“This service station from long ago has been transformed into a great spot for a casual drink, or for a great meal. Good portions and very well done and tasty. Clean, no smoking atmosphere with great service and smiling people.“

I ordered the Walleye Almondine- Absolutely perfect in every way, the portion, the sauce, accompaniments, everything was cooked to perfection 🤌 I’m looking forward to trying their chicken piccata soon and I will be saving some room for the crème brûlée. My dinner guests, had the lasagna,Shrimp Diablo and a wedge salad. Every single one of them were delicious!! My sister, is gluten free and they brought her, hummus and veggies in place of the dinner bread. She did not even ask for it, she did ask what they served that was gluten free. Very thoughtful and impressive.“

“Not as good as usual given apparent kitchen staffing issues, but review is really prompted by wondering how anyone can choose or tolerate those cold white spot lights above the bar? My eyes can’t handle that. Ok for an operating room, but not a restaurant.“

“I only recommend this place because of the cook Jeff. He walked in and did more work in 10 minutes then all of the other staff combined! Put him in charge of that place! The manager only cared about testing the staff on the menu when she should have cared about clearing the tables for the next customers.“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
