“This is a small, local bar that is playing sports on a few TV's which I guess makes it a sports bar. But give it a chance. The owner was extremely nice and yet was bantering with the locals like a salty sailor. The wings were surprisingly good, their house sauce was spicy and tangy. And the locals were also friendly. This is not a chain place, but if you want a beer and good wings this is the place to go.“

“My husband and I went for the first time here on Wednesday evening...our female server (dont remember her name) but she was very friendly and quick with everything...we got chips and salsa and tacos.. everything tasted amazing!.. 10/10....and all under 30 bucks! a great deal we will definitely be coming back to try something new or I'll probably get more tacos :)“

“it was not the great experience I thought it would be, but for anyone on. a budget this palace serves enough per plate to feed an army. I am at KUMed, so taste buds are way off but everything seemed so salty. they also had no recall of my soda which I ordered online because it red soda. when my son came back with diet whatever I almost flipped him over. Maybe that's the swelling of the brain???🤔🤔🤔 regardless, my favorite husband has had a black and blue burger several times and he loves them. I get the feeling it's a dine- in kind of place.“

“Wings are the best I’ve had outside of Buffalo, but sadly the blue cheese was tasteless. Our waitress was nice but brought us the wrong appetizer and often left our drinks unfilled. If you are a Bills fan, DO NOT come here for a Bills/Chiefs game. It was torture. WAY more Chiefs fans than Bills fans and some of them were downright mean, profane, and vulgar, mocking the Bills fans and loudly chanting, “F*ck Josh Allen!” I brought my 15-year old son and I cannot say that it was family friendly. SO MUCH profanity, plus a TV right in front of our table was playing some awful blood and gore show the whole time we were there. It needed to be tuned to the game or turned off. The TVs kept losing their signal, plus they were often not in sync with each other and were always well behind the live game, so patrons were watching on their phones and loudly announcing what we were about to see happen on the screens. Plus the sound was terrible. Apparently the jukebox was messed up, so a guy was going around turning individual TV volumes up, but it was impossible to hear anything. When my son went to use the bathroom, there was no door on it, just a curtain, which he found uncomfortable. So in summary, really good wings, but don’t expect a Bills-friendly atmosphere. It was a soul-crushing experience and my son was begging to leave, but we couldn’t get out fast enough because we never got a check or the box I asked for. I found a box myself and the waitress finally took my credit card after I waved it around for a few moments.“

“Decided to try Christine's today. I'm so glad we did. Chiefs were playing and had just gotten a touchdown as we walked in the door. The house interrupted into cheers and claps. I couldn't resist to bow & wave while thanking everyone for the grand welcome. They all laughed and greeted us with welcoming comments. So much fun. The atmosphere is amazing! I'm sure the game had a role in that, but I loved it. Kevin, our server was excellent. So friendly, attentive, helpful... just wonderful. It was our 36th anniversary and just wanted to find a place with good Bloody Mary's & food. We weren't disappointed. Hubby had a GIGANTIC tenderloin & said it was great. I loved the fried cauliflower and the great BBQ pulled pork sammich. It's a small homey place but those are the best kind of places in my opinion. Also we love that it is fire service related. My husband is a 26 yr firefighter, Captain.“

“Moe was amazing! She handled the entire bar/restaurant by herself on a Chiefs Sunday! She served everyone's drinks and food, cleaned up everywhere, wiped off tables if spills or anything happened, cashed out everyone tabs, literally did everything by herself! And she made it look easy, which we all know but that could not have been easy! I really appreciate her and her hard work!

“Date night. Great place to go. Huge selection of drinks and awesome food. I had a salad with salmon that was one of the vest salads i have ever had and my boyfriend had a bourbon burger and said it was "perfect". We had the loaded spud app and shared the pretzel dessert....the best beginning and ending we could want. Our server, Heather, was so sweet and talked us through a lot of our options. She was super attentive. We will definitely be heading back!“

“I’ve always loved this place. But was very disappointed yesterday with my order. I ordered the “giant” pork tenderloin sandwich which used to be bigger than the bread. Not anymore. It’s a frozen Pattie that was extremely dry and overcooked. I’ll still go back but not for that sandwich anymore.“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“The food was great but I wouldn’t come here on an evening of you want good service. My husband and I did a tasting tour near by and wanted something to eat before we headed back to the Air BnB. Immediately you could tell how the experience was going to be when we didn’t order drinks right away and didn’t see our server again for about 15 minutes. She was very obviously more interested in paying more attention to customers that ordered drinks right away. She didn’t give her name otherwise I would I mention here. We only got one water and she didn’t come back to us again. We went to go to the hostess to try to pay our bill, ended up stopping her as she was leaving the bar. I give 2 stars out of 5. That’s only because the food was really good. I don’t think I would come back here. Maybe during the day would be better but I don’t know if I’d come here again anyway.“

I like my wings crispy, and most places don’t make them crispy enough for me even when I ask (no shade, it is what it is). But they always deliver for me at Helen’s! “A friend and I met for Happy Hour at Lew's the other day, and we had a marvelous time!
Our server was Sara P, who was truly awesome. Despite being the sole server (and bartender!), Sara was friendly, welcoming and efficient. She guided us through the menu (as it was our first time visiting the establishment), gave us great recommendations on menu choices, and checked back with us frequently throughout the meal. She was genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good time, and I really appreciate her!
The food was EXCELLENT--I had the Southwest Egg Rolls and my friend had the Nachos, and both of our meals were delicious! The kitchen did a nice job in preparing them quickly, and the presentation was lovely.
Lew's is a homey, hospitable place; the seating is comfortable, and there's just enough space around the booths, tables, and bar so that we felt cozy without feeling closed-in.
Fabulous food, fast and friendly service, and a welcoming environment--you can bet we'll be back to Lew's soon!“

“OK I shop the store all the time but today Saturday, June 10 was the worst experience I’ve ever had the guy who checked me out never ever said one word to me not hi how are you how much my total was nothing put my card in did they number he walked away then he came back and look like he was mad because I didn’t tear off my own receipt and then the girl that was bagging. My stuff look like I was bothering her because she had bag my groceries and she never said a word to me told the manager and he goes who Russell or Rusty or whatever his name was didn’t say a word to you and I said no nobody said a word to me so much for a smile in every aisle he goes oh well I’m sorry I’ll talk to them really sad, sad. Sad“
