I got the classic burger with fries. It's a pretty simple menu, but there is a board with daily specials. The burger was super delicious!! The patty was juicy and seasoned well. The bun was soft, tasty, and grilled just on the inside. The regular fries are simple, but tasty. These Nerds know what they're doing!! I'll be back!! 😉“

Came back, as I do on almost every trip. To be honest, the vibe had dropped off for a brief time for some reason but yesterday, Hailey (spelling?) and her cook (didn't get his name) held court and made for an incredible atmosphere all afternoon. Great drinks, conversation and music for hours.

They were out of straws and she asked me did I want her to run down to the Smoothie King to grab some straws for me and my grand daughter. You don’t find many employees that would offer to do that. “Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣). Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!“

“First trip to New Orleans, so I was looking forward to eating some good food. My Bro took me to a location called Hut 35 Food Truck. The guy who took my order was very nice & pleasant. He was also the chef. I ordered lamb chops and grilled shrimp. My Bro ordered the Burger Trio. His food came 1st. Bacon cheeseburger, chicken wings, & wet French fries. AMAZING FLAVORS.
I got my food, and I must say that i've never had lamb chops with any sauce on them. But these lamb chops were grilled perfectly, and this sauce....OMG! 🔥🔥🔥 So Good & so flavorful that it actually enhanced the great natural taste of lamb. I'm going to need a shipment of that sauce. Lol

“The potato I had from here made me sleepy it was so good and full. Prices are a tad bit high. I had a roast beef on bun with the potato. Overall the potato needed a little more seasoning as well as the roast beef. It was packaged nice and full but when you eating roast beef you want the seasoning to chase it. To say I had a seafood potato it shouldn't have been bland. I would dine again for a different experience.“

The employees are always willing to show you how to play a game or talk shop about the paints etc. Brian in particular is a great resource. I come here for the paint selection because they have a full suite of Vallejo paints (model, game, diorama and xpress colors), and because they have the best in stock selection of warhammer 40k and age of sigmar among local stores.

The place also has army painter, citadel and a good selection of basing supplies.

I play games closer to home so I havent participated in the store's gaming community, but it seems healthy and welcoming from what I have observed.“

The Steak Tartare and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice are some of our faves and the Timesaver was an inventive and delicious drink.
I liked that the Staff had great recommendations and the Manager made us feel really welcome and checked to make sure everything was good.
I have not made Happy Hour yet but def on my radar because it goes til 6pm and also Bingo Night looks like a good time to break up the work week monotony.“
