The owner Miss Sara came an talked to us about our experience. They all made us feel like we were important to them. Some places make you feel like a bother. Not here. The cakes were so delicious that we also purchased the shower cake from there. Everyone raved about all three cakes. This establishment is a jewel! I wish I had known about it sooner as we would have purchased all our cakes from there! Amazing!”

I might get one in there by accident. but today in just about every bite I took it was alot of peppers. “Visited for the first time last night for the podcast event. Wasnt too crowded and there was a man working that did his best to get everyone a chair. The strawberry beer was SO good. We walked across the street and ordered some food. The nachos were seriously some of the best I've ever eaten. Onion rings were fried to perfection. The bartenders and kitchen staff were very friendly and efficient. The music was awesome. Was it a dirty dancing sountrack?!? Whatever it was, my friend and I loved singing along! I drove an hour to get there and will for sure make that trip again in the future.”

“This is such a cute restaurant in a cute area. We had 3 of the appetizers, fried pickles, onion strings and the fried Green Beans, which were all amazing. The sauces were delicious. I also had the cookie butter burger, which was really good. But it could use something else, because cookie butter tends to be on the drier side. So it needs something moist, but other than that, the burger was really good and the meat was delicious. The jalapeno vinaigrette for the salad is divine!!!

“I’m posting 5 stars simply so I don’t hurt their rating. But sadly I’ve been quite disappointed lately. I usually order a brown sugar boba with tapioca pearls… what I think is a pretty common drink. And I’m only able to order it maybe 1 out of every 5 times I’ve entered in the last year. I’ve tried at different times of the day and different days of the week. I can’t seem to crack the code. It’s gotten to where when I walk in, one of the ladies that works there just straight up says they’re out. She already knows. I’ll keep trying but sadly I don’t stop in as often anymore simply because it’s usually a waste of time. They’re going to be out. Super friendly staff and great owner though. Just poor inventory management? I don’t know.”

The prices are great and when I lived in Hammond this was a regular place that I would hang out and always felt safe even when I was alone. Being a single female at the time and being able to vibe with the other patrons and drink and feel safe enough to walk home alone at night, really speaks volumes about this place. I hope to visit one day again and say hi to Tina and everyone. This really is a Great place.”

“Since New Orleans Original Daiquiris(My Go Too since 1987) Shut Down, looked for a D shop that compared. Other option was way to Sweet, too much triple sec, has been for Years. Found WISEGUYS Godfather was as close to the (Pre Political Correctness CHILD Abuse Drink) later called House Special. Was the GODFATHER, in taste and effects. Not enough staff or room to be seating large parties of 12 to 15 people on a Saturday night yall should stop accommodating parties that size and making wait time 45 plus minutes or longer for your regulars and small tables. 2. You need to get a handle on the weed smoking in the front door of your restaurant yes this was actually happening by your large 15 plus party you accommodated and backed up the weight for an hour for every one else. 3. If your out of quit a few things like shrimp poboys and certain potatoes and appetizers come out side and let all the people that’s waiting for that hour know your out of those things, I wait for a hour for a table only to find out yall were out of shrimp poboys. 4. Put bottle of ketchup on your table so that your wait staff are running around like crazy every a kid or adult needs more ketchup.”

The atmosphere for studying can be a little hard nesr the coffee shop, I'd recommend going to the 3rd or fourth floor for that. There is also a microwave if you bring your own lunch. Overall great experience, great coffee, and great service! These ladies are what employees should be like around campus dining areas.”

“Got here the night before. They have two dock doors. I backed into the furthest one away from the ramp. I didn't back all the way into the dock. Just enough so I was out of the way. They come in @ 7 am. When they came in they had me back into the other dock door closest to the ramp. Nobody bothered me all night while parked. I had 3/4 of a trailer load. They had me unloaded less than a hour. Very nice people.”

“Doordashed teepees the other day. Shrimp plate, fish and shrimp plate, chicken nuggets and fries and couldn't resist trying the funnel cake fries (definitely should've got the large). Everything was fried to perfection! Second time trying teepees and has never disappointed. Even when I was delivering doordash orders myself from teepees he was always kind and the food was always worth any wait. One really cool thing I love about ordering from there is he adds a little booklet with scripture in it. She is definitely the waitress you will be very pleased with. Good job Waffle House on retaining quality employees.”

“I was living behind there in 2007 for a couple months remodeling those mobile homes and painting at Elmers chocolate factory. I gained 50 pounds eating breakfast lunch and supper there. Everything there is amazing. I even saw navy pilot from Pensacola there. I would move to Hammond just to eat there regularly. Now I take my family there when ever we're near.”

“This is Panda Express on the territory of the educational institution, located inside the building in the food court (on the ground floor, 10 meters from the front door).There is no parking for visitors next to the building, all nearby parking areas are for staff + paid spaces. You need to drive a little away from the ring towards a 4-story residential building, where you can park near the green tables and at the same time eat at the tables.The food was delicious, standard portions. The girl who works is very nice and friendly.”

“How is this place not constantly packed with people is beyond me. The best Japanese cuisine in the Hammond/Ponchatoula area. The prices are reasonable. Our family favourite are the snow crab salad (no crunchy), chicken hibachi w/noodles, clear soup, New Orleans roll and a chicken fried rice. The sushi has yet to disappoint. We tried kyoto around 2018. Never had a wrong order or bad food. The inside is small but we always order to go.”

My sandwich had no crumbles of bleu cheese. The dressing tasted like sweet onion. It was not worth the extra $1.75 for this special limited time combo. Inflation and prices are going up, so offer what you advertise. If you don’t have some condiments in stock, then let the customer know or don’t offer the product. Hype no longer works for some of us.”

“I’ve been ordering from China Wok for years. The food is consistent and always ready in about ten minutes. The food is super affordable and have good portion sizes. Nowadays, I exclusively order my food to go because they closed the dining area down during Covid and it hasn’t really opened up for indoor dining.

I usually order a dinner combo (comes with entre, rice, and an egg roll) and a small soup. I like their chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, and sesame chicken. I like that they are open later than other Asian places in town so when I’m craving Chinese food I can order from here.”
