“What a wonderful eating experience for us. Service was above average and the young man was so nice. The ambiance was average and if they rearranged it could be more cozy. The dumplings were wonderful but we didn't like the crab Rangoon. Spice was perfect in our Lo Mein and the chicken was plentiful. There was enough left over for lunches for the next two days.“

“Delicious meal- served up fresh and piping hot. Friendly service! My only complaint is- I paid the dinner price- and got lunch portions. I would’ve definitely ordered from the lunch menu, had I known there was one (a worthy mention from the host would have been stellar). That way, I would’ve received a dish of soup that was not offered on the dinner combination.“

“Being from the NY Metro area, this is as good as most NY/NJ restaurants. Egg drop soup was fantastic with NO corn, carrots, peas, or any other junk, just how it should be. The lunch menu is great and worth it. Fast service for lunch. Good parking and easy to find.“

“This is a fast casual Chinese restaurant with limited dine in seating. That being said, I absolutely love this place for lunch. For under 10 bucks, you can get such a solid delicious lunch option. There is a little buffet/panda express style option if you go to the restaurant, where the food is fresh and you have tons of popular options to choose from. I never have a bad experience here!“

“Visited this place Friday evening and was automatically greeted. The atmosphere was welcoming and she was very attentive the entire time. We ordered a large egg drop soup and two dinners off of the combination dinner menu. I ordered the combination lo mein and it was delicious--could've had more shrimp, but tasted so good. The fried rice was delicious as well. I loved the meal here and definitely recommend--if you're nearby, give it a try!“

All portions were generous.Vegetarian options: The mixed vegetables were very fresh and tasty with generous serving size.“

“We were headed to Grand Wok until I realized that it was Monday & they were closed. After reading reviews we decided to try Chen's Kitchen because it has a lunch special for $7.99 - just right for a couple of Seniors. The place is small - only four tables - obviously most of their business is carryout. We tried Sesame Chicken & Chicken with Green Beans. They came with your choice of a can of soda, soup, crab rangoon or eggroll - an extra is only $.50 more. Everything was delicious & we both had enough leftover to take home. This place is as good as any similar place & I'll return. I can't believe it's been there almost 20 years - just a few miles from my home.“

“This is a 5-star Chinese takeout restaurant. Don't @ me as the kids say (do they still say that?). If you want fancy hibachi or sushi go somewhere else. This place is for delicious carry-out so you can pick it up and gorge yourself in the privacy of your own home. Don't get cute with your order. Generals Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Sticks, Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon are guaranteed to be at least 4.5/5.0 every time. Call in your order and it WILL be ready when you get there. Pretty sure it's one guy in the kitchen but it might as well be a whole army of chefs and line cooks. I've never had to wait when calling ahead - not sure what they are doing back there but I'm fairly certain you could call in from the parking lot and it would be ready by the time you got to the register (and it's not even a big parking lot). Also, they aren't messing around with idle chit chat. Get your food and hit the road. I love it. I don't need someone to ask me how my day is going or if I have big plans for the weekend. Overall just a very solid local place that's our go-to when it comes to good Chinese carry out.“

“Had the General Taos chicken and they brought out a whole serving plate full of it and the steamed rice on a separate plate and I'm thinking OMG there's no way I can eat all of it and believe me that never ever happens. I had enough for my lunch the next day. So I had 2 delicious meals for the price of one. I will definitely be coming back.“
