“I came to Kansas City over the weekend and experienced the delight that is your restaurant. If I ever get back there you’ll see me again. The food was amazing, but I loved the words on your menu and the whole vibe that comes from locally sourced goods. Your menu spoke of kindness and community. I accidentally left my phone in your bathroom when I left. Since we were on our way back to Chicago it was definitely something I needed to find and it could have been a completely stressful experience. It wasn’t. You weren’t just serving up food. I went out to the car so my friend could call my son and have him find my iPhone the thing but we never got to that. A lovely gentleman in a blue track jacket came knocking gleefully at the window. They had found it and he was so happy to tell me. When I came back in to get it your restaurant was packed and it was very busy and yet I felt like every person there had just stopped everything for a moment to find my phone. The excitement when they gave it back to me was amazing. It was a truly beautiful experience. I totally had the New York omelette, but what I was really ordering was the “cultivate kindness” printed right there on the menu. It was even better than the food and that’s saying something because those rosemary potatoes were the bomb diggity ;) Thank you 💙♥️💙“

“Amazing pork tenderloin sandwich. Also, to the cute woman sitting next to us at about 130pm on August 30th that was eating with your parents (presuming) that waved at me, just know, I came back to say hi, but you were already gone!“

“This is my favorite place for Povitica. My absolute favorite is the cream cheese with the apple cinnamon coming in a close second. Absolutely love their original coffeecake!! Psst! Mom might like the coffee cake for Easter, mother’s day, Christmas… in other words Mom will love it!!

Not sure which to buy? One awesome thing about Strawberry Hill is that they have samples of their bread so you can pick your favorite!

Several of their specialty breads are seasonal so be sure to check back! Check out their pumpkin in the Fall! Super friendly staff and they also ship!

Their povitica is also sold in smaller loaves that they can ship, so might be a good choice for any holiday gifts!“

“When you walk in you order through a kiosk, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, French fries and onion rings. If you bring your family it would be pretty pricey place to go, I didnt see any combos, and sauces are a additional 99 cents. Everything came out nice and hot, French fries had a bit too much salt, onions rings were pretty good“

“Delicious! Ordered the birria taco, grilled shrimp taco, Mexican corn and chips and guac. Everything was tasty, the birria taco was my favorite! The margs looked good as well. I would love to have one of these in Iowa, but I think it’s local to KC.“

“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“When I found out that Crumble Cookie has the Biscoff pie. I downloaded the app & ordered the pies, I signed up for curbside pick up when I arrived at the store I went inside & forgot I requested curbside pick up. I couldn't wait to get home & eat the pie. The biscoff is delicious, it was fresh, biscoff filling, whipped cream on top, with a biscoff cookie on top. I hate they don't have it this week. PLEASE MAKE THAT A PERMANENT MENU ITEM. I recommend this pie it won't disappoint.“

Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

“My husband and I dined here on Jan 17, 2026. Exceptional Tacos! We both got the fish and cheeseburger tacos. Both were yummy and fresh. Our favorite was the cheeseburger.
Our waiter went above and beyond! I wish I could remember his name to shout out some major kudos! 👏 👏 👏
