“This is 9ne of my favorite little taverns. Its small but has a great atmosphere. Its has indoor and outdoor seating. I love sitting on the porch. The food is always amazing. I usually get the sliders with the side salad and it never disappoints. I've tried a bunch of other things and never once been disappointed. We had some wings today and they were some of the best I've had in a while. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't.“

“Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. Annie M was very attentive, kind and had a very happy face. For everyone, actually. I just wanted to say how pleased and surprised we were with how good everything was. “We ate here for the first time last night , it was packed but we were seated right away and they moved us over to be closer to heat with no issues whatsoever; our server Emily was super sweet and the hostess as well !!! “I knew it would be a cool place when the door knobs were gas pumps. Everything was detailed down to the napkin rings. It lived up to its name for sure. The food was amazing! Our waitress Cozy, I can't say enough about her. She had the best personality, super sweet and when we had decided what we wanted she definitely told us about our choices, like how they are prepared, what they come with and if she had tried them herself. “Shout out to Peg and the team at Tags Cafe. They did an amazing job catering our staff breakfast at Diamond Oaks Career Campus. Everyone loved it! Definitely recommend!“

“A dinner experience and vintage train ride is raar and this one was a real treat. Our group of four dressed for the part in 1940s costume and sat in the music car.
The music talent was a nod to the Andrew’s sisters of the same time period. They were excellent. Our group had prime rib with baked potatoes and green beans. A salad was served separately before the main course. All food was very tasty!
We were celebrating a birthday in our group, so the singers sang their rendition of Happy Birthday. Loved it!
The meal ended with delicious desserts to include chocolate pecan pie and strawberry cheesecake. Yum!
A history of the train and area was intertwined in our experience and was so interesting. Highly recommended this tour. Best if in a group of four as groups of two is hard to get a table set up for that because of the configuration of the train cars.“

They are all so so kind, especially the two lovely ladies who normally work register/food hand-off. They remember my name and my go-to orders, and always take the time to ask me about my day with genuine interest, even if they are busy, and while still maintaining efficiency. 10/10 service experience every time !!“

“This was a very horrible dining experience we ordered there ribeye and added there bacon jam to steak when steak came out both were missing bacon jam the waiter took off before we could tell him finally got the bacon jam on side my steak was tasteless the salad maby had 5 sprigs of cheese on it garlic vegetables almost tasteless small portions when waiter brought our bill he held it in his hand not showing us and said I will take your payment my husband said can I see bill first lol oh ya and handed it to us 85.00 the steaks were 32 00 a piece the menu in restaurant said 27.00 and on line menu said they were 26 the waiter said inflation let me get manager who said the online menu was not there’s in one breath and in next breath said said he would let them know to change it and walked off we were from Illinois visiting ark encounter it was our anniversary so I will be sure to tell everyone in Illinois if they visit Don’t eat here and I scratched out tip on receipt I always leave an 18 to 20 percent tip but not today here’s your tip you are rude and outrageously priced“
