“Ok...my Aunt Barb insisted we come here after she'd had been here more than several times. Raving about how good everything was! No disappointments! Oh my! 5 of us, tasting everything...sharing IS caring. Happy tastbuds all around. Service terrific. Just opening the door you are greeted wirh the splendid aroma. We live out of town an hour and a half but...shall be back. Thank you so much!!“

“Just finished an early dinner as my first experience with Cajun Crab House. It was outstanding! I had 6 raw oysters along with the Deep Fried Catfish and my son had a Crab Cake appetizer and Shrimp linguine. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in a while. Even better than the food was the service. I have problems with spicy food due to chemo and Ciara, our server, went out of her way to check the spice level of the food I had ordered. Several trips to and from the kitchen and I picked the Catfish…..perfect choice. I have no problem with anything. Was one of the better experiences I’ve had“

“We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. And even thought it was all packagesd as take out, there were three tables available to sit and eat. It worked for us! Great job S&G! It's a well-earned 5 star review!“

“A friend recommended Las Jacarandas for great Mexican food in the area. We ordered a ton of items to take out. Was not disappointed whatsoever! Tried an assortment of items (chile relleno dinner, variety of tacos such as beef, fish, steak, pork, chorizo, chicken mole) and everything was excellent! The sides (rice, refried beans) and the sauces were all excellent and better than any other Mexican restaurant. Cannot wait to eat in next time!..This place rocks!!“

“I go every Wednesday for the 1 pound shrimp and I have to say they are the best tasting shrimp I've had this far. The size of the shrimp are huge with a nice flaky batter that gives a flavorful taste. I have my family going there as well for great tasting seafood!!!“

“My first time there and it definitely won’t be the last! The food and service were impeccable! Quite the variety of food on the menu. Ordered the trio with an extra crab cluster and it was fantastic! The waitress was very attentive throughout the meal. If you haven’t tried this place out yet, you’re missing out!“
“Had never eaten here before attending a memorial lunch for a family member yesterday.Wonderful buffet,many choices-we had perch,beef and roasted chicken.Fresh veggies,good salad,roasted redskins,excellent rolls and very good ice cream for dessert.Table service was excellent,our waitress was friendly and professional,and we did not feel rushed(you know how people linger to chat at gatherings like this) .I highly recommend this venue and will be trying their restaurant again.Also had very clean bathrooms! Located in the Innsbruck Country club.“

“We stopped in for our first time tonight and will definitely be back. They have a full menu or you can visit on Sunday for the buffet. If you're not familiar with Filipino cuisine do go for the buffet, you'll get to try so many delicious dishes!“

“Cute interior. The seafood boil was delicious! Drinks were good. It's a little different because you order your food at the bar and pay in advance (good idea actually) but then you get all your own supplies (silverware, straws, and your own waters). So it was truly a different experience but it was overall very pleasant, laid-back, and a nice change of pace.“

“Haven't had rays since I was about 8 and I'm 43 now.
Went back home to Gary to pick up my daughter and had to stop in and get a pound and a half of there shrimp dipped in mild sauce and drove three hours back home very much satisfied.“

“I ordered the lobster tail, crab legs and shrimp combo (steamed not fried) and it was fantastic. It came with two corn and one potato. I believe it was seasoned with old bay and the garlic butter was great. The hush puppies are perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside.“

“Friendly staff and great food! Stopped in to pick up some lunch to go and had the best salad I’ve had in a while. Ordered the jerk chicken salad and it was awesome. Lettuce was super fresh and crisp, chicken was seasoned well, and the jerk ranch was awesome and I don’t even like ranch 😂 Definitely recommend!“

“I want to give a special thank-you to Ruby, the manager at El Capitan Mexican Restaurant, for her exceptional help in making my friend’s day so memorable. She went out of her way to accommodate us with special seating arrangements — and made sure everything was perfect for us!! Her kindness and flexibility truly stood out!
The service overall wasn’t the best that day, as they were unusually short-staffed, which made things move a little slower. Still, the food was good as usual, and Ruby’s genuine care and extra effort really made the overall experience positive as we all had a great time! Just wish mariachis sang longer!! Always nice hearing them !!
We are regulars here and I highly recommend El Capitan and look forward to coming back!“

“Top notch seafood. Service is always really cheery and helpful. The jumbo shrimp are by far the best I have ever had. Screw ol man red lobster. Shark jumbo shrimp are prob like 4x the size. And they are quality. Firm flesh with a great crunch. I'm sure some ppl complain about the prices but I don't mind when it's for this level of fare.“

“Great fast food, especially for an area with very few options. They're always fast and usually very fresh. Definitely ask for their lemon pepper, especially on the fries! It's not the regular spice, and it's really delicious on fried stuff.
Parking: Only a few spots directly in front, but they basically share a parking lot with a grocery store, so there's plenty of parking close enough.“

“I ordered last minute for a group of 20. He took my order, checked stock to make sure he was able to fill it, and gave me the cost. We set a time for pick up and it was ready when I arrived. The food was very good and the service was excellent.“

“First time here. Ordered 1/2 lb. perch, clam strips and shrimp. Very fresh and good tasting. Perch breading has a welcome slight 'kick' to it, but does not overwhelm the perch flavor. Probably the best perch around, and at a reasonable price. The shrimp and clam strips were also very good. Will be back. Five Stars.“
