“We did send a meal back to reheat so we were unable to eat together. Because of this, the meal was removed from our bill! Additionally, a $15 bday gift was applied. Hubby's steak was perfectly cooked & tasty. We especially like the roasted Shishito peppers. Our server, Emily, was attentive to us & the entire room she served. Andrew, the bartender was very nice & helpful w our OF decisions. We tipped, of course, on the total bill, not amount after credits. I was concerned there might be too many children in the restaurant for an evening meal but suppose this cannot be helped since this is a hotel. Turned out, not an issue at all. What a lovely place and atmosphere!“

“My husband and I came in tonight for an early Mothers Day celebration. they were PACKED but still provide amazing service! We got seated quickly, our server was amazing, our drinks and apps came out within a few minutes, my margarita was delicious and not skimping liquor, and our food was amazing! “Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. My food could not have been taken care of worse. I ordered a 16 oz. sirloin cooked medium, and was brought a well done steak. Not really a big deal, it happens. They returned the steak and a manager brought me out another one. I cut through it and it looked better and told the manager it was alright. The more I cut through it, the more I was able to tell that it was just as well done as the first steak. I let my waitress know (who was very kind and very helpful and genuinely felt sorry) and had her return it and not worry about bringing me another one. The manager returned to tell me that “since the first steak was returned half eaten, I can discount your bill”. The steak was not half eaten. I returned both steaks almost completely untouched and maybe tried 1-2 bites of each to see if it was okay to eat, so I wasn’t really sure where she got that I had eaten half of the first steak. Again, the waitress we had, who I think was a blonde lady named Bobbie (I could be wrong with that name) was very kind and felt sorry, but the manager I dealt with felt like she was very irritated to have to deal with me having 2 wrongly cooked steaks. She took off the price of the steaks off my bill, but still made me pay for my soda. No apology and nothing to make up for me sitting in there for over an hour and not getting any dinner. I guess the manager just wasn’t having it. Again, thank you to the waitress we had, she was very kind. But I feel like I should’ve at least had my soda taken care of for them screwing up my dinner and ultimately not getting anything at all. Very disappointed“

My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“

“In this day and age, it is rare to find a fast food restaurant that provides great service and great food at a great price much less do so on a consistent basis. My wife and I recently began dining at the Frankfort Captain D's Versailles Road location and I can not adequately describe just how fantastic our dining experiences have been here. When we find a restaurant that excels in all areas like Staxx (Frankfort), Raising Canes (Nicholasville) and every Chic-fil-a location, we can't wait to sing its praises and look forward to returning. This Captain D's is just that great. The food is always cooked hot and fresh to order, served at your table on actual plates in a spotless restaurant that plays great music. I really can not say enough good things. We drive past another Captain D's that is ten minutes closer to get to this location and will continue to do so. It really feels live a 5-star experience and should probably win the award for best Captain D's in America!“

“Met my son, daughter in law and two grandsons there. They take such great care of customers. Friendly, food is delicious. They handle smaller kids so well. Family friendly or sit at the lovely bar. Lots of tvs for sports ?
