“The food here is absolutely amazing. Best Sesame Cold Noodles I've found in the city, get an order to go and they taste even better after a night in the fridge! Beware, the spice levels on some of the food can get quite high, but the flavor is second to none. Highly recommend the Dry Chili Chicken(small kick) and the Sichuan Sizzling Beef(bigger kick) for first timers.

Rated down a bit on atmosphere because it is fairly basic inside and on hot days it feels like the air conditioning needs a little attention. Also the lack of a wet bar with fountain drinks is probably annoying for some people who expect to drink more than just water.“

The Red Dry Chili Chicken is a standout, and the Sweet and Sour Pork ribs are children's favorite. Pepper Beef is always my favorite. “If you’re looking for atmosphere this may not be your place. But, if you’re looking for really good Chinese food, you’ve found it. “A really nice little place to order take out from or dine in at! Found this place based on reviews in the area, was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly, seating IS limited but it seems most people prefer carry out at this particular location. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Menu was very forward no complaints from me although I think it would be beneficial to show pictures of one dish from each category to help people not familiar with this type of food. Food price and serving portions were worth every penny, food was really good I would have said great but I think they are cooking on the side of caution and not really packing in the optimal amount of flavor they could be and also skimping on the heat. I had the Mein Fun and Orange Chicken both dishes were well presented and again good serving portions, shrimp in my Mein Fun was thoroughly cooked and did not have any odor to it (this is something I personally look out for and just a general note) I also got 1 pork egg roll, it was very crispy on the outside but not overcooked and hot on this inside (great job!! They have their fryer set right and it shows!!!)
My only real complaint is if I order the combination bowl I expect beef chicken and shrimp (this was not the case at this location) and not having a fountain machine means I was plagued with $1.25 canned soda.

Overall I would recommend this to friends or family in the area and look forward to eating here again and again“

“We love Golden City! They’re a great neighborhood restaurant. I really appreciate how easy their website is to order off of too. We normally get takeout but have dined there once, it’s a fast casual environment. The staff is always efficient and nice. And the food is crave-worthy. We especially love their wonton soup, eggrolls, crispy fried wontons, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and moo goo gai pan. We even got someone else’s order delivered to us by DoorDash mistake once and (& they told us to keep it) and all the new foods we tried were delicious too, like the ribs! “We went here, to eat in, last Sunday. The server was friendly and helpful. The crab rangoons and fried pork wontons were fabulous! I loved my pineapple fried rice and the server was kind about allowing me to do some modifications. We loved our Boba! The cups are adorable and the flavors are delicious! I have never once had a bad experience with this place. This place has become my go-to Chinese food they have so many options. I usually get the sweet-and-sour chicken and fried rice, chicken is hot and fresh The sweet-and-sour sauce is flavorful tangy sour with sweetness lightly salty. The rice is always fresh and hot perfectly cooked. Food is a great price for the portion sizes of food I always end up with leftovers which are just as good later on, when I’ve gotten takeout, the staff is always so nice and sweet. The restaurant is clean and stocked. I would absolutely recommend this place to people and have already!.“

“This place is a gem, the food is amazing. I got takeout and everything was still hot by the time I got home to eat. Not only was the food amazing, but the portions are huge for the price. The restaurant is pretty small and the interior is dated but I was welcomed by the cashier and helped promptly. The menu is quite large, so deciding took some time but they will likely have your favorite Chinese dish. Highly recommend the crab rangoons, vegetable lo mein, and general tso chicken.

“Many American style Chinese food like Pandas. We tried the Guo Bao Pork as it's crispy with sweet and sour sauce. The Hot sour noodles are all right but we hope there will be some more sauce. The Dry braised Green Cabage is good and decent with rice. The pep corn chili Sauce fish with many pep inside, the fish is wrapped with too much flour. A general good choice for Chinese cuisine in the area.“

I have actually been coming here for years it's a good little spot and if you wanna sit and eat it's usually not that crowded they mainly do take out and drive-through.“

Got chicken lo mein (spicy), an order of 8 steamed pork dumplings with dipping sauce, and an egg roll; all amazing. The chicken lo mein was a small order but still had a lot in it. Ready in about 5 minutes, granted there was only 1 other customer there at the time. $19 total bill for all 3 items.“

“I took my 2yr old and 7yr old here for lunch and they had a fun time cooking their own food. We got the bento lunch and it was delicious. I recommend the miso broth and spicy chicken. The mushroom broth is very light and tasty too. They keep napkins in a drawer under the front of the table which was very helpful with kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son was fascinated by the robot server. We will definitely be back soon. One of the best dining experiences we've had in a long long time.“
