Store could use some updating (but I did like the classic look of it) only gave 4 stars on service due to the staff looking at you as if I was walking in 3 minutes till close. When they was still open for another 3 hours. Not the friendliest of staff but not bad enough to complain either. The order taker did indeed bring my food to the table instead of hollering out a reciept# (very kind) restrooms could use some serious help mainly in esthetics cleanliness of them was just slightly under average.“
“As far as atmosphere this is a takeout fish establishment so that really cannot be critiqued. That said it’s a Friday during lent things were a little crazy, chaotic and backed up..However, the politeness of the employees and absolute phenomenal taste of the lake perch and lightly breaded shrimp were well worth the wait!!!!“

“Amazing food! Sunday’s there’s a big buffet and everything we had was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere felt like I was back in the Philippines. They even have karaoke!!! Too bad we live 5 hrs away but totally worth the drive. Will be our main Filipino spot from here on out. The owners were so kind and welcoming. Wanted to stay longer but we had a long drive. Highly recommend to Filipino’s that want to not only to eat authentic filipino food, but also for the vibe. 10/10!!!“

“Hidden Gem steak restaurant in Valparaiso! Excellent service and food for our first time at this lovely find! Our server Julia was excellent and kind. We ordered French onion soup to start and it was very good with lots of flavor!For our entrees we orders the 8 oz filet cooked to our liking with a loaded baked potato. Dessert was excellent as we ordered Crème Brûlée and Tiramisu. The Tiramisu plate was almost too beautiful to eat!The atmosphere was quaint and quiet!We already made reservations to return!“

“We are from Michigan, down for a softball tournament. I sat in my hotel room for 15 minutes trying to find something "different" the Rib Tips were awesome! My daughter loved her burger, the employees were very friendly and nice, and the owner may have been the coolest guy I've ever met. I had a 10 minute conversation with him about life of all things before we left. What a great restaurant“

“Updated Review:Found an excellent new favorite that we will be coming back for. The Admirals Feast. Made up of 2 excellent flounder filets. 5 or 6 large fantail shrimp, a dozen or so excellent bay scallops and multitude of excellent clam strips. All the preceding are excellently coated and perfectly fried. All this comes with a fabulously prepared baked potato and their great cheddar baked biscuits. Additionally our waitress Theresa was excellent. She was friendly and personable, and met all our needs.Now if they just reintroduced the Walleye this place would be fantasticSept 18, 2023.They no longer offer Walleye on the menu, which is the only reason I frequented Red Lobster.We had the fish and chips substituting a baked potato for the fries. The fish was battered cod, which was good; However serving only one small piece of about 5 ounces for $18 is a total ripoff. More like an appetizer instead of a main dinner course. Coleslaw was inedible, tasted like they used sour cream instead of salad dressing, no tang. The tarter sauce was bad, no tang It's called tartar sauce because it is suppose to have some tang, either vinegar or lemon in it!Luckily the biscuits and baked potato were excellent.They are suppose to be a seafood place? Why are the shrimp so small, size of krill. And the lobster tail they serve an small and tough.Also a true seafood place has a bigger variety of fish like Walleye, Grouper, Sea Bass, Red Snapper, Sole, Haddock,Jumbo Shrimp.There are carry out places in the area like Shrimp Express, Simply Seafood and Bobs Shrimp that serve way better Shrimp and Fish“

“Just got out of the hospital and didn't feel like cooking. My husband decided that we would give Taphouse a try. Boy am I glad we decided to try this little gem. The service was fast, friendly, and the food was phenomenal!!!We had the prime rib dinner that came with a salad and baked potato. Everything was just awesome!
