“Last night (actually 1:00 a.m.) we were driving home from the fireworks display in Wamego. The only available eatery was McDonalds…on the turnpike…in the middle of the night. I wasn’t expecting much but was hungry enough to try. I think this was the best McDonalds I have ever had! Crazy, right?! I didn’t like having to use the kiosk (I prefer in person) but we did it relatively easy and I was able to create my burger just the way I like it. I regret that I didn’t take a pic to post; the burger was just fantastic and full of all the yummy extra lettuce/pickles (actually overflowing) and the fries were fresh and hot. 5 stars for McDonald’s, who’d a thought!“

“I walked into Circle Coffee for the first time ( all bright eyed and not decaffeinated, and I totally forgot to ask for my coffee decaf ( or what my sister calls sad coffee). By the time I realized, they’d already made my coffee and I was walking out the door— but instead of giving me the “well that’s on you” look, they smiled, told me to gift the original to a coworker ( who now thinks I’m the nicest person alive) and made me a fresh decaf for free. Heroes are baristas apparently. The shop itself is a whole vibe — calm, great lighting and welcoming atmosphere—enough ambiance to trick me into thinking I’m the kind of person who journals daily or could write a novel. Also, do NOT sleep on the strawberry goat cheese danish. It’s seriously delicious. I took one bite and considered writing it into my will. Life changing and I’m probably emotionally attached to it now. This place has great vibes, great people, and even better coffee and pastries. Highly recommend.“

“I wish they would bring back the Café Vanilla Frappuccino.. I love this team they are so wonderful, the manager isn’t a robot!!! One was a cow once but that was Halloween lol I usually go through the drive thru on my way to work and it is always such a great start to the day!! I still get the cafe vanilla we just have to build it a little and I hear it’s kinda tricky, so Starbucks let’s put it back on the menu and make a staple again!!“

“One of the things I love about Scooters is their app! I love the rewards and I especially love that in my birthday month I received up to $6 towards the drink of my choice! I think it's a great feature that they give you all month instead of just the day of your birthday. Everyone at the Topeka store (29th & Gage) is sweet and fun and they do have great job!“
