“So I have a general motto:“If I rate something, either I love it, or I absolutely hate it. No in between.”This has to be the best daiquiri spot in the city. Hands down, the best drinks I’ve ever had at a great price. I’ll be honest, during the day and afternoon time this place looks kinda empty and like a bar. At night, this place becomes active with hella people and turns into a club. I won’t say this place is hood, but this place embraces hood elements. Don’t let that discourage you from coming here. The drinks and the bartender make this place a “must go to” I would recommend this place to everyone I meet.“

“The person who takes the orders is very friendly. The food came out quick. The sandwich has tofu eggs, some kind of sausage and then a cream cheese sauce on really tasty bread. They also have vegan grits but I didn’t try those. They have a vegan and gf cookie, a non gf vegan cookie, and a brownie. The atmosphere is great #Veganuary“

“For my parents 50th anniversary we selected a variety of cupcakes and a gold Keto vanilla cake for the party desserts. Everyone loved the selections we made, German chocolate, red velvet and strawberry lemonade. They were all delicious!“

“Such a great spot for getting work done, or for meeting with clients. The coffee is wonderful and the food is delicious. The bike path on Government provides easy access from our office in Downtown East.“

“Billie Jean’s Cafe is a hidden gem in Baton Rouge. The food is some of the best Soul Food in the area, hands down. The place is tucked away in a shopping center. It’s got a cool atmosphere with music and awesome people working behind the counter. I always feel welcomed and the food is top notch. The service is quick, made to order, reasonably priced, with daily plate lunch options to choose from. I’ve eaten here multiple times and have chosen different lunch options, they have not let me down yet! Definitely a good lunch spot and I would recommend it to anyone. The Mac and Cheese is absolutely worth the drive. Also try the chicken and waffles. The spices they use on the chicken are so good.“

“My daughter goes to LSU. I was looking for a coffee place that WAS NOT Starbucks. Found this gem. It's now my go to place for Beignets and Cafe au Lait whenever I visit. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.“
