“Let’s start with atmosphere. It was well kept with nice decor but I wouldn’t consider it fancy. We ordered the lebnah, liver mousse, and tuna tar tar. The mousse was the clear favorite out of the 3 amongst us. The tar tar was a bit over seasoned with chili or cumin. For the main, we got chicken shawarma and lamb meguez. They were quality and well cooked, but lacking that pop for the price. Overall, I would recommend this place to friends and family for its variety and ethnic background. However, it is a bit pricey.“

Michters by far was our favorite, Jacob did an amazing job describing there process and the details that Michters follow to deliver an amazing product to us. My Boss reached out to Jacqueline and she went above and beyond to schedule time for us to pour our own bottles which is something as a bourbon/ whiskey lover will always cherish. I can’t say enough about Michters Fort Nelson between Jacqueline and Jacob they definitely made our birthday bourbon tour the best we could have ever imagined. If you’re planning a trip on the bourbon trail we truly recommend Michters above all on bourbon row.

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“

“My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic time at the chocolate and bourbon tasting at Stitzel-Weller Distillery. Our guide, Jean, was incredibly knowledgeable about both the bourbons and chocolates we were tasting, as well as the rich history behind the distillery. We learned so much from Jean, who was very patient and answered all of our questions. Both of us loved the chocolates and bourbons, and even my partner, who isn't a big bourbon fan, enjoyed sampling the bourbons after tasting the chocolates. We truly enjoyed our time at Stitzel-Weller Distillery and highly recommend the experience.“

“We were staying at the Brown Hotel and decided to have breakfast at the renowned J. Graham Café. While they offered a full buffet, we opted instead to order an omelette with orange juice. My friend saw the mural on the exterior of the building from a block away as I exclaimed, “that’s where we are going!” The food was exquisite. Presentation was a notch above. “I don’t often leave reviews but absolutely had to for my experience tonight. The show was absolutely incredible. Every aspect of Sweeney Todd was spot on. The use of space, the actors, the effects, immaculate. I honestly didn’t expect much from the food, no particular reason just figured it would be a run of the mill buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we tried was amazing and both my date and myself had two full plates. As for the service, amazing, both the staff doing seating and waiting tables, friendly, engaging, helpful and accommodating. All parts made this an amazing date night to remember. This was our first time going but definitely not our last.“

“I previously would recommend this restraunt but Friday evening after I had finished my meal and waiting to pay the check a roach crawled on the table. The waitress was more upset than the manager who I felt should have personally came to the table and addressed the issue. He took 20% off the bill but didn't address the fact a roach crawled on the table, which to me says this wasn't the first incident. I will bit be eatting here in the future and thus restraunt definitely needs an inspection.“

“My boyfriend and I drive out of town about 40 minutes because this is our absolute favorite spot! The ambiance is wonderful, service is always nothing but great, and the fish is DELICIOUS!! The freshest sushi I’ve ever tasted in the area. The escolar is always a go to. I happily spend a decent amount here and take a roll home as well. Charlie has always been our server, by coincidence but he is always on top of it!! I can tell this business has a great team by how well everything comes out. Servers don’t auction off items, everyone is super polite, food comes out in a timely manner. I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently seen, for the most part, the same servers and that says A LOT in the service industry! Keep doing you guys!“

“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!“

“For the price I thought it was awesome. Other places charge you near double and you only get 3 tastings. Here you get 4. I didn’t mind some of the automated and video part of the tour. Our tour guide was Bill, and he was funny and knowledgeable, but you can tell he has said what he is saying to us a million times. Poor guy. Either way, I learned a lot, and I don’t need more than 45 minutes tour. I really loved we got to drink the 12 yr red bottle. It was great.“

Our server was very attentive but not overwhelmingly present. I ordered the ribeye. It was served in a reasonable amount of time, fresh, cooked perfectly (medium well) and seasoned well which was surprising. I wish I had substituted the fries for something else but didn't see alternative sides options listed on the menu. The fish and chips were really good as well, would definitely recommend. Also we tried the honey butter cornbread due to the reviews yet yes, it was tasty but wasn't my favorite. Overall, very nice establishment, not to mention professional and friendly staff. I would consider returning.“
