“One thing I dread about eating in fish market that doubles as a restaurant, is the potential of overwhelming fishyness. Now before you come at me, I mean, there's a possibility there'll be not perfectly fresh fish, or they use a lot bleach to clean, or something that smells like you're on a dock. But, I can still do take out. This place, is very clean, no over riding fish smells, staff is super friendly, and you can tell this place is filled with locals. I had an Oyster Po Boy, fully dressed, 6 inch, and it was satisfyingly filling. Oysters were definitely freshly shucked, no hint of bitterness one gets from grocery store, and in the plastic tub. Fries and drink good. I'll stop by again next time I'm passing thru. Parking is plentiful and easy to access. They also do shipping of their seafood.“
“I recently got married at the Royal Palm in November. We were so glad we chose this place. The customer service with Chip and Travis is top tier and unmatched. I had a problem with my decorator delivering what was promised and Royal Palm came through in a pinch. My guest were blown away with the elegance of this place. It was so easy to coordinate EVERYTHING. The food was good, the selections to choose from is amazing. I can go on and on because it was just that great.“
“Saffron is one our favorite places in New Orleans. We usually make the reservations a month ahead to make sure we get in. The cocktails are top of the line at Saffron! The charbroiled oysters served with naan bread are the best I've ever tasted. Friends that came with us could not stop talking about them. For the table we ordered Pork Vindaloo, a few orders of chicken Biryani, one of the specials, a kebob dish, and a few gumbos. Every dish was better than the last. The food here is amazing! Saffron's staff are very attentive and the restaurant is so warm and inviting with ambient lighting. The bar is great, too.“
“Another favorite when we are in the area!!! Husband always gets the all you can eat seafood boil, we have also tried the po boys, frog legs, and I always get a side of sausage from the boil. It is so juicy and flavorful! Service is great and the tako toddy is delicious also!“
“Capdeboscq is THE best decision we made when planning our wedding. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your day absolutely perfect. From the moment we first met with Gene to the end of our reception, this company exceeded our already high expectations. WOW! Truly an amazing caterer and fabulous staff. Capdeboscq is the only caterer worth spending your hard earned money on. The food is phenomenal, and there is tons of it. You guests will be raving about every single item Capdeboscq serves. You and your spouse will have plenty of leftovers the next day (maybe even week). I am unbelievably happy with the service and food Capdeboscq provided for our big day. THANK YOU!!!“
“Traveling from sunny Florida for a family wedding and sight seeing in NOLA for a week.We went to City Park for the day and happened upon Blue Oak BBQ restaurant.I had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and my son had a hamburger with fries. The baked beans were TO DIE FOR...BEST I EVER HAD!!!!The burger was cooked to perfection and the pulled pork sandwich was mouth watering. Thank you for good ole fashion southern BBQ!“

“We drove across the Causeway for the opportunity to enjoy Chef Natasha’s food. We will definitely be returning. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The best comment was from my son, “This takes me back to good days” referring to buying supper plates and plates from the church. Thank you Chef for the follow up call.“
“NOLA Crawfish King combines two of my favorite food groups with their offerings in BOTH seafood & BBQ. They also offer a notable burger which is quite a hefty example of the burger genre. NOLA Crawfish King is noted for having quickly being one of the top New Orleans BBQ restaurants and also offers an interesting selection of nice burgers and other sandwiches on top of their great seafood options. So far I have sampled the BBQ brisket, a brisket bomb, their burger, their Rueben and of course the crawfish. NOLA Crawfish King has some of the spiciest and best crawfish I've had in a long while and since Big Fisherman closed on Magazine Street the current champ of having the best seasoned crawfish in New Orleans is the NOLA Crawfish King as measured by my taste buds. Overall NOLA Crawfish King rally offers a lot of delicious food options that really deserves more recognition. My video review of NOLA Crawfish King Seafood & BBQ is here:https://youtu.be/sz45ZHjkLjs“
“What a gem! Great authentic Honduran food. Very good service and fair prices. We tried a cross section of the menu and everything was excellent. I personally like some spice but with flavor, not just heat. This was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent.“
“3-29-2024, stopped in today for lunch. We had the stuffed Millerton w/ broccoli and rice and cornbread dressing. Excellent as usual. Also, the pot roast with souffle spinach and grilled brussel sprouts. Excellent. I only complained about this place is so “
