“This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I cannot believe it's just right in the middle of downtown Hobart. Every dish we ordered was superb, and our server was incredibly careful about my food allergies. I highly recommend the ceviche verde and the filete la marinera. My spouse had the paella and loved it, as well. This is up there with the best restaurants I've ever been to across the entire country, and I do not feel like I'm exaggerating to say it. I only wish we lived closer!“

“Just finished an early dinner as my first experience with Cajun Crab House. It was outstanding! I had 6 raw oysters along with the Deep Fried Catfish and my son had a Crab Cake appetizer and Shrimp linguine. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in a while. Even better than the food was the service. I have problems with spicy food due to chemo and Ciara, our server, went out of her way to check the spice level of the food I had ordered. Several trips to and from the kitchen and I picked the Catfish…..perfect choice. I have no problem with anything. Was one of the better experiences I’ve had“

“We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. And even thought it was all packagesd as take out, there were three tables available to sit and eat. It worked for us! Great job S&G! It's a well-earned 5 star review!“

“I go every Wednesday for the 1 pound shrimp and I have to say they are the best tasting shrimp I've had this far. The size of the shrimp are huge with a nice flaky batter that gives a flavorful taste. I have my family going there as well for great tasting seafood!!!“

“I saw video on tik tok, so I went. I got the shrimp and the perch just like the guy on tik tok. The shrimp were really good, not a lot of heavy batter, but that perch had no seasoning at all. I was highly disappointed with the perch. Will I drive to Gary again for it,probably not. You go and get those shrimp. Service is good and the sitting area is clean, and you dont wait long for your food.“

“Had never eaten here before attending a memorial lunch for a family member yesterday.Wonderful buffet,many choices-we had perch,beef and roasted chicken.Fresh veggies,good salad,roasted redskins,excellent rolls and very good ice cream for dessert.Table service was excellent,our waitress was friendly and professional,and we did not feel rushed(you know how people linger to chat at gatherings like this) .I highly recommend this venue and will be trying their restaurant again.Also had very clean bathrooms! “We randomly stopped here on our way home for a quick bite to eat and to avoid Chicago rush hour. We ordered the Italian beef. Let me just say IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It was super yummy! I spoke with a cook and they cook it overnight. Our server Mandy was friendly and took good care of us. Food was great and cheap compared to many other places. The atmosphere was laid back. I definitely would come back again just to eat. Seriously, if you want good food or a good sandwich. Stop and get their Italian beef!“

“An intimate setting for size. I will say their menu is extensive. You could bring a diverse group here and most would find something they wanted to eat. The pizza I had was ok, I have a feeling it would have been better on a larger sized crust. The fettuccine was good enough I suppose but the Alfredo sauce was sweet which wasn't quite my thing. If I could have done it over again I would have ordered something different. The staff was wonderful which I feel like was really the best part of the experience. If you are looking for a location to eat and don't want to get tied into a set menu this place could help you out in a pinch.

“First time here. Ordered 1/2 lb. perch, clam strips and shrimp. Very fresh and good tasting. Perch breading has a welcome slight 'kick' to it, but does not overwhelm the perch flavor. Probably the best perch around, and at a reasonable price. The shrimp and clam strips were also very good. Will be back. Five Stars.“

Parking: Only a few spots directly in front, but they basically share a parking lot with a grocery store, so there's plenty of parking close enough.“
