My company does our annual Holiday party at Catch and their private room is a sports bar in itself. It’s perfect.

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Caribbean Roots to deliver food for an event of 120 people, and I was impressed by their professionalism, organization, and the quality of their food. We ordered the Dominican chicken quarters and the cilantro lime coleslaw. Everything was packaged perfectly for transport, and the entire order was ready on time. The staff was friendly and efficient, and it was clear they take pride in what they do. The feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive — everyone loved the food! “Our new favorite restaurant in Crown Point! Julia was an amazing server. Knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. I highly recommend The Dip and Potroast sandwiches. The fish and chips was amazing. Everything was scratch made and it showed. Don’t skip the tater tots or the truffle fries. The Desert Bloom cocktail was delicious. We left fat and happy!“

“What I love about Provecho is the inventive flavors, small plates options, and delicious craft cocktails all set in a gorgeous restaurant with excellent service. I love the seasonality of menu and plethora of interesting options. Most recently we enjoyed the Wagyu Albondiga, Pork Tostadas, Chicken Skewers with Blueberry Salsa, Filet with Winter Squash, Potatas Bravas, and the Fried Plantains. The flavors were bright and complex and absolutely delicious! For dessert, we had the tres leches and the coconut creme brule which was so uniquely plated and tasted absolutely divine. Provecho is our favorite date-night and special occasion spot. I can't recommend it enough!“

“After several visits I can recommend Off Square Brewing for good beer and good food. The smoked coffee dry rub wings are a real stand out! The pizzas are good too. On the weekends only they serve smoked brisket which is also very good. I attended a Trivia night here and we had a lot of fun. I recommend support of this local small business.“

“Was there last Friday. Food and service were excellent. They were out of the Stagg bourbon that I ordered…which was priced at $30 a pour. The waiter asked if I would like to substitute EH Taylor Small Batch instead…which is priced at $17 per pour in the menu. I said that would be fine. I watched them bring the bottle out which I recognized as Small Batch. The bourbon was excellent. Received my bill and was charged the $30 for the Stagg. Pointed it out to the waiter and he said oh no, the bourbon we substituted for you is priced much higher at $47 a pour and we gave that to you for the same price since we were out of the Stagg. I said, no you gave me the EH Taylor Small Batch which is priced at $17 on the menu. He said no I don’t think so. I said can you please ask the bartender what she poured, she said it was the small batch. They whispered back and forth a bit and she told me that I should take advantage of that bill adjustment…like I got a deal when all I wanted was to be charged according to what the menu stated. In the end our waiter was apologetic, adjusted our bill correctly, and was very friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. Just seemed a bit fishy to me. I don’t know everything about bourbon but, I do some hunting and would never pay $30 let alone $47 a pour for Taylor small batch.“

“I had been traveling the European continent and longed for a taste of Bavaria and stopped into New Oberpfalz. The dining area and bar are relatively small but cozy. The service is absolutely magnificent- my server stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was to my luck...and indeed it was! The size and taste of the schnitzel was amazing and the beers hit the right spot“

If you are looking for a taste that gives you a nostalgic feeling like you’re sitting in your grandmas kitchen on a Sunday, THIS IS IT! I think this is a hidden gem. This place deserves more attention. Food was so good, I tried to sample it in store and ended up sitting down and eating the entire meal and ordered more food to take home. The buffalo sauce had an amazing homemade taste. Again everything was so good I’m excited for my next visit. I plan on ordering the rib tips. I also Had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Sharon she was sweet and hospitable.“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

It's off-putting, makes it seem more cramped, it's awkward, and uncomfortable. Reorganize if need be but make us all hoppy and bring back the high-tops.“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“

“I always use the drive-thru for my visits. The drive-thru is situated in a weird spot where cars end up blocking one of the parking entrance/exit (and the bank next door).

The service was quick and the food is always made to order, therefore ensuring it's hot and fresh.“
