“My partner and I came last Wednesday close to closing hour. The bartender was sweet and made one of the best dirty martini with gin that we've had in a while. Well-balanced and smooth to drink. The atmosphere was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back again.“
“This place is one of the few bars I've been to that feels genuinely relaxing. The atmosphere is incredible with vintage decor, there's often live music from touring and local musicians, and ample space to sit and talk. The staff is fast, friendly, and kind. It's a must visit in KC. Can't say enough great things about this please, the list is endless.“

“One of, if not the, best bar in KC. Spent almost an entire 8 hours with some friends out in their patio and it was a really amazing experience. I've gone many times now since I live so close, and my boyfriend swears that their burger has overtaken town topic for best burger in kc, while I think it's a close second. The service is amazing, the patio is gorgeous and so is the inside, the drinks are amazing, and so is the food. The 70s theme is perfect for me and my bf as well, since we are lovers of all things 70s. All around a truly incredible bar, I would definitely recommend!“

“Kudos to you for your courageous stand during the pandemic. I know that cowardly Corey Owens, whose business is PaintingSolutionsSKC, a painting company with what he and his wife think is a “clever” logo featuring two intertwined Nazi swastikas, left you a bad review for requiring vaccination for your customers during that dangerous time and I just want to commend you and thank you for doing your part to protect fellow Americans. Stubby little Nazi coward Corey can’t even spell “riffraff” but I’m glad you made sure he knew he was a piece of it. You are not alone; crappy Corey is coming after my community too, focusing weirdly and troublingly on victimizing our children. Nazi Corey is both pathetic and dangerous and needs to be kept out of places where decent people go. Good luck and thank you again for your courage and strength.“

“This is one of my favorite bars in Kansas City to take new people or people that dont go out on the town very often. it's really easy to socialize with strangers and it doesn't take very long to get a drink from the bar even if it is busy.“

“Got the pastrami on rye with extra pastrami. Meat was good, dressing decent - but the bread, was it microwaved? Warm and soggy. You gotta do the bread right.

“One of the best server / bartenders ever she kept an eye on us at our table continually replenished our drinks and served us a great pork chop with mushroom gravy and brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes we had an outstanding evening in the drum room obtw the old fashioned is fantastic“

“The atmosphere is great. The food is delicious. The staff are very attentive, nice and always smiling. Shuffle board is so fun. They also have other fun games to play while you’re there. The restaurant and restrooms are clean and neat. Did I mention the food is delicious!! I give it 5 stars“

“Fun local dive bar. No food but they have a few snacks for purchase, sometimes coffee cake next to the free coffee station and a popcorn machine (not always in use). Couple dart boards in the back. a gold game and a gambling card game too on the bar. Covered deck in the back. Not a lot of options for beers, but good specials and fair prices in general. They make their own moonshine, and it is DELICIOUS. Apple Pie and Peach are king (to be fair I didn't try the other 2), peach tastes like fresh peach nectar. Highly recommend.“

“Fabulous smash burgers and tots!! This is a bar, though. It just sells those food items!!! You scan the qr code to order and pay for your food online, then wait for your order while you grab a drink! It's all in to go bags so you can eat at your seat or finish your drink and take your food home! Water is available to dispense yourself near the pick-up line! My favorite cocktail is the espresso negroni!!!“
