Sonic Drive-In in Kansas City

“My stop at Sonic Drive-In was a fun throwback drive-in experience. Ordering from the car and waiting for the tray to arrive just feels classic. The burger was solid, the tater tots were crispy, and the slush drink was perfect on a warm day. It’s simple fast food, but the nostalgic vibe makes it enjoyable every time.“

“Placed an order through the App and picked it up here. Their parking lot is under construction so it is kind of rough. My order was mostly correct. Unfortunately they were too busy for me to use an intercom stall so I couldn’t get my order fixed.“

“Really good place to eat or just get something to drink. This location is really fast. We have gone several times in the past month and every time the servers are running around like rabbits. They don't make you wait at all, nobody there is lazy for sure. Love their food and ice cream. Great location.“

“Stopped by today while running errands in Riverside and saw they added a smash burger to the menu. Got the double smash with a side of tater tots and loved every bite of it. Juicy and gooey with all of the cheese, just the way it should be. I'm not usually an orderer of actual sandwhich items, but I'd definitely prefer this again in the future. They got my food made up very quickly, and the gal running the drive thru was lovely.“

“We received some really good customer service today around 5:15pm.The manager even walked out and asked.Was everything all right. It seemed as if they were really working as a team because the car's next to us were delivered there. Food with 2 individuals as well. One.
Was handing out food and the other one was holding the drinks we will be going back for this type of customer service“

“Ever since Sonic has added their smash burgers you quite literally get Angus beef smashburgers the kind of burgers you would get at a pub at your local fast food restaurant this is not like any other restaurant is doing this burger tastes so freaking delicious and it's cheaper than McDonald's is freaking l quarter pounder which in no way shape or form will ever beat this smashburger this smashburger literally is better than some restaurant and pubs in Kansas City honestly it's it's starting it tastes better to me than freaking town topic at this point like guys get you a double smasher or a triple smasher without the smasher sauce add extra grilled onions and I promise you that burger is going to taste just as good as freaking town topic“

“Last year while hella pregnant I couldn’t get my app to work and parked in the lot to figure it out (and have a mental breakdown) and the sweetest worker came by to check on me very gently twice, she was a real one I hope her pillow is cold every night 🩷“

“I haven't been to a Sonic in many years since I moved from Missouri. The all-natural lemonade with a couple extra scoops of strawberries was amazing! The car hop was a lovely young lady who said she made it just like she'd make it for herself! So sweet and kind! And, the cheddar peppers!! 🤤“

“My experience at this location was smooth, I ordered a bag of ice and mozzarella sticks. The young lady that took my order was pleasant and the young lady that gave me my order was as well.

The mozzarella sticks were fresh and I appreciated that. There have been times where I’ve gotten this item from other locations and the cheese isn’t as melted. I’ve visited this location before and it went well.

“Sonic ice is a special treat at family gatherings. There was a large food order ahead of my car in the drive thru and they didn't make me wait, instead they brought out my order of a single bag of ice. I thought that was really considerate.“
