“I stopped in for my lunch break today (12:00pm) with my tow behind air compresser and had pull through parking which is great for me! I got 2 McRibs because I'm not a psyco! 🤣😂 The restaurant was clean and well stocked! I ordered on the kiosk and the food came out quickly! On my way out the door a nice young lady that was working offered to hold the doors for me seeing that my hands were full. Thank you for making my lunch break easy fast and clean! 👍🏻👌🏻“
“I was annoyed about my reward app and probably seemed really bitchy, but this young woman helped me out and was super kind. My twin 4 year olds wanted chocolate milk and she was awesome enough to bring to the table for them. She checked in on us after the food came out and even brought the boys happy meal toys. She seriously gave exceptional customer service when my attitude to start did not deserve it. I heard the staff talking and laughing with each other and it just seems like a really great staff they have here.“
“McDonald's is a global enterprise, so it's not surprising that it's success is driven by each franchise's ability to maintain the corporate standard. What sets this McDonald's apart. First, it is nestled in the heart of Overland Park where you can bound to a number of interesting places. Second, this McDonald's is incredibly clean and maintains this appearance endlessly. My children love the playplace at this location (something you see less and less these days) and the staff are incredibly friendly, engaging and are incredibly synchronized and caring for their customers (something McDonald's could incorporate at all its locations). All tolled, if you want a great place to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or some light atmosphere, visit this location; I hope you can be as impressed as I. Sometimes, its not just about the food...and sometimes, it is.“
“Manger Chad a good a good man. I messed up on my online order I put drive through instead counter pick up. One guy told me go through drive through but Chad seen I was in a moving truck it's no way i could fit. He took his time no attitude and worked it out for us. Thank you for your patience and customer service while you guys were super busy“
“I WISH I took pictures of my experience, sadly with everything happening currently I instead enjoyed my meal and got caught up in it all. The point is. This was one of the best experiences I have EVER had, ANYWHERE. I have no clue who it was, but we ordered out on 1-16-25 around 5:30-6 pm. The food was excellent, nice and warm just as always, HOWEVER it was how we got it that has turned me into a LIFETIME customer at this location. Whoever put the food in the bags seriously deserves a promotion, a raise, or very high praise AT THE LEAST. I have never been so impressed by how well my food was organized and packaged. It was literally a flawless meal. I sincerely hope that person is treated right and rewarded appropriately, because as soon as they're gone, so is my business.“
“Most of the time they are about four stars
Parking: A lot of open spaces on both sides of McDonald’s
Kid-friendliness: They have happy meals for kids here.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair accessible spaces“
“Came here at about 4:30pm on Sunday and the playplace was completely empty but very dirty. Trash and food were on the floor and a bunch of tables hadn't been cleaned off. The floor was also very sticky 😬 But I get it, being a Sunday evening and understaffed I totally understand that cleaning up the play area is the last thing anyone wants to/can do. I mean, I would much rather have customers in the drive-thru and dine-in be fully taken care of first instead of worrying about the cleanliness of the play area.... BUT at least maybe try to get someone to come in every so often to clean a couple things? 🤷🏼♀️ Just a thought 😊 Anyways, outside of that, my 6 year old had a lot of fun here and we ended up staying about an hour for him to run off some energy. He really enjoyed this playplace over the last 4 others that I've taken him to. It has a lot of different things for kiddos of all ages to do.“
“We come every morning to this McDonald's across the street from the mall we have nothing bad to say about this place The staff in the morning in the afternoon and in the evening are the most wonderful people we have met the most kind caring people and very helpful and big hearts we want to send it thank you to McDonald's staff at this restaurant from the Penn family thank you“
“Walking through the doors of this reimagined McDonald’s feels less like entering a quick-service chain and more like stepping into a modern brasserie that happens to wear golden arches. The lighting is soft yet intentional, illuminating clean lines of polished marble counters and seating upholstered with quiet luxury. Even the faint aroma carries a different timbre—still recognizably McDonald’s, but elevated, curated, and restrained.
The service sets the tone immediately. Instead of hurried exchanges across a counter, I was guided to my table by a host who treated my arrival with the same attentiveness you might expect at a Michelin-starred establishment. Menus, leather-bound with embossed lettering, offered familiar classics written with new gravitas: Angus Quarter Pounder with Artisanal Cheddar, Golden Fries—Triple-Cooked in Sunflower Oil, Hand-Spun Vanilla Bean Shake.
The first bite of the fries was a revelation. Each was crisp, golden, and seasoned with a measured hand—no limp edges, no oil-heavy aftertaste. It was as though McDonald’s had finally unlocked the Platonic ideal of its most iconic side. The burger arrived shortly after, plated with the finesse of a fine dining entrée: brioche bun gently toasted, lettuce stacked like architecture, beef patty cooked to precise juiciness. A drizzle of house-made “special sauce” brought a tangy brightness that danced on the palate rather than overwhelming it.
Perhaps the most surprising triumph was the dessert: the humble McFlurry, here presented in a chilled crystal coupe, folded with shards of Valrhona chocolate and a whisper of espresso powder. What is typically a sugar rush in a paper cup transformed into something layered, nuanced, and worthy of lingering over.
What struck me most, however, was not just the refinement of the food, but the reverence with which the experience was crafted. The staff treated the act of dining—yes, even at McDonald’s—as a ritual of comfort and joy.
In this five-star rendition, McDonald’s becomes not a guilty indulgence, but a celebration of the everyday elevated to the extraordinary. It is proof that even the most familiar flavors, handled with care, can earn a place among fine dining’s pantheon.

“I had some trouble figuring out the survey but wanted to at least take a moment to comment on the great service and tasty food we had this morning. We had a great time here. That the restaurant opened so early was helpful too. Thanks again!“
“In my opinion this is one of the best locations... I go to work at seven thirty and stop on my way occasionally... The manager is in the drive-through, and he is always so friendly.. I stopped there today and there were like 4 cars ahead of me, but you would never know because I think I waited maybe six minutes...great great service... The food is always hot as well...“
