“This was probably our favorite dining experience in New Orleans, which is saying something! We ate here our first evening in the city and it was a great way to kick off our vacation. This truly is a next-level dining experience, not just a meal. The restaurant is in a small historic house near the Garden District and it’s a lovely quaint atmosphere. My husband and I opted for the communal seating experience and we had great conversations with our fellow diners. Each course was presented well, with a description from our waitstaff, and while it is 7 courses, it isn’t too much food at all. Cocktails are quite good too (we skipped the wine pairing). Definitely not an everyday dinner, but 100% worth the splurge!“

“We visited Russell’s Marina Grill while in New Orleans because my son is a huge fan of a musician whose family owns the restaurant. We already expected great food, but what we got was an experience we’ll never forget. Not only was the meal absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love—but the hospitality we received was above and beyond. My son got to meet the musician’s brother, who manages the restaurant, and he even came out to take a picture with us. My son was thrilled. But then the moment got even better: we learned that only three signed hats had been left at the restaurant by his favorite artist—and my son was gifted one. The look on his face said it all. It was a dream come true, and a moment he’ll carry with him forever. The staff was kind, warm, and genuinely cared about creating a great experience for their guests. “Food was good. I got the sampler platter and that was plenty (for me). The ensalada (salad) dressing was a little on the spicy side which was not described on the menu so I wasn’t expecting that so I ended up not eating it. Wait staff was very attentive. Drinks were good. Great place to go if you need gluten free food and like Colombian food. If you don’t need gluten free-you wouldn’t even know it. :)

“I saw this lovely place on Uber Ears and decided to give it a try. I AM HOOKED! Unfortunately I don’t go to that area of town often but I may have to in the future! The Bavarian Cream and Venetian Cream iced coffee drinks are off the chain! But the best is the Wellness Tonic…their signature wellness shot with tonic water and ice! Chef’s kiss!“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

We had tried a seafood restaurant the day before in the French quarter and left a bit disappointed thinking we wouldn't get the great dining experience we were hoping for while in New Orleans, but Restaurant des Familles more than provided. The delivery person helped me get the food inside which I appreciated. Everything that we ordered was there and there was enough food for some leftovers. The students all raved about how great the food was and how excited they were about the cheese dip and chicken tacos. The ordering process on the front end was easy - and the employee Samantha was able to help me adjust the order the day of the event. Outstanding service! A+ FOR FELIPES!“

“I love this bakery and café so much, it's a delicious and wonderful spot for a breakfast or lunch date. I love the food, and everything reflects great product quality. Their staff are always sweet and attentive. The prices are pretty fair for a vegan place in NOLA. This is a good spot to take family members visiting New Orleans! It always smells amazing. I frequently order here and I'm never disappointed.

“I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.“

I could never imagined that I would have such an extraordinary experience like this from a business establishment outside of my own neighborhood!L Lorraine Lanzilotta is such an amazing person to deal with. Her kindness, professionalism, helpfulness and beyond outstanding customer service offered gave me chills! This employee treated me as if we had been friends for many years! She made the entire process so much fun and personalized my order knowing how much the recipient (my daughter) would just LOVE her baked goods. Lorraine’s interpersonal skills and attention to detail are like no one else’s . I sent the most creative and charming cake and cupcakes to Nikki for a special celebration…and not only did she ensure it was artistically designed and personalized to perfection, but she also wrapped it in cellophane and attached a gorgeous notecard. My girl received it less than an hour from when I placed the order and was blown away by the presentation. Nothing But Bundt Cakes earned my business today and certainly deserves to earn yours. FUN FACT:Coming in March this franchise will be opening up in my neighborhood. “A charming little gem of a place with lots of history, Casamento's is a true old-school Louisiana seafood joint. We visited on opening day at the start of oyster season, and I couldn't have been happier with my meal. I had oysters 3 ways - raw, chargrilled, and fried, and everything was very fresh and tasty. The two daughters that are servers are super sweet, and very understanding of celiac disease/ the need to eat GF. Dedicated fryer is a big plus.
