I let him know the napkins were empty and after re-filling them he thought to bring napkins to our table. That might sound like an obvious next step, but I have found this to be a rare attribute in a lot of restaurant employees, to go the extra mile. He checked in with our table regularly to ensure we had what we needed, and also offered to clear our table when finished. These little things are reasons that my family loves coming to Buona. The fries were cooked to perfection, with an ideal balance of ranch and cheese, accompanied by outstanding bacon. I appreciate the family-run aspect of the business. For authentic Chicago flavors, including beef hot dogs and Italian Beefs, Depot Hot Dogs is a recommended destination. They also offer items for dogs. Their support for the Humane Society is commendable, demonstrating consideration for both customers and their pets. While new menu items are available, their exceptional bacon cheese fries stand out. “18th Street Brewery has excellent craft and Rye! Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed the Pilsner. Support this Woman Owned Business and buy local. We’ll try the food next time. The bar keep Bruce was a lot of fun too! I highly recommend 18th Street Brewery in Miller Beach for craft brewed beer and distilled spirits.“

“Was there last Friday. Food and service were excellent. They were out of the Stagg bourbon that I ordered…which was priced at $30 a pour. The waiter asked if I would like to substitute EH Taylor Small Batch instead…which is priced at $17 per pour in the menu. I said that would be fine. I watched them bring the bottle out which I recognized as Small Batch. The bourbon was excellent. Received my bill and was charged the $30 for the Stagg. Pointed it out to the waiter and he said oh no, the bourbon we substituted for you is priced much higher at $47 a pour and we gave that to you for the same price since we were out of the Stagg. I said, no you gave me the EH Taylor Small Batch which is priced at $17 on the menu. He said no I don’t think so. I said can you please ask the bartender what she poured, she said it was the small batch. They whispered back and forth a bit and she told me that I should take advantage of that bill adjustment…like I got a deal when all I wanted was to be charged according to what the menu stated. In the end our waiter was apologetic, adjusted our bill correctly, and was very friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. Just seemed a bit fishy to me. I don’t know everything about bourbon but, I do some hunting and would never pay $30 let alone $47 a pour for Taylor small batch.“

“The food was phenomenal! I love Reubens and was excited to try theirs. Smokey and full of flavor, the smoke on it was just the right amount and meat was fall apart tender and not fatty at all. The peach sangria was the best white sangria I’ve had in a long time, not too sweet with a bit of citrus, my only regret was not ordering the bottle because it was 1/2 price bottles! Our server was very attentive, offering us suggestions and options when needed and checked in frequently to make sure we were ok. ( the kind of service you’d like but very rarely get anywhere anymore) Overall 10/10 and will definitely be back- Kids were happy with the kids menu, all the usuals were available“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

It's off-putting, makes it seem more cramped, it's awkward, and uncomfortable. Reorganize if need be but make us all hoppy and bring back the high-tops.“
