“We can’t say enough about Sam’s! Not only is it one of our favorite places to go and eat, we recently did a catering order for a family get together. Not only was the food prepared with the utmost care, but the cost was so affordable it was not worth us cooking ourselves! We can’t say enough good things about the staff, as they are always friendly and courteous and go above and beyond! The chicken tenders, salad, cheese and fruit tray that we got for our family get together was perfect! And when we were all finished, there was nothing left! Thank you all for always providing a wonderful experience whether we are there or getting an order to go!“

“Worst place ever I went with my friend and they did not take care of us because we are Latinos we waited 15 minutes and they only brought some chips and then when I was leaving I had to pay 25 dollars for the chips.“

“Had an amazing experience at The Mayan Cafe! Their food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with allergies. The staff was knowledgeable and made sure everything was safe for me. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.“
“Our tour guide Rebecca was a real pro — enthusiastic and entertaining. The kinda girl you want to enjoy a Michters cocktail with to hear about the inner workings of their whisky— which is absolutely top notch. Big thanks to her for the great tour.“

“We had dinner at Brendon’s for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were welcoming and made our anniversary feel special. The experience was perfect! If you’re looking for something extra special, you just found it!“
“Angel’s Envy is absolutely stunning – both inside and out. From the moment you step through the doors, you’re surrounded by a warm, polished atmosphere that feels intimate yet world-class.
The tour itself was outstanding. Our guide was impeccable – knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the craft. The entire experience was informative, interactive, and full of fascinating details about the bourbon and whiskey-making process. I left feeling like I truly understood and appreciated the artistry behind each bottle.
The tasting was the perfect finale – the pairing with chocolates was nothing short of incredible. It elevated the flavors in a way I’ll never forget.
Cons? The only thing I’d mention is that the gift shop merchandise felt a bit excessively expensive. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience in the slightest.
Would I come back? Absolutely. This is a bourbon destination worth revisiting again and again.“

“We loved the friendly service, great food and quick food delivery. We had the chicken biscuit with gravy and omelet plus bloody marys and coffee. Thank you- we will return!!“
“Coming here was a last-minute decision, but it turned out to be the best one while in Louisville. This distillery is simply awesome. Lots of amazing whiskeys to taste and buy.
They have two types of tour experiences, and we opted for the one that let us try two whiskeys each from a selection of about a dozen options vs. the guided tasting of four set pours. I forget our guide's name since this was a few weeks ago, but it was an excellent experience. It was just the three of us and our guide in small room where he explained every whiskey in the lineup. All six pours in total were amazing and we walked away with four unique bottles only available directly at the distillery.
If I find myself back in Louisville, I'd absolutely love to return.“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“
“A very informative tour. David was our tour guide and did a great job explaining the production process. He also was outstanding in leading the flight tasting at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend this experience for both the experienced bourbon aficionado and the person just starting out. I highly recommend this tour.“

“This place is a 10/10! The atmosphere and staff were AMAZING!! We came to Louisville for the day to find my wedding dress. After I said yes to the dress we decided to try Mussel and Burger Bar! They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! We are coming back to Louisville for my bachelorette and we will definitely be visiting this place again! The seafood burger was also delicious!“

“I've been to Stitzel Weller twice now, and I can say that it is my favorite spot on the bourbon trail (even better than makers mark). This place oozes history, it's less of a working distillery tour (although there is a micro still that still produces bourbon on site) and more of a love letter to bourbon history. The tour is a great look at the rise, fall, and comeback of American whiskey over the past 100 years. The blade and bow brand is a great bourbon, and the garden and gun club upstairs is my favorite distillery bar. Highly recommend even if it's just a stop to see the visitors center and garden and gun club! You won't regret it!“
“20 years at the playhouse and tonight’s dinner was the worst! The sides were half cooked and not the usual The salad bar was depleted and the choices were wilted looking like leftovers. The salad bar looked like the scene of a food fight. Gross! How is in charge now? Great fried chicken and fish as usual. So disappointing“

“Friday night date night and it doesn’t disappoint. Had the barrel aged double bock and the imperial stout, and of course the excellent pizza and salad. Great place to start the weekend.“
“Had a great time on what ended up being a private tour for my wife and I since no one else signed up. I'd give it 5 stars if this were Yelp. Really interesting story on their more recent challenges and how they have thrived/survived. They have some great whiskeys to try and some of their unique finished stuff is incredible. If I had one complaint, it would be the plastic tasting cups.“

