“My wife and I had dinner there to celebrate our 63rd anniversary. She had the steak and shrimp while I had the shrimp duo (grilled and fried shrimp). The only minor complaints were the croutons on the salad were very salty and the shrimp (all of them) were slightly overcooked. (Not unusual in the midwest) Although we told her not to, the manager took them off the bill. Our server, Lorenzo, was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very good evening. The Chandon champagne splits were VERY reasonable.“

“Culvers is always a great spot to grab a quick bite or swing by for dinner! Great food, great prices, and a good atmosphere. It seems to always be busy with an occasional wait time.. They have good Wisconsin Cheese Curds.. and I always and end up getting the Butter Burger - its greasy, but it's so good! Definitely recommend if you’re hankerin for a great spot to eat!“

“Googled recommended this place when we were looking for somewhere new to try... but I will say we were not disappointed! The service was prompt and friendly, with nice recommendations toward the menu. The food was great! I had AYCE fish (hake) and it was delicious! The breading was nice and light, so you could actually taste the fish. My hubs had fried chicken and he enjoyed that as well! The best part was the cheese and crackers they brought out with our soup... well definitely come back!“

“I would give them 5 stars but they don't have a driving range. You must tee off crossing the St. Joseph river on 4 holes and the course is beautiful. It is for accurate golfers or those with plenty of extra golf balls for sure. One of my favorite courses in a 6 county area.“

From the moment we arrived, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable evening. I started with a Bloody Mary, which was perfectly spiced and refreshing. For dinner, I chose the Bison meatloaf with bourbon, demi-glaze, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. The flavors were rich, comforting, and balanced, making every bite memorable. My husband opted for the chicken pot pie, and it was equally delicious with a flaky crust, hardy filling, and packed with flavor. Everything we tried was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The attention to detail, cozy ambiance, And excellent service made the night feel special. “I've came here a fair amount of times for both breakfast and dinner since I was a kid, but never wrote a review until now. I stop by for breakfast before church once in a while and yesterday was the best service I've ever had here! My Jumbalaya pancake dish was ready within minutes and was absolutely delicious! My server was super friendly and very helpful as well. I look forward to making this a regular Sunday Breakfast spot. P.S. I highly recommend the Jumbalaya!“

“We have visited before and knew we would have to wait on a football weekend. We got seated very promptly at a high top in the bar(we like)! The waitress was sweet and delivered good service. The guys had bison meatloaf and it was very salty. (previously it was really good, so my husband recommended it this visit). I had the fish special and it was cooked perfectly. Other dish was a pasta dish and she loved it. Good flavor. We had a very nice time. Food and service very good and we did not have high expectations being it was ND football weekend. Only reason for 1 rating down was the disappointing meatloaf. So more like 4 1/2 stars!“

“We always prefer locally owned business es. The owner here is so friendly to everyone. We are always greated with a hello and a smile.
The wait staff is always accommodating too.
The food comes out fast and fresh. The building is old but that maybe part of the charm.“

“Great food, excellent service, and a unique atmosphere featuring large wicker style fans and a fish tank. Plus, you can easily pay your bill using the tabletop ordering system. The honey butter croissants are a must try!

Parking: Plenty of free parking around the entire building. Usually I have no problem finding parking right in the front.

Kid-friendliness: Always see kids of all ages from new born babies to 80+ year olds. All are welcome in this establishment. Larger restaurant with plenty of space.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap spaces in the front directly next to the front door of the restaurant.“

“Other than the fact that they were bringing out the main course before my brother and I were done eating our soup and salad , on a Sunday noon hour ..
The manager came by and said they try to get stuff out quick during lunch hours, so folks can get back to work..
I stated that it being Sunday most patrons were off work...
He said "well lm working", which l thought was a very snide remark to say to a customer 😠.“

“Service was excellent. Quick and on time. Food was mostly good. Had breakfast and the only complaint I have is the hash brown potatoes were severely under cooked. Barley browned on one side and the rest was like mashed potatoes.
My whole wheat toast was forgotten about but was brought to the table within 5 minutes.
Was mostly good and will definitely try it again.“

“Except from the bartenders being a little too rude for no reason sometimes, That Place Bar is a very beautiful environment. Just make sure you have your ID always even if you’re feeling like a regular, cause you might not know which side of bed the bartenders woke up from that day lol. Love the pool tournaments they host Fridays through Sundays, it’s always fun and entertaining. Not to mention the karaoke on Fridays too, overall you won’t be disappointed.“

“Generally good food, they do need to change their fryer oil more often. (small edit, I went there again recently, and the fryer oil was still not changed. Customers can tell this is the case because of the darkness of the chicken that comes out of the fryer.)“

“A friend and I stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed one bit. The pickle chips were super crispy, her lemon pepper wings were wonderful, and my daytona wings had a lovely zing to them! The blue hooterade was also super delish. The only down sides were that it took us probably 15~30 minutes after we finished eating to get our waitress to bring us our check, and they didn't have XL in their hoodies.. only small and 2xl. We will definitely be coming back again and hoping to get that XL hoodie to collect! 🥰🦉“
