A couple of my friends even decided to ditch their usual Chinese food providers and start ordering from China King from now on.“

“My husband and I are in the area for vacation and came upon this restaurant as part of a Google search for dinner options. We liked the idea of being right on the water. We actually ended up eating inside, and at first, we were unsure because it was very loud, however, that quickly became a non-issue as we met our amazing Waiter Rob Butrum (sp?) He was friendly, kind, knowledgeable of places to see and visit and turns out knows some people from where we're from! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, joked with us and met every request with a smile and quickly. If amazing people isn't enough, the food and cocktails were awesome too! I had a blueberry lemonade cocktail and my husband had an equally delicious and well balanced drink called a Goose Juice!! We had shrimp cocktail, a ribeye sandwich and a grill fish meal. Their Homemade beef vegetable was so good, I bought a quart to go!! We had a deliciously tart keylime pie for dessert that just topped off an already WONDERFUL experience. Overall, we do recommend this place and their food, all around friendly staff, our awesome server Rob and the beautiful atmosphere!“

Was reluctant to go in because sea food restaurants with a drive thru are usually not great, and the place was pretty empty . But the food was great and so was the service. Personally, I order the Fish and Clams when I go, you dont have to order that but you're also entitled to have a wrong opinion of the best thing to eat, Perfect place for a 3rd date, would willingly fight a goose in the parking lot to get inside if I had to, inside its exactly what you would expect... old people taking up all the tables like some sort of early dinner club, I believe I was the only person not wearing geriatric tennis shoes out of all of my visits there. I feel like the restaurant is slightly misleading because they dont actually have whale on the menu, it seems like basic white fish, the same as the old people inside (basic and white). Overall have went, have returned and Lord willing will return again.“

“This is my favorite place for fish! For whatever reason I ordered a fish box for 2. Then drove over an hour to meet a friendThe fish had separated, not 1 big piece of fish for sandwich. However, the awesome fish boxes I do get far outweigh the m ot so good. I will be back!

Our entrees included scallops and grilled shrimp, rainbow trout, salmon, and bone in pork chop. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service..(thank you, Hallie, for your first-class service! You did a great job which added to our lovely evening.) Also, Michelle, who was the superstar manager on duty came by more than once to ensure everything was delicious and if we needed anything. “You just cannot beat the excellent service and superbly prepared meals provided while dining at Mitchell’s Fish Market in Louisville, KY. This is by far my favorite place to have a nice meal. Pleasant and clean atmosphere, no fishy smells, like many seafood restaurants. The Staff are all awesome! All are friendly and make you feel welcome and important, going out of their way to be friendly. The Manager always comes to the table to see how we are enjoying our experience. Dine inside or outside on the covered patio. There seems to always be something going on in the courtyard to keep you entertained while your food is being prepared. Speaking of preparing food, it is always cooked to order. If you have not taken yourself and family there, you should do so soon. You will be pleased that did.“

“I love the ease of ordering it online. You have the option to pay at the store. The food is always ready by the time I get there. It is a large portion of food. Usually 2 meals for me. If you get a combination meal you get an entree, fried rice, an eggroll, and a canned drink all for the one price. It is definitely a take out place. No seating to speak of really. The food is very good. My favorite is the chicken with mixed vegetable combo.“
