While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. At our request, he described different dishes, telling us what he recommended and what to expect. He was attentive without hovering. The food was as outstanding as was the service. While the shrimp toast appetizer, Wong's chicken, and Clay pot were delicious, beautifully prepared, we were overwhelmed by the presentation, taste, and experience of the coconut bread pudding with rum sauce. “Hidden gem has been found.

Probably the best Chinese food I've had. Got the General Tso's, lightly breaded, flavorful sauce. The mushroom chicken loaded with veggies, and bursting with flavor.

The highlight for me was the szechuan pork dumplings. Flavor bombs that left your mouth delightfully tingly in only the way szechuan can.

“Went for my first time tonight, very happy. Lady who fixed my order was very kind and patient as I got myself together after braving the cold weather, and trying find my glasses, haha. I got noodles, sesame chicken, and coconut shrimp. All of it was hot and tasted good. Menu seems like tradition Chinese-American restaurant favorites, and is very reasonably priced for the portions. I got enough food for 2 dinners, and spent less, before tip, than I do at most places for 1 meal. The dining area was very clean and cozy. Overall, I'm very glad I stopped in and will be back!“

Jason was super helpful and even let me know when I had ordered too much food and fixed my order, which turned out to be the proper amount. He even threw in some Crab Rangoon on the house. I'll add this place to our usual rotation when I need to feed the staff. 👍“

“This is my daughter's favorite Asian food in northern KY. We finally went with her for a family meal. Very quiet inside, most people appear to order take-out. Friendly service and very good food. I appreciate Asian with a good amount of well-cooked vegetables, as that's usually lacking at the places I go. It wasn't quite spicy enough for me, so I'll ask for hotter next time. We'll definitely be back.“

“I've personally been coming here for years. That have really good food, especially the crab raggoon. Best rice you can find in the state. I would give them 5 stars all the way across, but they definitely can work on their cleaning and their pickup area other than that. Good people, good atmosphere, peaceful location.“

“Been going here the last 12 years of my 20 of existing, I’ll be honest when I say this place hasn’t been perfect, I’ve seen its ups and downs through the years but always remained a customer. I’m writing this review now to say GO TO ICHIBAN, this place has really stepped its game up beyond a 3.6 star review. The food is always good (be considerate of what time you go, it’s a buffet, normal meal times it’s always sooooo good!!), the owner is so kind and friendly and she provides a great service!! It’s a buffet but she still runs around to ask customers what’s missing and if it’s not out there she will make it to order! And for the amount of food you get, in this economy, you cannot beat the price. Ichiban really has became one of my weekly go toes in the Alexandria - cold spring area. Thank you Ichiban <3!“
