“Miss Shirley's is the best donut place in town!! The staff are always friendly and smiling. Anyone coming through Alexandria should give this place a try. And while you're at it, buy at least 6! They have so many unique donuts, but have to give at least one of the long Johns a try!Have to get there before 10 or a lot of their variety is sold out already. That says enough for you!“
“This location has improved significantly! The service is now so fast, they usually have my online order ready to hand to me when I pull up, and the staff is much friendlier! I used to avoid going here because of bad experiences but they have redeemed themselves! And of course the coffee and donuts are DELICIOUS!“
“I actually had a great experience at this McDonalds today. Took drive thru coffees and mc muffins. The employees were so quick and friendly while taking the order. They gave exactly what I wanted and everything was fresh and Warm, which felt refreshing in this winter weather. I will definitely go back here again for drive thru breakfast.“
“Stopped on our way from Ohio to Nashville. Quaint little place. Friendly staff food was very good. Had the Burrata which was some toasted baguette pieces with mozzarella and tomato. Also had a Cobb salad and the special sandwich which was a toasted sandwich and cream of mushroom soup. Overall a very tasty stop.“

“This little jewel of New Richmond deserves your attention when visiting or passing through. After a bout ten visits here I must say this is one of the most charming places I have found in coffee shops for quite a while. Locally created and owned, the staff are competent and especially just kind people. The food turned out from the kitchen is always fresh, has a good presentation and is is well made and creative. I have found theirSumatran roast to be a wonderful whole bean to take home for my grinder and press. I recommend this spot if your feeling the desire for a breakfast sandwich with coffee e or latte. “Great little cafe located in a quiet part of downtown - not many places like it. Extremely friendly service and the sandwiches are always delicious. Came in for Mardi Gras and tried their sandwich, gumbo, and dirty rice combo, and loved all of it. More people need to know about this place.“
“Really nice coffee shop with balanced lattes. I had the lavender latte w/ oat milk (in video) recently, and it was great. Plenty of seating so this would be a great place to work, but it does get busy! They also have some fun specials throughout the year. My friend recently loved their pot o' gold latte.“
“Fantastic coffee, the service is amazing. I ordered my coffee and they actually brought it to my table. I brought my laptop in to do some work and the amount of people in and out while I was there was amazing for this tiny town. I could tell there were lots of regulars coming in for their daily fix. This is a place to visit if your ever in Alexandria Kentucky. The owner talked to everyone as if she had known then for years. I love the feel of this place. You need this in your life!“
