“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. “I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Shrimp Shack in Munster! I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo, which came with fries and bread.
The catfish was definitely the star of the meal! The fillet was a great size and fried to perfection at least to my liking. 😋 The shrimp was pretty average, but still good. The fries were cooked extra crispy, which may be perfect for someone who loves a good crunch.
The bread was a little hard, and I’m guessing that may have been because it was placed directly on top of the hot fish.
I also really liked the nice decor and clean lobby area, and the customer service I received was friendly and welcoming. Another plus was that the wait wasn’t long at all!
I’m not sure how much business they normally get, but in my opinion, Shrimp Shack is a good spot for a quick bite to eat. Overall, the food was good, the service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and that catfish was the highlight for me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I had heard they had prime rib tacos, I have never had prime rib tacos. I guess you can only get them on Wednesday so I called and ordered carry out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The taco itself was absolutely delicious! So savory and moist. I am glad I ordered 3 of them. I will 100% be going back.“

“Seafood snacks? What are y’all got, kelp? Honestly, I have no way to possibly fathom what a seafood snack could be. But that’s not even the most confusing part to me, y’all got steak too? How? Is the steak a seafood snack? Well, it is separated by a “&”, so I guess not. Or could it possibly be that the cows who are the steaks were fed seafood snacks? Or could it be that the cows were sea cows? Maybe the cows were born and raised underwater. I’m just trying to imagine the logistics of that, like how would the cows get oxygen? Maybe it’s highly oxygenated water. Or maybe throughout billions of years of evolution the cows became adapted to the sea life. I’m not even sure that cows have been around for that long. But also, I feel like we would be feeding off of a very rare species. They’re probably super rare because I have never heard of them before. So it might be best that we don’t eat the sea cows, or they might go extinct.“
