“Came after a tour at Destrahan Plantation and quite hungry. My friend and I were seated promptly and brought beverages. We decided quickly. I got the crab Rangoon for us to share and they were perfection. I got two sushi rolls and they were good. They seem to be quite the popular place to eat.“

“I was there on their grand dim sum opening. The staff is very friendly and Attentive. The food is very good. Been trying lots of Chinese restaurants in the area, I would say their food is authentic and freshly made, not from frozen package. It's great place if you have big group of people and family. However, don't go if you are in your lunch break because the wait time for food is long, and recommend an hour to finish the meal. Pay attention for what you order since they lost track of it, and seem like they miss some of items that I marked down on the piece of paper to order. They also made mistake on my bill, because they extra charge me for 2 more plates that I didn't order. They did correct it, and apologized for the mistake. it's their first day, and it's super busy, so making mistakes are understandable. I will come back for the food.“
“This was my first time to dine at Little Chinatown and it did not disappoint! From my experience, you can expect excellent food, good portions, and great service. Although you cannot substitute fried rice for the entree white rice, the combination fried rice is worth the extra $$$…it’s a huge portion which can take care of 4 people. My girlfriend and I had the vegetable rolls, pepper beef, and blackened steak. We took leftovers home. I will definitely return to try some of their other offerings.“

“Best hole in the wall place for Chinese food in Kenner/Metairie area. My husband introduced me to this restaurant over a decade ago and we continue to order food from here at least a few times every month. We usually order the combo plates, chicken on the stick, and crab rangoons. We find the food is consistent, hot, and fast. I never knew freshly cooked General Tso chicken was supposed to be crispy and then covered in sauce until I tried it here. The service is great for introverts who want to just pick up their food and go. The inside is pretty dated, but always clean.“
“Wonderful place. Great food and friendly staff. One of the best buffets based on quality and selection I’ve been to. It is worth the trip and there is plenty of room for a large group. Addition: We went here recently, - twice in 2 weeks with different groups. Excellent selections and service.Parking: There are several spaces In front of the restaurant but they are a little tight there’s plenty of parking around the side and in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and the inside is ramped for easy access. There are 2 steps at the rear of the buffet, but an alternate route is available to go to and from the buffet and the bathrooms.“

“I love Chinese food. Bur golden china is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Me and my wife loved every single bite. The portions are so big we couldn't even finish it. We paid 58$ which is not too bad regarding the portions. At other Chinese restaurants for 58 bucks you get barely anything. “Went in for dinner. Had the Buddha plate. It was pretty good but is better with the duck sauce. The wonton are REALLY good. The spring rolls were ok. It was mainly cabbage and no other veggies and very bland in my opinion. The jasmine tea was good. The warmth was perfect for the cold atmosphere. Waitress Julie was really cool. Great atmosphere. Wish they had booths.“
“Food is really good. Definitely best in the area for takeout Chinese food. Chicken was not overcooked or stringy like at other locations. Rice tasted fresh and not stale. Just became my regular to go spot. Only thing I noticed that’s not a big issue, pork egg rolls are kinda small, good but small so order a few extra. Shrimp egg rolls are normal size. Please keep up the good work HK.“
