“Our waitress was amazing . She was always on top of our drinks and getting us what we needed. The food as always was amazing . We made a reservation and even on Fathers Day got seated within 5 mins of our reservation time . We had a very enjoyable experience and will be back.“

“Reminds me so much of my trips to China ten years ago. Small food stand with a few seats in a random grocery store.
The food is legit authentic…maybe the last one standing in Indy. Don’t believe the review that states there’s only one or two pieces of beef in the noodle soup. Just finished a bowl and there was plenty of beef…just the right ratio. I mean, give me a break, if you want a bowl of beef, go elsewhere. 🤣
Everything that we have tried is fabulous, perfect spicy, and obviously cooked fresh on the spot.“

“My family and I come here all the time, sometimes almost once a week. Best authentic Chinese food we know in Indianapolis!“

“Came in for the first time and dined in. Food came out in a timely manner, the young man at the register was very nice and accommodating, and the portions were generous. Most people coming in did carryout, but the dine-in experience was pleasant.“

“I would recommend them however I must say I was very disappointed in my order the other day. This use to be my favorite place but the last order the chicken tasted like it was a week old and very tough.“

“My family and i have been going here for years, they always treated us with kindness. The owner too was always so nice to me and family, even if there was a language barrier, they would still find a way to communicate with us. The food is quite amazing and the service is fantastic , would definitely recommend to others!“

“Surprisingly excellent Chinese cuisine. Yes, with American influence, but each dish had its distinct flavor and ingredients were fresh. The dishes we had were all perfectly cooked, and the large portions were Really Large (leading to some great leftovers! ) Highlights included Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, and Sichuan Tofu. Each dish came with rice. Only the chow mein was a bit salty (we had roast pork chow mein), the rest of the dishes were less salty and had great vegetables. A solid deal, four adults ate well and had enough for lunch for the next day, for just about $60. Looks more like a take-out place, but we dined there and the staff was friendly, the Chinese music was pleasant, and the temperature was good. If they just had some hot Jasmine or Green Tea, the place would be pretty perfect ?
Vegetarian options: We really enjoyed the Sichuan Tofu! Also, the Garlic Sauce is great...“

“We love this place. I used to live nearby and we would always get the steamed chicken and veggies and fried rice. I also love their lo mein. They have some of the best crab Rangoon and the portions are awesome. We live further away now but none of the Chinese restaurants around us compare.“

“I used to eat here 3-4 times a week now the owners sons health is failing and they went back to China and the people running it now are using a different supplier and different ingredients and the General Tsos chicken isnt the same and the egg rolls are generic tasting so i probably wont be going back unfortunately😢“

“I get lunch here often. One of the better Chinese restaurants. Egg rolls are really good, stir fry sauces are good, vegetables and meat fresh, no "off taste" like some other Chinese places. Was going to get lunch there today, sadly closed on Sunday.“

“We go once a month. Food is always hot, tastes fresh, the staff is nice & there has never been an issue! We normally get the orange chicken & it comes with broccoli. Sometimes we order the crab Rangoon. Never had bad food from here. I like this little family owned Panda restaurant.“

“We were in Indianapolis for a week and I was craving Chinese food. China Garden came to the rescue. It was a solid meal. Yes, it's not as authentic as I'm used to, but it did the trick. We ordered hot & sour soup, General Tso's Chicken, and their Szechuan Combination.
The two ladies managing the front of the house were extremely nice and friendly.“

“Visiting Indy for work. Researched the best Pho. This is the place. I orded the Kimchi Pho with rare beef and paired it with the fresh squeezed lemonade.
Perfection ? Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Super clean which is becoming rare at restaurants these days.“

“This is our go to place on the north side. The kids love the steamed dumplings and chow mei fun. We order delivery and they are always pretty quick and friendly at the drop off. Oh and their fried biscuits with cinnamon and sugar are the best for a little after dinner treat.“

“We are in town to see the Total Eclipse and we looked for a place to eat lunch. We found Golden China and decided to try this family run restaurant. The freshly made food was delicious and the service was great. Our egg food young and fried rice was outstanding, as was the General Tso's Chicken. They have carry out available, as well as seating inside. We will be back.“

“The lady who answered the phone was nice and knowledgeable. She was also respectable when I went to pickup my food. The place was clean and I was greeted when I entered the door. On top of that the food was good and hot and fresh. This is the best rice in town, u gotta get it fried darker. It reminds me of my fried rice from back home (STL). I give them a ????????“

“Food was excellent. We were looking for a good Chinese restaurant since we moved up here from North Carolina. Well we have found one here. Very satisfied with the quality and portion. It was fresh too. The restaurant was clean too. We will be going here for our Chinese nights. It's more of a take out place I will add . Overall great.“
“I’m more than thrilled that this place opened up! Tried it for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. They are super friendly and even entertained my special requests for extra toppings and off menu beverage!I’d recommend this for anyone from Southeast Asia looking for taste close to home or anyone wanting to try some humble classic Southeast Asian dish!“