“Our first time going here and definitely not our last. The food was simply amazing and the service was excellent. Hubby and I shared the cheese sticks , he ordered the chicken pasta (that’s not the exact name ) and I ordered the shrimp and grits with the fried okra on the side. We tend to be picky eaters but wanted to step out of our comfort zone and we are so glad we did. Literally some of the most delicious food we ever had. We even ordered dessert ! I got the beignets cause why not and my husband got the banana cheesecake. 10/10 recommend“

“Louisville staple! Delicious fish and fries. The fish is thick and not too much breading. Definitely get your moneys worth! Don’t forget to get the onions on your sandwich. So good! Look forward to it every year on Saturdays. Make sure you get there before they run out!!“

“The Red Yeti is one of our favorite restaurants, and tonight was terrific, as usual. Our server, Natalie did a wonderful job, with prompt, friendly care that was timed just right without being bothersome. Larry's brisket and side salad were delicious and filling. My hot brown was yummy, with ample fresh-tasting turkey and a wonderful sauce that pulled the other ingredients together. Of course, I took half of it home. Even so, Natalie brought us the special dessert, persimmon ice cream, with two spoons. Another great experience@ Thanks, Red Yeti@“

“Whenever we visit an area we like to try the foods that are distinct to it. In the case of Louisville this meant a hot brown and derby pies. We were surprised and relieved to be able to get into the cafe for lunch without too much difficulty. My wife and I split the hot brown. It was sooo good! The turkey part of the meal was so thick that we originally thought it was bread. As for the derby pie I personally didn't like it all that much but my wife did. It seems I'm not a pecan/almond pie person. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and you could tell it was full of a lot of history. The service was generally good, but I wasn't given a refill of water until after we had finished our meal and were ready to leave.“

Idk if it's and original recipe or not but I know one thing for Shure, me and my sis were for sure satisfied! Ty Double Dragon II for the delicious food! Hope I can come again soon 🤩“

“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“

“I previously would recommend this restraunt but Friday evening after I had finished my meal and waiting to pay the check a roach crawled on the table. The waitress was more upset than the manager who I felt should have personally came to the table and addressed the issue. He took 20% off the bill but didn't address the fact a roach crawled on the table, which to me says this wasn't the first incident. I will bit be eatting here in the future and thus restraunt definitely needs an inspection.“

“I was surprised and pleased to find an Ethiopian restaurant within walking distance of the hotel (Omni Louisville). Went with a group of colleagues and we had a wonderful time.
We were a party of 10 so made a reservation. They were ready for us when we arrived. The food options were plentiful. I had the Beef Tibs (mild) and they were very tasty and well spiced. The lentil sambusas were also excellent and for dessert the biggest piece of baclava I’ve ever seen.
Unfortunately I don’t live in Louisville but if I’m ever in town again I will be back.“

“Bob was the best tour guide! You’re lucky if you get him to show you around and tell stories. He was fun and engaging. As a history teacher I do wish the distillery tour acknowledged the role of slavery/Evan Williams owning slaves, but overall I’d recommend the tour and especially all the tasty bourbon! 🥃“

“On-line seating request worked great. Until we were seated in the heated outside area. Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. Sad because the food is good!“

“I love Wild Eggs and my go to server at the Jeffersonville location! Sadly, I was disappointed for the first time today due to the lack of cleanliness of the booth we were seated at. There are A LOT of old food pieces and crumbs all around the seat between the vinyl and wood. Even our host noticed it and attempted to clean up with a well-used bar mop towel. Needless to say, I immediately washed my legs and changed shorts when I got home after sitting on all that. These restaurants need to stop cutting servers and igniting safe sanitation practices to save a buck! Pay your team a true wage to clean. Thank you!“

“Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the restaurant. Food was delicious, staffs hospitality and their service was excellent and cleanliness, taste and items selection was great including the price. I personally had ordered chicken fry and shrimp beer batter fry, it was a great choice. We enjoyed our time and enjoyed our meals there. 4 stars is high bar for my rating so don't worry, between 4-5 to me is there is always a room for restaurants to improve in any area and I'm sure Cheddar's is always striving to offer best to its loyal customers. Regardless, everything was great.“

“I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.
I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.
They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.
This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.
I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.
I will definitely come back and try their curry.“
