“Last night (actually 1:00 a.m.) we were driving home from the fireworks display in Wamego. The only available eatery was McDonalds…on the turnpike…in the middle of the night. I wasn’t expecting much but was hungry enough to try. I think this was the best McDonalds I have ever had! Crazy, right?! I didn’t like having to use the kiosk (I prefer in person) but we did it relatively easy and I was able to create my burger just the way I like it. I regret that I didn’t take a pic to post; the burger was just fantastic and full of all the yummy extra lettuce/pickles (actually overflowing) and the fries were fresh and hot. 5 stars for McDonald’s, who’d a thought!“

“The crew on 10/7/25 made a fantastic meal! The young lady at the window was courteous and accommodated a last minute change. The food was fresh, not greasy, not overcooked . Best I've had at LJS. Only complaint, get rid of the waffle fries and bring back the original!“

“I was very impressed soon as I walked in first of all the atmosphere of the store with the new rebuild was just amazing. I was also impressed and how the staff greeted me as soon as I walked through the door they made me feel welcome and made me feel like I was family. My food was fresh and hot everything was amazingly delicious. The guy I can't remember his name I think it was Paul maybe he was just he was amazing himself thank you so much Paul I hope that's your name. Overall I recommend this store to everyone I love everything about the store and everything they had going on they were so amazing and they even let me sit until I was able to get my ride later that evening and I bought more food and it was still hot delicious and thank you all so much.“

“I came in right after lunch rush on a Saturday and Elijah was holding down the fort solidly. Prompt, polite, and patient with the ordering process when I used my rewards app points for a salad. He made sure to check the ingredients of my order carefully when I mentioned my allergies, and the team made sure my food was made without my allergens. The fries and nuggets were hot, crisp, and delicious. Despite it being right after rush on a weekend, the restaurant was clean and well-kept, and all the crew were polite and focused. “I just wanted to take a moment to give thanks to the employees at this location, SE 29th st in Topeka. I just got back from picking up a pizza for my son. I visit frequently because my son is autistic and has food issues so pizza is one of his foods. So one particular employee always recognizes me and that's very nice to be recognized. But aside from that, I always get kindness and smiles from everyone. These days it seems like you can't go anywhere without being treated like garbage but not at this pizza hut. The employees here are a ray of sunshine poking out of a thunderstorm. And for a tired mom just trying to get her kid fed, that means the world. I don't have a lot of extra money to leave a tip but I promise you all, you are not going unrecognized. Thank you so much for your great service and pizzas that my son adores!“

“Gonna give a 5 star even tho my order was wrong because the shift leader mgr guy (i didnt get his name) went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. Very polite and efficient. The whole staff was super nice with smiles on their faces. So kudos to thats shift for awesome customer service. I will be returning and recommending. This was about 5pm friday so u can know who helped me.“

As many times as I have been to this sonic, I’m assuming that he’s new. Hope they hang onto him because he is such a good representation of the Sonic brand.“