“The food is good and they provide a generous portion for the low price. The facility isn’t much to look at, but you’re not living there so it’s not that bad. I had the chicken and mushroom and my wife had the pad Thai, we also shared some steamed dumplings. Everything was good and we had enough leftovers for another meal to heat up the next day. I definitely recommend this place.“

“I used to order food from China King II years ago, but kinda' forgot about them due to the Covid pandemic!...Anyway, a couple of days ago, I had a craving for Chinese food, so I ordered my usual, shrimp fried rice w/extra shrimp, two shrimp egg rolls and four chicken wings w/ extra duck sauce! Maaaaan! I only live a few blocks from the restaurant, so everything was delivered piping hot and as tasty as it was the last time I had it and still at a pretty reasonable price compared to most other restaurants!! You can call in a pick-up order or a delivery. Either way, there won't be a long preparation time!“

“This place is really a hidden gem up here in Broad Ripple. It's a shame that the most recent Local Guide review is so negative -- that couldn't be further from my experience. If you don't read the rest of my diatribe -- do yourself a favor and go here if you crave some classic Chinese dishes done immaculately.
In general, you can't ask much more from a chinese joint in Indiana. While the food did take a bit to prepare (pretty sure only two people were in the kitchen the day I came in), it was worth it with perfectly cooked chicken (in both non-fried form in the Bourbon Chicken and in the General Tso), tender but still slightly crispy vegetables in the Black Pepper Chicken and Vegetable Chow Mein and (in this gwailou's opinion) immaculately cooked rice. All the flavors were exactly where I'd want them to be, not too salty and, even for the notoriously sweet Bourbon Chicken and General Tso, not cloying.
Not to mention, the crab rangoon here are downright textbook. If, you prefer a more sweet crab rangoon to the more savory version you sometimes find with chive or scallion inside (oh, and I do), you can't get much better than here.
Also, if, like myself, you find yourself strangely at home in Chinese-American restaurants, this is an encyclopedic representation of one, complete with CRT television, Shen Yun posters, and other paraphernalia that even the most seasoned NASCAR afficionado could recognize as "probably chinese". Seriously, it was worth going just for the nostalgia alone.
In fact, "old school" is generally how I'd describe this place--which is probably what endears me so much about it. Amazing quality food of good portions at reasonable prices from a place with nostalgic decor -- what else could you possibly ask for? I know what I could ask for -- more patronage to this place! Seriously, don't miss out.“

“A tad on the expensive side ($23) for Asian food. Pretty yummy food, steamed pot stickers, chicken Kung pao (Lrg), egg fried rice, and a drink (only small cups w/ unlimited refills).
Don't get a drink here, though. My cup was clean, but the drink machine (diet pepsi) had particles of something in the beverage.“

“This hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant was an unexpected pleasant surprise!
The lunch portions were large and very well prepared.
It's not over-sauced and tasty. The fried rice had "The Breath of the Dragon," which only occurs when the wok is very hot and the smoke infuses into the dish.
I was pleasantly surprised.
The staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful.
I noticed that the majority of the business was take-out.
Which every you choose, dine-in or take-out, I'm sure will enjoy their food.
So give them a try!
As always, if you like my review, please don't forget to hit the "Like" button.“

“Whenever I go to a new Chinese restaurant the first think I look for is fried scallops. You'd be surprised how hard they can be to find. They have them and they're delicious. I've also had their "teriyaki" chicken which is a generous amount of chicken-on-a-stick. And their chicken wings. Its fast service and the food is solid. Get some takeout and enjoy.“

“I've only ordered delivery, and so far the food has been amazing. Tastes just like the family Chinese joint in the town I grew up in! But in my last order I was given Mixed Vegetables and not Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice, and we couldn't get it refunded by Doordash. Read the whole ticket next time please! Easy mistake, I understand. I will definitely still order from here though - cheaper than Fei Da, same quality and taste. Portions are huge! They want to give you your money's worth and more! Definitely recommend.“

“Before we moved to Noblesville 6yrs ago we frequently ate here. Now we only get to enjoy this amazing food once or twice a year whenever we make a special trip into Indy. We always get the #1 crab Rangoon, #11 pork spring rolls and #101 beef Pho. Sometimes we like to switch things up and get the General Tao. All of them are the best we’ve ever experienced.“

“Been coming here for over 10 years. Most Chinese take-out joints go downhill over the years, but not this one. Still my favorite beef and broccoli in town, and I make special trips for it after moving further away. Never had an issue with quality, and always fast service.“

