I started with a caesar salad with chicken which was a nice addition. The parmaesan cheese tasted like it was just freshly cut! Our entrees arrived and mine was cooked to perfection. The red sauce was soooo tasty! Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. The decor is gorgeous and the presentation of our meals was upscale. Patty was excellent, refilled our drinks promptly and overall just took great care of us. For those reading there is a big parking lot in the back which I had no trouble parking my truck. Also our previous visits we didn't book thru Open Table since it was just us 2, but those were just as good!“

“We celebrated our anniversary here yesterday with a delicious lunch. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful! Hubby had the cod and fried oysters and declared the oysters were the best he ever had. My shrimp basket was loaded with huge shrimp and the Cajun fries were very good. We topped that great meal off with complimentary slices of strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes for our anniversary! We will definitely be back!“

“Out of all the "fast food" fish places, this one is the best! Personally, I order the Fish and Clams when I go, you dont have to order that but you're also entitled to have a wrong opinion of the best thing to eat, Perfect place for a 3rd date, would willingly fight a goose in the parking lot to get inside if I had to, inside its exactly what you would expect... old people taking up all the tables like some sort of early dinner club, I believe I was the only person not wearing geriatric tennis shoes out of all of my visits there. I feel like the restaurant is slightly misleading because they dont actually have whale on the menu, it seems like basic white fish, the same as the old people inside (basic and white). Overall have went, have returned and Lord willing will return again.“

“I go to Moby Dick because there's only one or two or three places. You can get any decent fish anymore. I like to go and I'll pay a tad more if it's the same the way it used to be, prices go up we know, but when the price goes up and this portions go down, we don't like that at all and you're not fooling anyone. So I haven't noticed that. Moby Dick size of say whale of a sandwich has gone down all that much but their main competitor has and don't think we haven't noticed. So I have taken the long way around to get to Moby Dick just because of that. Believe me we notice. That's why you only got a four on food, it's cuz you're trying to skimp a little and then charge us more money. Stop playing games! You'll get better reviews.“

The server was visibly exasperated. A supervisor eventually stepped in, handled things professionally, and assigned a new server—but by then the mood had shifted. The food? Incredible. Every dish was beautifully plated and full of flavor. The steak with black truffle butter was to die for. Drinks were good ! I also loved the thoughtful extra touches they added to make the evening special. Even the manager stopped by at the end of our meal to check in and say happy birthday, which I really appreciated.
