“I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience here. The food is always consistently solid and good the staff is always very helpful and whether dining in or ordering out the food is always packaged with care and the restaurant is always clean really everything I'm looking for. We are the food weekly from here for work and have gone several times on my own it's a very solid choice for the area If you want some Chinese food.“

While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. At our request, he described different dishes, telling us what he recommended and what to expect. He was attentive without hovering. The food was as outstanding as was the service. “Went for my first time tonight, very happy. Lady who fixed my order was very kind and patient as I got myself together after braving the cold weather, and trying find my glasses, haha. I got noodles, sesame chicken, and coconut shrimp. All of it was hot and tasted good. Menu seems like tradition Chinese-American restaurant favorites, and is very reasonably priced for the portions. I got enough food for 2 dinners, and spent less, before tip, than I do at most places for 1 meal. The dining area was very clean and cozy. Overall, I'm very glad I stopped in and will be back!“

“I honestly love the food at this place. This may be one of the best Chinese Cuisine spots in Cincinnati. Their Lo Mein and Rice has always been cooked perfectly and they didnt skimp out on the meat. I have noticed the quality of alot of Chinese restaurants have gone downhill over the years but this place fills the gap. Prices have gone up on all Chinese food but this place actually can justify theirs.“

“This is our go-to Chinese take out. The food is always good and both my wife and kids enjoy it. The kids get the chicken lo mein and sweet and sour chicken that they call Chinese chicken nuggets. The lo mein is flavorful and the noodles are tender. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy.

I got the beef with broccoli and pork fried rice. The beef was flavorful and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, still just a little crunchy and bright green.

My wife gets the bourbon chicken which is her favorite. It is delicious. She also ordered the cheese wontons (crab Rangoon) and they were crispy and full of filling. The pork egg rolls were good too.“

“Ordered a large carryout for around 20 people on a Friday night and they were easily able to accommodate. Jason was super helpful and even let me know when I had ordered too much food and fixed my order, which turned out to be the proper amount. He even threw in some Crab Rangoon on the house. I'll add this place to our usual rotation when I need to feed the staff. 👍“

“I have to say, I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants over the years, but I’ve never been treated as well as I was today. The gentleman up front taking orders was incredibly kind—he kept bringing me little bites to enjoy while I waited for my food. We had a wonderful conversation about everything from DoorDash drivers stealing orders to all sorts of other topics.
To top it off, the food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the curry chicken, and oh my goodness, it was incredible. I’m heading straight back there after work tonight to try something else—I can’t wait!“

“Most of the food was very good. It was a Sunday afternoon so the food rotated quickly and was fresh and hot. The service was amazing. The restaurant is definitely a little dingy, dark, and the booths are all broken down, but the price was right for what we got.“

I’m writing this review now to say GO TO ICHIBAN, this place has really stepped its game up beyond a 3.6 star review. The food is always good (be considerate of what time you go, it’s a buffet, normal meal times it’s always sooooo good!!), the owner is so kind and friendly and she provides a great service!! It’s a buffet but she still runs around to ask customers what’s missing and if it’s not out there she will make it to order! And for the amount of food you get, in this economy, you cannot beat the price. Ichiban really has became one of my weekly go toes in the Alexandria - cold spring area. Thank you Ichiban <3!“