“Amazing Authentic Chinese food!! In addition to the typical American Chinese and sushi, they have a section of the menu in Chinese with some incredible truly authentic items. Double cook pork belly, fish and pickled cabbage in chili oil, husband and wife meat pieces... if you want the real deal, Bento has it!“

“I have been going here since I was 6. It's amazing and I definitely have my favorites. The menu and buffet hasn't changed much over the years. The Chinese meatballs, chicken on a stick, BBQ spare ribs, and lo mein are my favorite.“

“No complaints about the food, it was what you would expect. The person taking orders was distracted, it seems he just wanted to hand off to go orders. I don't take food back to work, I enjoy a break. I said my order was to eat there, I got it in a bag, no napkins or plasticware. They had plastic wear available, kid sized forks, ridiculous. Never could get a napkin. Too bad, it could have been a good lunch spot. They have a decent seating area.“

“This place is pretty good as far as Chinese take-out goes. Food is tasty, portions are big, and delivery is super fast. And the kids like it too! Our 17 year old gets the beef fried rice, our 15 year old gets the curry chicken with onion, and our 6 year old goes for the chicken on a stick. Definitely a go-to for our family.“

“This is my new favorite place to order soup from. All these years eating Chinese food at different locations, I never knew you could add items to your soup until I ordered online here today. It gave me the option to add chicken and veggies to my hot and sour soup which is basically just broth. I have a cold and this is the best thing I could have asked for today. My new favorite soup spot.“

“I'd recommend this establishment and the food they offer. I got my favorite dish the Singapore chow mei fun and this was one of my top 5 for best. I've traveled all around and had this dish everywhere, so to say this in the top 5 means a lot. The only reason I didnt do 5 stars is because I've tasted a 5 star Singapore chow mei fun!“

“Sizzling wok has been an Indianapolis staple for over 30 years. They were here before viet food started to become mainstream and offered a haven, comfort, nostalgia for those so far away from home. “Don't have paper plates, average prices, food good, fast service, English a challenge
Parking: On the far side of Kroger, strip mall of several large and small stores
Wheelchair accessibility: Tables or booths would allow a wheelchair to end cap to dine in,
Not a buffet. Carryout or dine in at tables no service or waiters just no mess in car or at home“

“Very good place for cheap "Chinese" food. Consistency throughout the chain makes this a good and safe choice., although occasionally Kung Pao can be extremely spicy. Personally, adding hot oil instead of szechuan peppers would give greater control over the heat levels.“

“Great place to get decent Chinese food for a good price. Excellent service, extremely fast, very tasty.
Vegetarian options: Veganism/vegetarianism is the sad result of a morally corrupt mind. Reconsider your life
Parking: Large parking lot plenty of parking and handicapped accessible spots
Kid-friendliness: It's a small Chinese restaurant, you CAN eat here but the place is geared more so towards take out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair accessible parking“

“I went around 4pm on a Sunday and it was packed! The staff we interacted with were very nice. It took a minute to find a table, so expect a possible wait. The food was delicious, everything was super fresh. The Mongolian BBQ is definitely worth it, they fry your meat and veggies right in front of you. Lots of fresh seafood like craw fish, fish, and shrimp, house made sushi, and a really impressive cold salad and fruit bar. Everything was well stocked, and they were constantly refilling pans since food was flying off the bar as fast as they could put it up. I will definitely be coming back.
Kid-friendliness: They offered fries, pizza, fish sticks, and other more kid friendly options, as well as a good selection of fresh fruit and some desserts.
Parking: Parking was packed when I went, but since the interior of the restaurant was almost full as well, that's understandable. If you park towards the other end of the strip mall, you'll have little issue finding a spot.
Dietary restrictions: If you are allergic to shellfish I would definitely avoid it. As delicious as the food is, almost every bar contains shellfish (shrimp, crayfish, ect) and since it's a buffet there's no way to be 100% sure about cross contamination.“

“This review has been edited in response to customer service from this business, hence their response below.I have ordered from here in the past, the food is delicious. I moved and they informed me that I was outside of their delivery range when I made my most recent order. I was unable to pick up, but didn't receive a refund. These sorts of oversights do happen, but I was frustrated. It took a while to get a refund (which is largely my fault, anxiety makes phone calls hard for me) but I received a refund today, so my stars have gone up to reflect the food's quality and kind employees.“

“This is my favorite Chinese restaurant to go to in Plainfield. My favorite meal is the crab rangoons and the shrimp with mixed vegetables with white sauce and white rice. The crab rangoons are the best around. The rice is always the perfect texture, and the shrimp and vegetables are always fresh with great flavor. I've been going to this restaurant for years for takeout and always have a good experience.“
