“We’ve been to the Gus’s in Memphis as that’s where I’m from. This location is just as phenomenal! Brandon our server was top notch!! He knew the menu, was so friendly with my kids and held great table conversation! That man is going places! We started with the fried green tomatoes and it took me back to my childhood. After our delicious lunch we got the ChocolateChess pie!! We took it home since we were so full it was so so delicious! We will definitely drive the 35 minutes back and hope Brandon will be our server again! I wish I could give this 10 stars!“
“Boy oh boy, where do I even begin? Raising Cane's... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you deep fry your chicken and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around the Cane's sauce, and that gorgeous Texas toast. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you go out of business. You had a rough backstory, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing after hours, you're a great snack and food place, sometimes I even call you a restaurant. I forever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day go out of business. I would sacrifice my own life if it were the one thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first forgot to give me Cane's sauce and it's like my heart broke into a million pieces. But a year still fell from my right eye when I had you for the first time, because deep down, my glorious sanctuary deserved it. I just wanted you to give me my 3 finger combo. Then alas, you did, my sweet little kitten gave me my food and I rejoiced. 2019 was a hard year for us baby, but in 2020 you made history happen. You attracted so many big backs and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious sanctuary exclaim these words, "YOU ARE MY ONE LOVE!" “I'm so impressed with the staff that was on duty the evening we came to celebrate my sons birthday. Our group of kids made a mess, but the counter clerk was absolutely the most gracious about it and insisted she take care of the clean up!! They had our tailgate food hot and ready as requested. “Walked in today and there's a field trip in the lobby. Like 100 chattering 6 year olds. They left as I was ordering. Service was still extremely friendly, food still came up fast, and there were clean tables by the time I was sitting down. Within 5 minutes of the kids leaving, it's like they were never there. This place is amazing.“
“The cayenne ranch was overrated in my opinion. Also, the slim sauce is not good unless you love a tomato sauce undertone. Overall, my favorite sauce was Parmesan garlic. Food came out quick, place was clean, they had the game on, and an array of fountain drinks (including 2 ice dispensers!)Honestly, the best part of the meal was the Texas toast, I swear they had used real grass fed butter with a garlic undertone.“
“I placed a catering order for my daughter’s sweet 16. Shaq was great! He gave me his recommendations to where I did not over spend. The owner then called me and did the same thing so I know they aren’t money hungry. I ordered the perfect amount. Everything was great! I would do it again in a heartbeat.“
“Usually I'm a Grimes goer, but hitting up the original joint is always nice. Not a fan of their tenders. That's where Grimes has them beat. The fried mushrooms are juicy, hot, and thrown into the fryer as soon as you order them. Good stuff. And of course the bone-in thighs are the star of the place. They offer keels which are a fantastic alternative to breasts. Much less bones to remove. Awesome spot!“
