“Got Bourbon chicken, egg roll and some dumplings for later. The atmosphere is alright, nothing fancy but not the ugliest or worse looking place I've been in, very quite. It's hard to rate service since that can change day by day but for me I waited over 30 minutes to get any of my food (only 1 person ahead of me) and the lady taking my order was very nice. For the food; the dumplings where very good, the egg roll was a lot smaller than what I was expecting but pretty much what you'd expect and the rice was good too. The bourbon chicken was tender and delicious however I would have perfered more sauce on it or it swimming in it as it was a bit dry and needed it. All in all out of all the Chinese restaurants I've had this one would make the top 10 but not my top 5.“

“A really nice little place to order take out from or dine in at! Found this place based on reviews in the area, was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly, seating IS limited but it seems most people prefer carry out at this particular location. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Menu was very forward no complaints from me although I think it would be beneficial to show pictures of one dish from each category to help people not familiar with this type of food. Food price and serving portions were worth every penny, food was really good I would have said great but I think they are cooking on the side of caution and not really packing in the optimal amount of flavor they could be and also skimping on the heat. I had the Mein Fun and Orange Chicken both dishes were well presented and again good serving portions, shrimp in my Mein Fun was thoroughly cooked and did not have any odor to it (this is something I personally look out for and just a general note) I also got 1 pork egg roll, it was very crispy on the outside but not overcooked and hot on this inside (great job!! They have their fryer set right and it shows!!!)
My only real complaint is if I order the combination bowl I expect beef chicken and shrimp (this was not the case at this location) and not having a fountain machine means I was plagued with $1.25 canned soda.

“We love Golden City! They’re a great neighborhood restaurant. I really appreciate how easy their website is to order off of too. We normally get takeout but have dined there once, it’s a fast casual environment. The staff is always efficient and nice. And the food is crave-worthy. We especially love their wonton soup, eggrolls, crispy fried wontons, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and moo goo gai pan. We even got someone else’s order delivered to us by DoorDash mistake once and (& they told us to keep it) and all the new foods we tried were delicious too, like the ribs! I loved my pineapple fried rice and the server was kind about allowing me to do some modifications. We loved our Boba! The cups are adorable and the flavors are delicious! “This place is a gem, the food is amazing. I got takeout and everything was still hot by the time I got home to eat. Not only was the food amazing, but the portions are huge for the price. The restaurant is pretty small and the interior is dated but I was welcomed by the cashier and helped promptly. The menu is quite large, so deciding took some time but they will likely have your favorite Chinese dish. Highly recommend the crab rangoons, vegetable lo mein, and general tso chicken.

The Dry braised Green Cabage is good and decent with rice. The pep corn chili Sauce fish with many pep inside, the fish is wrapped with too much flour. A general good choice for Chinese cuisine in the area.“

“I go here about once a week. There aren't many asian buffets in the nky/cincinnati area. I've been to most of them and this by far is the best one around. If you get there around dinner switch time the food is always hot and fresh. Love the fact that they have frog legs on the dinner buffet as well.
