“Huddle House is my family’s absolute favorite restaurant in Owensboro. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! At our recent visit, the food was perfect! Even during a busy time. It was so good, I had to ask who made our meal and to thank the cook personally. Jeff Woods made our meal with considerations on how it looks and tasted. Nothing was just “slopped” on a plate and sent to a table. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Owensboro.”

“I have always loved Briar Patch. Since it’s been under new management some things have changed…good and bad. The hoppin John soup is not as good as it used to be. However the salad bar is very good and fresh . Has always been. Don’t care for the croutons now. Not crunchy at all. The beverage glasses are larger now and much better. Steaks are amazing! Overall a very good place to eat at! Friendly waiters and food comes out very hot and fast!”

“We came by last night around 6. We were seated in just a couple minutes. Our server was Anthony, he was very nice and attentive to our order. We got drinks in minutes, and food came out in bout 10-15 minutes after ordering. Everything was hot and delicious. He would check on us anytime he’d walk by after taking care of his other tables. Very pleasant experience all around, we will definitely come back.”

“A nice bar with a very friendly bar tender!! My first time and it won't be my last! I don't drink but I had a great first time experience! More than just a place to drink, they also have a stage for a live band, 3 pool tables, darts, and projector gaming with multiple types of games (not sure if I called the by the right name lol!) They also have bar seating and plenty of tables to sit at as well! To not be a drinker, I still had a GREAT time! To be honest, I was really dreading going because who want to be around a bunch of people drinking and not drink yourself!! Once we got there, my attitude changed!! For those that don't like to end there night at 12 a.m., they are open until 2 a.m.! If you have never been, you should definitely give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed!! “I’ve noticed in the last couple of months the workers no longer greet you when u walk in, it kind of an odd vibe. The cookies are tasty and when the person brings them to you, they are very friendly. It’s just a weird feeling when you first walk in because no one acknowledges you.”

“This place is so slept on. The service is excellent, the food portions are enormous and everything tastes fantastic! The takoyaki is the bomb and they do NOT skimp on the bonito flakes. The taro bubble tea is sweet and rich and the shrimp lover ramen comes in a massive portion and is divine. Will definitely return.”

They had ran out but one of the owners personally drove and got more so that she could have her decaf! By far one of my favorite local coffee shops in owensboro. They blew my expectations out of the water, slathered ‘em in pizza sauce and cheese and the some of the freshest toppings, and served them back to me with a smile. When I tell you my taste buds did the happy dance, I’m not even exaggerating. The crust was crispy on the outside, but like a soft pillow on the inside. The toppings are locked onto the pizza by a blanket of cheese, ensuring that you won’t have a mess on your plate after you get done with it. And the service was top-tier excellence. I cannot wait to try their sub sandwiches (I’m a sucker for a good stromboli) and especially their buffet bar. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I very highly recommend giving this local pizzeria a try. No matter what your flavor is, The Oven has you covered!”

I talked with our waitress and she checked a couple of tables that were soon leaving to make sure they weren’t reserved and got us the seats we needed. I believe her name was Rita. Despite us being a huge party (4 tables total), she always made sure drinks were filled and plates were cleared. I wasn’t trying to get attention. The people who own Ben’s are amazing people. And I said in the review I loved their business. I just have had a lot of trouble with some workers at the Meijer location. So I tried to leave a kind review with the issue hoping they could fix it. Just now a manager from Ben’s brought fresh pretzels and dipping sauces to my house and apologized. I’m so embarrassed bc I did not mean to make a big deal or to get anything out of them. I feel terrible that it posted on my fb page. But I wanted everyone to know how above and beyond they went for such a small thing. I’ve always loved them but now even more. Everyone go get Ben’s pretzels.”

Shout out to Lois at the front desk for her excellent service. She always greets you with a smile and a friendly comment. The facility was clean, beds comfortable and room quiet. It was nice, after very trying day, to come back to such a comfortable room. I loved the availability of a bath tub (clean). I will stay here every time that I need to be in Owensboro. Only suggestion...coke products please.”

“This DQ is the best one in Owensboro. Today I went through the drive thru to get my weekly Blizzard. I always get a Medium because I’m a creature of habit. But the girl at the window gave me a large and told me that she remembered the last time I came through she had gave me the wrong size and wanted to make up for it.
I didn’t even remember it until she said something. I’ve worked fast food and know how stressful it can be so when the size was wrong I just didn’t sweat it. Cause I’ve been there.
But she remembered! THAT is dedication to service and shows she wants to be as good at her job as she can. I will NEVER go through a different DQ drive thru. And the only thing bad about this whole deal…is I can’t even remember her name. ????‍♂️??‍♂️”

“Hey y'all Hardee's is rolling out their heart shaped biscuits! You can surely tell they are made with love! And they taste great too! If you've never had one I highly recommend because they are warm, light, and fluffy with that good old fashioned buttermilk taste. They melt right in your mouth with that golden buttery goodness! I opted for the steak biscuit with a side of biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were just too cute and I didn't want to cut into or bite into them. Just perfect for the month of February. And did you know they make their biscuits fresh every morning and their bakers even engage in contests? Yes they get nominated and win awards for their great biscuit making. Also the steak was great it's something I always crave and I keep coming back just to order that particular breakfast sandwich. It was breaded,golden brown,moist, juicy, and tender too. “I’m new to the area and was craving Chinese food last night. I got the combination beef with Chinese vegetables which was exceptional with the rice. I ordered a side of egg drop-wonton combo soup, which was amazing. The egg roll was a little soggy, but that’s my fault because I didn’t pick it up on time. Generous portions, and was ready in 10 min. I found a new place for Chinese and Owensboro!”

“I called the Burger King on West Parrish to let them know we’d have a large group of 30-40 people coming in around 8:30pm to hang out in the dining room. They were READY! They served us very quickly, and I didn’t hear one person say their order was wrong. Thank you, Burger King on West Parrish for welcoming us even though it had to be overwhelming and hectic and for making our end-of-the-school year hang-out fun! There were paper crowns for everyone! 😄. Truly great service with good energy and atmosphere!”
