“So I came in with my partner and their parents. We ended up with an incredible spread of food for all of us! My mother in law needs high protein, my father in law doesn’t like extreme spice, and I am gluten free and I just got out my wisdom teeth out recently so I can’t do heavy spice and warm temperatured food. I also need my food to be easy to chew with that.

I ended up with the gluten free egg drop soup, and then Min came over and talked about how they could modify a menu item from their authentic Chinese menu. I then received a menu item so good I’m jealous that I didn’t cook it. It was silken tofu with some sort of soft pork, I believe it was pork belly. It was gluten free, and savory and full of not spicy flavor. I will be getting this every time hands down.

My family got the general tso’s, orange chicken, and Mongolian shrimp and scallops, as well as pan fried dumplings. They loved their meals as well.

Moral of the story- I have come here a lot and it only gets better each time!“

He quoted the food would be ready in 15 minutes, which seemed a bit long. But it was actually ready in about 10 minutes. The food was phenomenal. I ordered Mongolian beef and Kung Pao chicken. “I have visited Lucky Wok twice since my first review...once for take-out and once for dine in. The food has been delicious every time, still 5 stars. The service is still poor. Don't get me wrong, the employees are super nice and try, but the overall service is poor and without flow. Both times that we have dined in our orders have came out separately. One person's meal is brought out and the next person's dish comes out 5-10 minutes later. I find it rude to eat when others are still waiting to receive their food but I also do not like to eat cold food because I waited. This really needs to be addressed by management.

I would still recommend the food, but maybe take-out is the preferred method?“

“Other reviewers are complaining about the fact that this isn't authentic Chinese food. Get over it. This neighborhood isn't bougie enough for that. Go somewhere that's gentrified, you hipsters. The food may be Americanized but who cares? When you've been partying and you need something quick and tasty to help you bounce back and you are in no mood to leave the house, these guys got you covered. We ordered the Pu-pu platter, some fried dumplings, sesame beef, and moo goo gai pan. They told us it would be 30-45 minutes before it arrived and they had it there in 20. The food was hot, tasty, and just what we needed. Super generous portions on the entrees too! We had plenty of leftovers for later. The dumplings, the pork ribs, and the teriyaki beef were especially good. I'm going to have to party super hard again sometime just so I have an excuse to order from here again.“

The quality, portions, freshness, speed of food of Jasmine Pavillon is normally A+++ plus. It’s one of my families favorites when we are craving delicious Chinese food here in Johnson County. Later in the evening I received a request in my email box asking “How did we do?”basically a survey about my experience and I gave an honest review. Whoever was messaging me apologize completely took into account what my issues were. Let me know that this was not something that they want to happen again they made me feel like they really care that I’m a customer I know this is just a restaurant to everyone else. However they really made me feel like the money and my opinion mattered. Not once did they blame give excuses or make me feel like it was probably just my issue. They really wanted me to know that their complete goal is customer satisfaction and that I know the quality of their food is important to them. I cannot believe how personable this experience was. I’ve been going here for a couple years and I can 100% say I will be there #1 fan for going back! I normally don’t take the time to write good reviews unless it really is worth it and I feel like this had to be had to be said. Any company that takes the time to actually review and respond to the customers is very rare these days. But what was best about our experience getting food here was that when my mother left her wallet sitting somewhere in the restaurant while waiting for our food, she got distracted and forgot it! She didn’t even realize until way late at night after close. Thankfully, whoever was working that evening noticed the wallet and put it away for safekeeping and my mother was able to get it back the following morning. She was extremely grateful and we admire the honesty and integrity of the employee and business! So glad they noticed the wallet and are clearly paying attention to their restaurant.“

“My wife and I found this place back in 2011, when we lived a few blocks away... but still drive across town to enjoy their food. Some of the best Chinese we've had in KC in this price range. Atmosphere is only a half-notch above your typical strip mall fare, but service is always great, and the food is consistently good.

UPDATE: We stopped by last week after a long time (we live on the other side of town)... food is still excellent. Talked to the owner for a bit, and it's obvious she and her husband are working very hard to take care of their customers.“

“I had the BEST vegan meal I have ever eaten in Kanas City at Bo Lings, Lenexa, last night.
Rebecca Clark is part of the family who owns BoLings, and she is vegan! Vegan Rangoons! Crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside tofu! Vegan General Tsos Tofu with the best ginger brown sauce. OMG!!!! When I get rice dishes out I usually receive 2 to 1 rice to tofu, leaving me with a lot of leftover, plain white rice. I really appreciated that my dish at Bo Lings-- on second serving -- had an equal amount of tofu as the first serving.
They have a lovely, quite dining room with booths, and are open on Sunday!

The lady verified that we wanted the lemon chicken and asked if we wanted to switch to an orange chicken or honey chicken and I'm so thankful I continued on with the Lemon Chicken. Got the sauce on the side. The chicken was crispy and delicious and the sauce was exactly the light lemon taste I was hoping for! The crab rangoon and fried rice were also on point! We're only in town for a short visit, yet we'll be sure to visit this place again!“
