My main dish was Steak Chicken and Shrimp Fajitas which was perfect with the right amount of spicy ness. The tamales are the highlight—the masa is light and fluffy, not heavy or dry like most places, and they’re stuffed with meat that actually has flavor. The salsas are the real kicker; mild was great and the hot has a kick but so fresh you’ll keep dipping even when your mouth is watering. To top it off, the margaritas actually taste like tequila and fresh lime, not that sugary bottled mix. They’re strong, simple, and hit the spot perfectly.“

“Their food is amazing. I drive 1 hour to eat there, and a hour home. Food is still warm when I get home. I always order burrito asada, and initially I was taken aback because they had beans in burrito. Now I find it part of the reason I love them. Big portions, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. “Ohemgee! We found a new fave stop on the Taco Trail. The tacos are hot fresh and FULL of meat. My carne asada and pastor tacos were flavorful and ¡muy delicioso! The meat was a little crispy but not dried out. The server at the counter was super friendly and gave us a little history lesson on the name (no this is not a food truck but a restaurant now… but they started as a truck many years ago). We got our sauces on the side because they came with a warning that they are not gringo mild. 😃“
