“Everything about my wife and I having a date night went flawless here. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Waited for nothing. The food was very very tasty. Wasn't too spicy nor bland. My wife had the sampler platter, Everything was enormous portions. If you don't have a huge appetite this meal could be shared with 2 or even 3. The leftover chicken makes awesome stir fry BTW. Pretty authentic taste on Everything. I had the catfish, nothing to complain about here as well. We did find out reservations are a must.“
“Its always been a great dining experience for us. Our side wedge salads were very tasty. My filet was delicious and cooked to perfection. My wife had the Scallop Risotto. It was very good as well although she found it a bit too salty. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and plenty. Topping it off was the banana cream pie. A very nice evening with plenty of time left to get to our show!“
“First time dining here with a friend that has eaten there nearly a hundred times over the decades. The place was busy on a Sunday before 5pm. The waiter, Chris, took outstanding care of us. He was extremely personable and attentive. The Chicken Alfredo was the best I’d ever had! The atmosphere made me feel like family. I can’t recommend the place enough. You will not be disappointed!“
“This Carrabbas location always seems to do it right every time. Tonight was excellent, from our wine all the way to the dessert. The service was spot on, our waitress Colleen was wonderful and super helpful, she really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable Saturday night out. There's tons of nice happy hour choices too. I cant recommend this place enough.“
“We had a reservation and we still had to wait about 45 mins, outside of that the experience was great. We had a couple of mimosas out on the patio while we waited and our order was quickly taken once we were seated. The owner was very nice he made rounds throughout the restaurant, greeting people and thanking everyone for coming in. He stopped by our table and brought out a couple of appetizers for us to try for the wait time inconvenience. The entrees were great, I definitely would returnParking: Free parking lot across the street“
“This is a high -end restaurant. Sitting along the waterfront on the Ohio River, in Newport KY. With a river view. In door & Out- door seating in the warmer weather. I take my family here on Birthday's. The food and service is fantastic. It's very expensive, food and service is worth every penny. Dan was our server, the last two times we were there. I highly recommend the two lobster tails with mixed vegetables with a side of asparagus. And the king crab legs. My wife had a filet mignon and it melted in your mouth. Sorry I did take pictures of the food. I will next time is awesome. It comes and we eat lol. Pictures are from my mom's dad and sister's Birthday's. My mom's was 2023 Dec 31st new Year Eve. They only served off a special menu that night. We couldn't get king crab legs. FYI“
“i got so excited when i found out there was a dumpling spot close by, but was dismayed when i saw some less than stellar reviews. i didn’t let these sway me from trying it out for myself, however, and thank god i didn’t. we had the black truffle and pork soup dumplings, fried wontons, orange, and shrimp in fruit sauce, and everything far exceeded our expectations. the fruit shrimp was my order, and it was one of the most unique flavor profiles i’ve ever had. in addition to this, the restaurant is in fine condition and the location is beautiful. we were lucky enough to go on one of the first warm days in the year, and got to sit on the back patio on the river.“
“There are four of us that go every Monday evening. The food is delicious; we usually have chicken or steak fajitas and frozen margaritas for $3.99 on Mondays. The staff is friendly and very attentive to needs. The restrooms are cleaner than any restaurant I've been in and they smell very good. I guarantee you will love this restaurant.P.S. if you shop Kroger Crossroads, the back of your receipt will include a $5.00 coupon.“
“This experience was such a pleasant surprise! It was a beautiful and intimate location and the food was fantastic! Parking is tricky but we made it work. The tables are a little close to where you can hear the conversations next to you but it seems you can choose a table that fits best for your liking. The hostess and waitress were excellent! Looking forward to going back!“
“Very good food. Had lunch there. I'm GF and they claim they are not. You can steer your way thru the menu and find options for GF. I had the scallop luncheon. Comes with clear soup and a salad ....very good and I did not get sick! Entree comes with rice and veggies.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“We had a business lunch here and it was perfect. The waiter was very attentive and quick to do whatever we needed. It was nice and quiet while also being somewhat private. Great food!!!Parking: Parking is provided free in front of the restaurant“
“We always like this place, but thiscwas the first timecmy wife tried the steak. She loved it and said its comparable to Ruby's. I got the ribs, and they were decent. I'm pretty particular on those, so I'd have preferred some of the sauce baked and caramelized a bit rather than just slop it on after cooking. Still good, though.Overall, a good night. It always is.“
“I was surprised to find that Pelican had a fire in their downstairs location. You have to go around back "upstairs". It's well worth it. The hostess was smart and beautiful. The manager friendly. Our server Carrie did a fantastic job. The food was great. I'll be back!“
“I stopped by at lunchtime and the place was a ghost town. I figured out why when I tried to order. Not only have they jacked the prices but they changed the menu again. You can no longer get the broiled flounder, it's fried only. So much for trying to eat healthier! I left and went elsewhere for lunch. Pretty sure this was my last visit here.“
“I really enjoy this location. My first experience at the other location on the river was terrible. My taco salad was literally wet from the lettuce and soggy so I never went back. I am so glad I decided to try this location. The service is fantastic! ?? The manager or owner always waits on me for carry out orders, he is so warm, welcoming and professional. The Queso Fundido is my new favorite. It’s delicious, well made, great portions and a great value for the money. Check them out you won’t be disappointed ???Parking: Always plenty of parking close to doorWheelchair accessibility: No stairs easy to get in“
“Favorite take out and dine in restaurant for my family. We are so happy to have New Garden and all the staff as part of our community and providing warm service and good food. Food is always fresh. Large portions, super tastey. Favorite place for take out sushi and hot sour soup on cold days! I would recommend anything from their menu and it will be prepared well.Kid-friendliness: They have a nice little kids menu for the picky eaters.“
“I mostly order food online but I gotta say this is the best Chinese food I ever have and today was the first time coming here in person I been to this area but never came in but the lady of super friendly and looks good inside and customers are friendly too I recommend to come this place trust me there food is good come and try our!!!!!“
“This place has consistently put out great seafood year after year. Every time I go the kitchen has cooked the seafood perfectly (and that's not an easy thing to do). Excellent food at great prices. My favorites are the calamari, Po' Boys and the coconut shrimp. Go and you will not be disappointed.“
“Seriously one of the best cheese burgers I've ever had! Lots of options to choose from including some for little ones who are picky eaters. Everything was fresh and tasted great; even the potato wedges, which always seem too hard and stale at some places.“
“I need more places like this to still be around. Untouched, by the modern craze of sleek design. Unphased by the march of progress. Like a cliff balking at the endless lashing waves, unbeknownst to its own slow erosion. There were no preconceived ideas of a grander purpose. No regurgitated corporate slurry about commitment or family. Long John silvers is a place you go, to shove food in your face, and leave. This one was, at least.“
“This place has went down, the bread is so hard and both the managers are so nonchalant and very unfriendly, niether of the 2 greeted not one customer that I seen or even cracked a smile, so unpleasant as Managers ! Carl walked around like security at this point just throw him on a security uniform, and for Kathy she’s a Karen !!!! They should have kept her in the kitchen as a kitchen manager so is not ppl friendly at all !!!!“
“Food was great. I love the salmon bowls! Baja or southwest my go to. I always bring home fish and chicken. My family loves LJSMy order was mixed up and I could not get anyone to pick up the phone so the next day I went in with my receipt and they made it right. Of course I ordered another salmon bowl. They are so good!“