“Ohhhhhh chilllleeeee... Excellent food and service. Chef Shonda is amazing. Her food is to LIVE for!!!! I recently happened upon her cuisine by way of a friend and I am so thankful for the share. Chef Shonda offers fine dining food to go, and when I say it's fine, it truly is. I would expect some of the dishes that she provides to be on a menu at an upscale restaurant. I love the fact that she is accommodating to patrons regarding their food needs. I have a few food constraints, hunnnnniiiieeeeeee, me and dairy are not friends... She makes certain to advise of the food ingredients in the event that you have a food allergy or something of that nature. On this particular day, I had jerk salmon, yellow rice & sautéed veggies; and it was simply amazing. I love salmon and the jerk sauce that she put on top was phenomenal. I didn't think that I could love salmon anymore than I already do. But that jerk sauce that she puts on it takes salmon to a whole 'nother level. And the yellow rice was accompanied with the mixed vegetables, simply divine. When eating the yellow rice I noticed each individual grain was separate and not sticking to the fork or another grain. It was light, fluffy and full of flavor. The vegetables were perfectly sautéed. There were no burnt marks on them. None were over or under cooked. Oh, and don't even get me started on the peach cobbler cheesecake. Oh well, see, you got me started so here we go... I ate mine and had to call back and ask if there was more. So happy she was able to accommodate me because I had two servings of the peach cobbler cheesecake, oh chile, it was great. Can I tell you the truth and let you know I ate my entrée and my dessert at the same time. Literally one spoon of the entrée... One spoon of dessert. #judgementfreezone The packaging and containers that the food was served in was above board for takeout. I mean it's personally labeled, very neat and orderly. I feel like I should pay extra just because of the nice packaging. She provides plastic and not that UNenvironmentally friendly Styrofoam. Her food is finger licking good from start to finish. As you can tell, look at the lack of contents of my bowl (see picture), there's a before and after, notice the difference? Hats off to Chef Shonda and her team job. Well done. I look forward to more takeout moments with Chef Shonda.“
“So, I got a CupCake that was inspired by music and late night in the bakery. I dont know what they called that caramel goodness but it was emotional. Tasted like the caramel cake my Grandma made on Saturday day to sit for Sunday after church. Literally, made me cry. Thank you for this.Kid-friendliness: Issa CupCake store.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalks are wide and doors wide enough to accommodate.“
“Holy Moly! As a born and bred South Georgia girl ( not really a girl anymore, lol) I know chicken. Or I thought I did. So when I say that this is without a doubt the best dang chicken sandwich on the planet, you can take that info to the BANK! My daughter Anna insisted we go there first thing as we attended the New Orleans Fried Chicken Festival and although we had some great dishes, this was just spectacular! Now have I ever called a chicken sandwich spectacular? Not once and I have had some really good ones in my lifetime.I just know when I win the lottery ( and I am lucky!) these will be the first folks I invest in. So if you want your tastebuds to be dancing all day, just go. I'm not normally this excited about something, but they have it going on!“
“Food was really good and the beer from Faubourg where it's located is delicious. Staff are overall super friendly and pleasant. Our order was incomplete and had to return to counter for missing drink. Different staff member at the counter seemed quite annoyed that I came back to get the drink.“
“This is the best food truck option I have had in New Orleans. The food is to die for! I am plant-based and was so happy to find the options were great! I wasn't feeling a sandwich and asked if I could just have the "chicken strips" and mac 'n cheese. They fixed the mac n' cheese and chopped the strips and mixed it in. OH MY GOD!!!! The crispy strips and mac was more than I expected! It was soooo delicious! The food is very tasty, high quality, and the service was excellent! With vegan options, this truck has something for everyone. Add to that the late night hours on weekends and you never have to wonder where to eat after an event and you're still hungry. I will definitely be a regular customer!!!“
“Still the best chill out place Thu go in the parish corner of St Bernard highway and Paris road place has not changed a bit since the 80's thank god! I met my husband there in 1991 and we got married there in 1999 in the back in the hotel part and guess what here it is 2020 still married just wish the guy that made the oyster shooters would have left them hits recipe. I'll always end my night off going out there.“
