“Briarpatch is a staple in our family. We went all the time when I was a kid, and we decided to go for my dad's birthday. I always loved being able to walk by the grill and watch the chef's cook, and I did the same this trip. The decoration had been changed, but the changes look wonderful. The food was fantastic, just as I remembered, and our waitress was attentive and quick. I was amazed that the salad bar was as fresh as it was with all the people that were eating the day we went. The strawberry butter was fresh and delicious. Steaks were cooked how we ordered them, and wow, the shrimp were FANTASTIC.”

“The Miller House is one of our all-time favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and never disappoints. Joseph has been our waiter the last 2 times we've been there, and he is the best! Very attentive and interactive. We love taking visitors and it's our go-to for my birthday every year.”

“We really enjoyed our lunch here. We were in town for a Jerry Garcia exhibit and the restaurant was playing the Dead when we walked in, so we knew right away we had picked the right place for lunch! I ordered spanikopita and it was delicious, and my husband ordered a turkey club sandwich, also delicious. We would definitely go back”

“The pit pie is pretty decent. I tend to get this when we order here. My wife and kids like the chicken strips. They are quite tender, the crust is flaky, and they are delicious. They are rather large as well.If it has been a while, give them a try!”

“There was a little hiccup when we arrived. They remembered the reservation being made but had failed to put it on the schedule. Regardless, we were seated only 10 minutes late. April was our server, and she was great. Our food arrived rather quickly for such a busy restaurant. Everything was served hot and prepared to our request. Definitely one of the best Red Lobsters we've experienced.”

“Escaped Nashville for a weekend away in Owensboro and absolutely loved this spot!! The weather was beautiful, so we decided to spend our time out on the patio. There were multiple patio tables and games available for anyone to enjoy on a first come first serve basis. We got there at around 11, so it was pretty empty and we could pick whichever table. The service was friendly and attentive without being annoying. We got a flight of ciders, which were delicious, but we were seriously blown away with the food. I recommend the brisket nachos and the brisket grilled cheese. Both dishes were huge portions and absolutely delicious. I will for sure be back if I'm ever back in town!”

“Sick vibes - don't be turned off by the colocation of this place with a hotel. It's a genuine downhome establishment, with killer food (I had the crab cake grilled cheese with kimchi, and it was rockin'). It also has a sincere and thoughtful grateful dead vibe, and beautiful hand-painted original portraits of bluegrass icons.Definitely worth a stop while you're at the bluegrass hall-of-fame next door.”
