They helped this busy momma with a last minute cake while another location (closest to me) told me “ sorry, it’s first come, first served with our case cakes. You’ll have to see what’s left when you come in. We require 48 hours for our cakes” I was even willing to pay over the phone if they’d just pull one and write on it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Forever a New Haven customer 🩷“

“Tankers: they load you 24hrs a day takes roughly 3 hrs to load. Make sure you show up at your appointment time that is when your load of chocolate should be ready. If you are early they have a few spaces for parking is all. I was early and they let me park there to wait they have bathrooms across from the scale.“

I love this place!!! I am frequent visitor. I don't necessarily go for the food though when I do it's delicious. I love their double mushroom swiss burger and fries. I am very sad they do not do their pizza burgers anymore from when the business was under different management. If you plan to get fries get a milkshake or one of their candy swirl options with it. It is totally worth it. Do not want a burger but want something to feed the whole family? Order one of their pizzas and get a quart or 3 of ice cream. If they dont have a quart already made of a flavor you want you can ask them to make you a flavor.
DO NOT GO ON SUNDAYS!!!! EVEN IF YOU REALLY WANT TO!!! Sundays are their busiest days of the week. Go as soon as they open around 11am on a week day or Saturdays. SUNDAYS ARE CROWDED!!!!! The drive thru line will be LONG on Sundays. Early lunches are your best friend and evening are your frienemy.“

“Fried rice actually looks fried and pleasing to the eye instead of orange and boiled looking rice. The egg rolls are some of the best I've had in years. Hopefully if they decide to expand the appetizer or entrée menu it is as well done as these.“

I desire ice cream everyday! Multiple times a day!! My favorite blizzard treat is the Brownie Batter Blizzard!! This location is the ONLY location in all of Fort Wayne, Bluffton and Markle, that actually makes it proper!!! I always get a large Brownie Batter Blizzard at least 4 days a week. Some days I’ve even stopped in twice for a large BBBlizzard. The large get 4 scoops or Brownie Batter with 4 scoops of the brownie bits. All the other locations I’ve stopped at do, 1-2 scoops of batter and maybe 2 scoops of brownie bits. I’ve had 2 locations complain they don’t do the 4 scoops of batter because it’s thick and makes the blizzard hard to make. Well I’m sorry, this is part of your job description and that’s what makes this blizzard what it is!! Make it right, or don’t make it at all!! This location though, they do it right all the time!!

The staff here really are great people. The friendliest face that I’ve got used to seeing on my near daily stop is Elijah. I have had several interactions with Elijah and he’s a wonderful person/employee with what I’ve seen as showing great character, a great personality, a positive attitude, great work ethic and always serves and greets with a smile. Elijah wanting to be better at his job asked me out of curiosity, what I believe is the best way to make the blizzard knowing it is a pain to make but It really is best making half/half. Take large cup fill half way with ice cream, 2 scoops of batter, 2 scoops of brownie bits and mix then add the rest of the ice cream, 2 more scoops of batter and bits and mix. Once completed, you are left with perfection that keeps me coming back day after day until the batter runs out. Sadly, I Then have to wait around for next BBBlizzard season.

This DQ location really needs to partake in employee of the month initiatives and honor Elijah with the admirable praise he deserves followed by recognition of the other great employees that make this location the best and only pick for all my DQ Cravings!!“

“We had a fun experience as we asked Worker 1 if they could write "Happy Birthday Shitheads" and draw a turd for our 3 adult childrens' special birthdays. Worker 1 to Worker 2 "I think we can do that." "Oh, and can any of you draw a turd?" Worker 2 "I got you!" Worker 1 to Manager through headset: "Can I write Happy B" (Manager from kitchen before Worker 1 finishes question, "YES".) Worker 1 finishes question not hearing Manager approval, "My manager says we can!" Here's the result:“
