“We recommend Salt on Mass for its incredible consistency. The experience is always welcoming and forever delicious. My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. The restaurant has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere without feeling overly formal, which made it perfect for a nice dinner together. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that a lot of attention goes into both the ingredients and the way each dish is prepared.
The service was also excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional without making us feel rushed. We were able to relax, enjoy our dinner, and have a really nice evening together.
I also loved that the menu has plenty of options while still feeling thoughtful rather than overwhelming. And definitely save room for dessert!

The atmosphere felt classic, welcoming, and full of history, which made the evening feel even more special. - The Fried Green Tomatoes, Duck Gnocchi, and Crawfish Pasta were EXCELLENT! Highly recommend ordering again

- Cocktails are a 10/10 - if you are eating here, I recommend you go the cocktail vs wine route!
- We sat down at 6:30 and did not have a waitress stop by until after 6:45. In addition, we did not place our mains until 7:30 as our waitress did not pop by a ton, and ended our evening at 8:30 after eating our food when placed on our table at 8pm
- The ambiance is cozy and vibey, but I think you could use warmer lighting overall to really cozy up the place!

Overall, we will return, but will be mindful of ordering as many Oysters as we did and there is room for improvement for a better service experience!“

“I've been wanting to go here for awhile! on an early Saturday afternoon, we finally went. everyone was very pleasant and patient with our family (toddler and infant.) although we didn't have to use the changing table in the bathroom, it was appreciated that they had one. the service was prompt and the food was absolutely delicious. we had the pulled pork sandwich, salmon salad, and kids Mac and cheese with beans/rice. no complaints! our waitress Sue was fantastic. we will be back!“
