“Drove two hours to experience this greatness. Green Hill Diner is amazing, with faithful patrons, adept and personable servers, and a small town atmosphere. The cheese curds are to die for, and the Cuban Tenderloin with homemade fries was one of the best I’ve ever had. All of the food was served fresh and hot. “Talk about a loving, home town feel, not only from the staff, but also other patrons (who raved about the food as they left and others got up slightly early to make room for us). Everyone was so kind and the staff had a synergy that came through in a fast, helpful, and cheerful way. They were able to think quickly and seat 11 of us in an efficient way, even keeping us together. Also on the ball in all our needs, even given the large group. “Discovered this place when I was here on a work trip. Ended up coming here three or four times a week for dinner or breakfast. The food is fantastic, the service is nonpareil, and the atmosphere is as warm and welcoming as any place in Indiana. Next time I’m back in town, I know exactly where I’m going!“

“The service was friendly. I had a short stack of their whole-grain pancakes with fruit on top, with two eggs, sunny side up. The eggs were excellent. The fruit was fresh and very tasty. The pancakes, were just a bit undercooked. Given a five star but for that. In the cooks defense, they look to be cooked on the outside, but inside in the center it was half cooked batter. I ate it all though!“

“Decided to try their breakfast this morning. Hubby got the blueberry pancakes, and I got regular. His were loaded up with blueberries! I have to deduct half a point because they don't have peanut butter which I like to have on my pancakes, but they made up for it by the bacon portion. Most places you get just 2 slices of bacon. They give you 4! The waitress was friendly and efficient, the restaurant was very clean and the decor and music are very entertaining.“

“There reason I have a 4 star for service is there was no travel service. You but and pick up at the counter and take to you y table, which isn't that bad of a process. The cashier/order taker was friendly and the food was tasty. The atmosphere was great and nostalgic with"coca-cola" tin decorations everywhere. A good place. “Second stop here. I had the Spicy Bacon Ranch Burger with fries. It was one of the best smoked burgers I have had in a while and it was cooked to perfection for medium rare. Fries were excellent. Only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the barely wine…it was luke warm at best and needed to be served in chilled glass or the temperature adjusted on the taps as the other sample I tried was also almost room temperature.“
