“ordered online thru their app. we added in the special instructions that we would tip them personally if they loaded it up a bit and could accommodate our preferences, and put our phone number in. we received a text message from one of the employees, Emerson was the name, being the sweetest person ever and letting us know they were gonna hook us up, even sent us a photo while it was being prepared. everything was delicious :) we were actually missing two small items (cookie and chips, happens very often with doordash) and the manager called me personally after i contacted doordash customer service to let me know i would be refunded. i didn’t get her name, but she was super kind, prompt, and professional. props to this team, it’s not easy maintaining such kindness and professionalism in food service sometimes when you get bad customers, rudeness, impatience, etc. these folks nailed it :)“

“The employees here are always nice and do an excellent job. They care about their customers enough to even remember what some of their preferences are. That's not necessarily expected, so it is above and beyond good service. They always get a tip from me. I live around the corner from another subway, but I'll drive here instead. It's a complete, 100% opposite experience than what I receive at their Charlestown Crossing store. The employees here at the county road 311 location are awesome.“

In particular, I was blown away by the great customer service of an employee by the name of Tyler. From start to finish, Tyler was courteous and ensured my sandwich was made with care, while adhering to all food safety standards — something that is less and less common these days. While having a pleasant conversation, I could see very clearly that Tyler will be a great manager or supervisor someday. Great experience at Penn Station on State Street! Everyone working was friendly, kind, and clearly putting in the effort—they were moving fast and working hard to keep things running smoothly.

The food was fresh and tasted great, and I really appreciated that the staff checked to make sure I had everything I needed. That level of service makes a big difference.

“This location is close to my work, so I order there quite often. My orders are always correct and fast, even with delivery during lunchtime. Employees have always been polite. However, it feels like an oven inside this restaurant. These employees desperately need their A/C fixed. Dining in is not a pleasant experience when it is so uncomfortably warm.“
