lived in the area I would happily pop in here over fast food any day other than week. I probably would not drive 45 minutes to try it. However put a pin in it and when you’re on Bardstown road for lunch drop in. Or if you a partying extra hard and need to sober up I think they got you. Or get more beer I ain’t your parent. Cheers!“

“I'm not a barbecue guy but I gotta say that Martin's turned that attitude around really quick. I love the decor and the fact that they have a deck that's half open and half screened in giving you the choice to sit on either side you like. The barbecue was amazing, hands down the best I've ever had, I honestly can't wait to come back - I had the brisket burger and Mac and cheese and it was immaculate. Highly recommend.“

“This was my first time here. My 6yr old and i were hungry after a long day of shopping and stopped in. Our server Syrenity was amazing! She got us some fries to try and their fries are sooooo good and perfectly salted. The ranch was on tier with texas roadhouse and the campfire sauce was a huge standout for us. I got the $9.99 special with a double cheeseburger with fried onion straws and upgraded to sweet potato fries for 2.99 more. It was sooooo good. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Like a roadeo cheeseburger but 10x better. The sweet potato fries were bottomless and so good my 6yr old kept stealing them from me lol. I got only one refill because i was stuffed. The meal also came with bottomless soda, lemonade or tea. My daughter got a kids meal and loved having brocolli as a side. We will definately be back!!! The onion rings coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and cant wait to try some fried pickles. My daughter said it was her new fav place to eat and wants to bring her brothers next time.“
