“Wow, where do I begin? I was there for lunch, and the garage doors were open which created a great atmosphere. The food was flat out amazing and so flavorful. The wings were also on point. I would not typically order wings from a taco joint, but after being advised they're great, we tried them and I can't disagree! Magnificent. And the sauce they serve is far from a conventional wing sauce, but it's delicious! I highly recommend this place in every aspect. Oh, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. “El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“

“The food was amazing! Their rice is better than ANY other. Loved the black beans. We started with chips and guacamole. It was thick and smooth and delicious. We had a veggie meals, bean burrito, cheese enchilada with rice and bean.??My husband had 2 enchiladas, refried beans, and rice!! We will be back with friends and give a shout-out to our hungry neighbors.

Vegetarian options: You will not be disappointed with the rice and beans alone! Gauc was the best!!!

Parking: It is located in the strip mall there is more than enough parking for everyone.
