While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. At our request, he described different dishes, telling us what he recommended and what to expect. He was attentive without hovering. The food was as outstanding as was the service. While the shrimp toast appetizer, Wong's chicken, and Clay pot were delicious, beautifully prepared, we were overwhelmed by the presentation, taste, and experience of the coconut bread pudding with rum sauce. Sometimes you get spice appropriate to what you ordered and sometimes there is no spiciness to be found. Still very tasty even without the heat, but if you like your food spicy it can be disappointing.“

“Im picky about potato salad and theirs is so so good. The meats are all so good it's hard to chose. The cornbread is Grandma approved and she is picky about her cornbread 91 and she loved it. She also had the chicken and loved it. The deserts are nice size and yummy my husband had the chocolate cake said it was really good Granma and I had the banana pudding very good. Wish their prices were a little lower but hey all restaurants are now expensive but the food is worth it. Yummy 😋“

“My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! She got all of our orders correct and even helped me order safely w food allergies. The chefs also did a wonderful job. I have never in my life had Verde sauce as great as they have here. So if I don’t eat here, I always pick up plantains and Verde to take home. Their food is authentic and delicious. I’ve thought about everything they have here, but that Verde sauce.Is everything..“

“This used to be one of our favourite breakfast joints but the last couple of times had been less than stellar. That was a few years ago so we decided to give it another try. I'm happy to say they've regained their old form and this trip as everything was as good as we remembered from a long time ago. We especially always liked their breakfast and was what we got here. I tried a Kentucky Hot Brown which was a bed of biscuits covered with 2 fried eggs, bacon, turkey, cheddar jack, hollandaise sauce, crab, and tomatoes which left off of mine. It was a superb breakfast as it had a great base of biscuits and all of that delicious meat on there. They put just the right amount of sauce on there as it flavoured it perfectly without overpowering it. High recommendation for that dish. My wife loves their breakfast bakes and enjoyed the Surf And Turf one. The service was great the atmosphere was tremendous, and for us the Bellevue Bistro is back in the upper echelon of breakfast restaurants.“

I usually get the chicken katsu or tonkotsu ramen, but I'm also down with their donburi. They have a nice selection of sake, other wines, cocktails and beer, including from Japan.

The atmosphere is perfect for friendly dining conversations with soft music playing in the background.“

“The gotta melt was fantastic! Hot cheesy and the spicy mayo was fantastic. The chips as the side was a little disappointing they were fine just a little stingy with them for the price. Ate at the bar and Any was a fantastic server and I was able to sample several beers to make my choice. The beer was outstanding the Chocolate Hazelnut Milk Stout was so good and I am not even a big coffee fan but that beer could change that!“

“Had the Jean Robert and it was pretty good. I would have preferred a little less Bleu and a little more goat cheese. The Bleu was a little too forward on the taste, but still real good. The fried jalapeños were amazing. It's four whole stuffed-with-cheese-and-cream-cheese jalapeños.
The mac and cheese was fantastic with a little added salt and pepper.
Don't remember what my sister got but it was also amazing.
