“Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!“

“Walleye Quality Issues: breading: tastes fishy & rancid, fishbones.

My friend insisted we go to Culver's to get the walleye; which is seasonal. I love the mild flavor of Walleye; have caught & eaten it often.

She and her husband got the dinner. I got the sandwich. My first bite was awful; had a rancid/fishy taste. I split the fillet in two and took a bite of just the fish (no breading); the fish itself was good. As I was removing all of the breading from the fillet and bun, my friend said her fish tasted terrible. I suggested she remove the breading from all of the fillets; hers & her husband's.
As we were eating the naked fillets, we noticed her husband's plate had fishbones and started searching for and removing bones from his plate (hoping he hadn't ingested any) Neither her, nor my, fillets had bones in them.

We usually enjoy our Culver's visits but this time, it appears:
#1. Someone didn't clean the frying oil before reusing it.
#2. Someone didn't store the oil properly after it was used.
Recommend:
Staff: training on frying oil use and storage.
Supervisors: confirm proper follow-through.
Customers: vigilantly search for fishbones.“

“Came in on a superbowl Sunday and it was quiet ish, the bartender, Ryan was great though, engaging, great service, dealt with my indecisiveness quickly. I had a great time just chilling on a quiet night. Came back Tuesday and it was lively, plenty of friendly locals. Ryan remembered my name and what I was drinking. My hometown dive bars don't serve food, but I felt at home, which is rare.

“Food was great. My only issue is a very slight mix up. I ordered avocado toast to go on my toast with my omelet. Instead a secondary whole plate came out. It was simple miscommunication, and I did not complain. I simply ate it and paid.

The waitress was so nice and was very quick to take care of everything that I did not want to be a problem. I am sure they would have fixed it if I had said something.“

“Checked out the place because I loved what I had seen online. I was greeted promptly and efficiently at the hostess stand. I was quickly seated. I reviewed the menu and my server greeted me quickly. I asked her for her recommendation. She suggested the bourbon glaze burger. The burger was juicy flavorful and well seasoned. The server was available but not pushy. The manager also checked to be sure things were satisfactory. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return. If i were to make one suggestion, it would to not put all the garnish on the bottom bun.“

“Pros:
(1) Tasty food -the fries were crunchy and fluffy and flavorful, and the burger was juicy and plump and had a good amount but not too much of sauce
(2) The prices are very fair
(3) The interior is not too loud, though that might would change if there were more people
(4) We asked for the BLT to have extra-crispy bacon, and they did a good job at that
(5) The portion size is just about right

Cons:
(1) The chairs are in bad shape and ripped with stuffing spilling out in some cases

(1) I went in with low expectations, as I hadn’t heard anyone really ever mention this place, and so many of their chairs were ripped or in bad shape. But I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was“

“We set a reservation with The Blue Moose two days in advance for a party of 30 composed of my daughter's soccer team and parental entourage. Marla and the staff took great care of us with prompt service and delicious food. The Blue Moose is a great choice for any group coming over from the Garmin Soccer Complex.
