“So for real- the food was delicious. But we couldn’t enjoy it at all. It was probably 85-90 degrees in the restaurant. It was incredibly uncomfortable and actually made us feel nauseous. So we recommend going in the winter apparently. Made me so sad because we have been looking forward to going there for so long.“

“I had such an amazing birthday experience there the only thing it seems. They change their dressing on their salads so other than that, everything was amazing!

Dietary restrictions: All I know is they have a lot of different items on their menu as they didn’t have before I would check it out!

Parking: There’s tons of parking! No worries there

Kid-friendliness: It’s definitely kid friendly because they have a dining area!

Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessibility there. It’s amazing.“

“Located along the canal, you order at the counter and eat on the terrace. The atmosphere is nice, the scenery is beautiful, and the comforts make you want to live in Indianapolis.
The Italian soda (I forgot to take a photo) was different from what I had imagined, but it was really delicious. I opened the door on the left side of the room and used the toilet inside the building, and it was clean.“

“Rosemary and Olive in one word is DELICIOUS! Everyone in our party of 6 said this is the best Italian food in Indy. I had the spaghetti puttanesca and it was to die for. I couldn’t stop eating it even though halfway through I was full. Some other dishes at the table were the bolognese, ravioli and seafood pasta. Rave reviews from everyone. Absolutely delicious appetizers, desserts, and drinks. The service was great too! I can’t wait to come back!“

“Vicino offers a fantastic blend of atmosphere, creativity, and flavor that keeps me coming back. (Fun fact: the “c” in Vicino is pronounced like “ch,” which I didn’t know at first!) The space itself is charming, with huge windows overlooking Mass Ave, giving the interior a bright, open feel. The patio, situated on the corner, has lush greenery that adds a bit of privacy, perfect for a relaxing outdoor experience. Bonus: It’s dog-friendly, which makes it even better.

Both times I sat at the bar, and each visit was outstanding. Julian, the bartender on my first visit, is truly a master of his craft. With 90% of the cocktails on the menu curated by him, I trusted his ability to mix something unique based on my spirit of choice—and he did not disappoint. He seems to love experimenting, and his passion shows in every sip. On my second visit, Devin was behind the bar and proved just as talented, accommodating my desire to switch things up again with different spirits.

I also had the pleasure of trying the food on my first visit, and it was absolutely delicious, pairing perfectly with the drinks. Overall, Vicino delivers a stellar experience across the board, with the only small downside being the lack of a trash can by the bathroom door for those who prefer to use a paper towel to exit. But that’s a minor detail in what is otherwise a great spot.“

“I ALWAYS have great experiences at the Fazoli’s in Avon In but today was truly amazing!! While eating a late lunch, I overheard the manager, who I believe is Jeff Bistro, talking with his team in the kitchen. He was praising his staff for a job well done and telling them how proud he was of all of them. This is a rarity these days. Especially in the fast food world. And the team was well deserving of his praise! Job well done!!“

“My wife and I like to just take off to a random town close and visit a Resteraunt that is not a chain Resteraunt . So Italian exceeded all of the expectations we had . “When we come into Indy for the Indy mini half marathon, we always stay at the same hotel over by Nonna‘s so Italian so we could get our carbs in the night before. Well, this last weekend we were there for a family wedding and we ordered a pizza ahead so we could have it when we got to the hotel. It was all perfect till I got to the hotel and they called me to tell me we received the wrong pizza two people with the same last name ordered at the same time. They were so gracious and let us keep the pizza we had even though it was probably more expensive than what we had ordered, but we didn’t have much time to wait or return it. So gracious of them to make it so easy on us and let me tell you that pizza was delicious.“

“We were visiting Indy for the weekend, and we have eaten at several big hitters like St. Elmo's and Cake Bake, however Diavola was by far our favorite. It's situated in a beautiful neighborhood filled with charm. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming front and the restaurant definitely served locals as a favorite spot. Our server, Christopher, was fantastic. He was friendly, professional, and gave great advice and suggestions for us to try. The food was top tier. My favorite was the cheese garlic bread. I could have slept on those pillowy perfectly proved crusts and swum in the delightfully melted cheese enhanced by perfectly balanced garlic. But, really everything was wonderful, and don't sleep on the cannoli! We have told everyone we've seen since eating at Diavola that they need to check it out! Highly highly recommend!“
