“The ice cream at this place is top-tier. The only reason I would give it four stars instead of five is because the waffle cones don’t seem to be fresh or freshly made (maybe out of a box). They don’t match the quality of the ice cream. The ice cream is top-tier 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend this place and I love the ice cream. When I go back I will just not get my ice cream in a waffle cone.“

“A delightful and popular institution among NOLA bakery gelaterias. Outstanding traditional Italian pastries; tortes, cannolis, eclairs and cake slices. Good assortment of gelato flavors. Also quite a variety of imported packaged Italian delicacies displayed for gifting and take home. There are a handful of small tables in front and more sit down tables just above/beyond the main floor. Parking is tight in front, but there's a variety of options nearby.“

My favorites are their homemade hot sausage, club sandwiches, fried fish, and chef salads along with their delicious banana splits! I also appreciate their great customer service!“

“This is by far the best Snowball stand in the world. Just saying! The ice , the flavors are amazing. But I had a bad experience. I always order a medium sized snowball in a large cup. All of you experienced snowball experts understand my reasoning for doing this. So that I can drive without the drizzle of syrup running down my shirt. Well, I asked for the large cup and the cashier didn’t acknowledge that she did hear what I asked. So I repeated it. She then responded quite rudely. Saying that she did hear what I asked. Well of course when my number was called to get my treat it was in a medium cup. I asked about the large cup and was told that it wasn’t on the receipt. I was then told that they could not transfer my treat because of the condense milk. With all this trouble … I can’t wait to get off of work to go back..?“

“My wife and I tried Sweet Magnolia Ice for the first time, and it was a great experience! The little purple hut made for a some cute photos, and the snowballs were very good. We tried a “The Sweet Magnolia” with ice cream and a cherry snowball - so we could get their specialty and a classic. Both were very good! We’d definitely go back!“

“Love what these two ladies have built over the years here in St. Rose! The menu is huge with unbelievable options of goodies and treats to choose from and most often delicious.

I'll keep my fifth star because the exterior and seating need a serious upgrade, especially with the eye sore attached to the building. At minimum wash down the dust and webs from the signage and remove old signage debris from the fence. A little love goes a long way.“

“21MAR26 ~ What a great 'after soccer match' event with my son & grandson! The interior was bright/well-lit, cheery, well organized, & spotless. There was plenty of tables & chairs for patrons. The yogurt was excellent, with many varieties, several regulars and some seasonal or unique flavors. There were also many topping varieties. The waffle cones are a flat rate, and the paper cups are priced 'by weight'. Nice for families or a date. Enjoy! We sure did...“

“I just wanted to say what an amazing staff you have! My husband and I have been trying to get to drip for a while now and we finally made it. It was a spur of the moment so I didn’t make reservations. We sat at the bar and to see the interactions with the staff warmed my heart! Emily ( behind the bar) was excellent! She was so patient with the staff, while she never stopped working, she still made time to tend to her customers, answer questions for the staff and even teach them how to do things to help. I adore your establishment and wish we would ah e come sooner! But we WILL be back! and you guys will always be a top recommendation for everyone who asks places to go! “I do like marble Slab. I'm probably in there at least once a week. My daughter and I came in tonight and we both ordered chocolate with cookie dough mixed in and fudge. When I got home and was eating it I came across paper gummy bears and some type of nut in it. Please make sure that the slab they mix it on is cleaned before putting ice cream on it. That could be extremely dangerous for anyone allergic to nuts. 😞😩😩😩“
